Have a question about planning a trip to Disney or something you’ve read here? We’re here to help! We’ve visited every Disney resort around the world, from Walt Disney World to Tokyo Disney Resort, and have stayed in nearly every Disney-owned hotel.
Many frequently asked questions we receive can be answered by reading the posts on this site. If you are curious about a certain topic, use the search feature at the top of the page. Some of our most helpful pages include the following…
If you’re trying to plan a Walt Disney World trip, visit our Walt Disney World Trip Planning Guide. If planning a Disneyland trip, check out our Disneyland Trip Planning Guide. If you have questions about photography or want camera recommendations, read our Photography Guide. If you want to use one of the Tom’s photos from this site on your own blog, website, etc., check out our Photo Usage page. If you have questions about Sarah’s attire, take a look at our What to Wear to Disney and Unique Disney Packing List posts.
If you can’t find a post that answers your question, please leave a comment on a relevant post, and we will do our best to reply to your question. We see all new comments, even on old posts. This is the easiest and most effective way of asking us a question. Unfortunately, we do not have time to respond to questions via email–you’re much more likely to get a response to a comment on a post.
Please note that we just two passionate Disney fans writing a blog about our experiences with advice based on those experiences in our free time. In other words, don’t expect instantaneous responses or post an ALL CAPS comment when we don’t respond to you within a day. If you don’t hear from us within a week or two, consider re-posting the comment, as we might have missed it.
We are not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company nor is this an official Disney blog, so if you have questions or complaints about a booking with Disney or anything of that sort, you’ll want to contact Disney Guest Services for that.
Thanks,
Sarah & Tom Bricker
Thank you for the ‘head’s up’ about Trump’s visit this Dec. Those of us who can will avoid the area. That is usually the same time the Pop Warner teams descend on WDW too. Yikes.
I don’t see anywhere on your website to sign up for your emailed newsletters. Am I missing it?
Hey Tom,
I know you’re busy – but a petition has been started to bring back Muppets Great Moments in History. Is there any chance of a mention on your website or Facebook page?

Thank you!
I keep requesting a newsletter subscription but I do not receive the email to confirm it???
Hi Tom,
Enjoy your site very much. Your personalized writing style is very easy and your recommendations are sound. We used much advice on a recent WDW trip.
Question on your blog: one thing I don’t see is any date stamp on your posts (at least not next to the headline or your byline). This makes ascertaining when the post was written a mystery – I often find myself scrolling to the comments to see when the majority of the comments were posted to guesstimate when the post was authored. Can you add in a date and year for each post? Would be very helpful to instantly know if I’m reading a current review or a recommendation/ranking that might be stale. Much thanks!
Hey Tom: I’m a longtime reader of your blog – really enjoy your insights and perspectives. Just wondered if you would be open to another author contributing to your blog – I have twin sons and we have visited the Parks at least once a year over the last ten years. I have some unique and helpful perspectives on traveling with kids — plus I have years of experience as a travel blogger. Let me know if you want to talk about the possibilities of writing for you.
Thanks — Tom
Hello!!
We are planning a two week trip to WDW in October/November of this year and are staying at the Royal rooms in Riverside with a river view. Is there anywhere I can find which specific rooms have the best views of the river? I don’t want to be looking out into a treetop for 2 weeks!!
Thank you so much!
Hi Tom and Sarah.
I am going to pop you an email shortly. My husband and I are going to be visiting California in April (from Australia) and have always wanted to go to Disneyland so am excited that after 34 years I am going. I have a complex health issues which mean limited mobility and I won’t be able to spend a long time at the park maybe only a few hours. I would love your advice on a few things but don’t want to put up details here due to it being about my health. If you have time to answer my email I would be very grateful but understand you are both very busy. Kind regards Emilie
I had been working on planning my family’s trip to Disney World which we are leaving for in a few days. I just want to say that your site has been Invaluable in helping organize my thought and planning things for each day. I feel very confident in navigating my wife, 4 year old and 10 month old daughters through out trip in Disney. Going in blindly I think I would have been very apprehensive the whole trip.
Thanks again for all the information you continue to provide and update!!!

Hi Tom,
My daughter and I have been reading your post for many months, ever since we booked our trip. Thank you so much for all the information you have provided. We have learned so much and will be taken a lot of your recommendations. We both love reading everything you write. And you are pretty funny, also. You and your wife are a very cute couple.
I will be visiting Disney World next week and was wondering if they sell post cards at the park and/or resorts. Also, can I buy stamps and mail them? I’ve read some post that say yes, but the newest ones are from 2016. I don’t know if the park still does that.
Thank you very much for your reply.
I will be traveling with 4 other adults and 5 kids (a total of 10 of us) to Disney World from 9/15/18 – 9/23/18 and after reading the Hurricane Irma post, I am wondering if we should just cancel/reschedule our trip due to the unpredictability so far of Hurrican Florence.
Any thoughts/recommendations?
Thanks for putting together such a fantastic blog. I refer to you both more than any other resource when guiding clients as a Disney vacation planner. My family and I are headed to WDW during Jersey week for our annual Food & Wine festival visit. Will you both be visiting this year’s festival? When do you plan to visit? Thanks again!
Love your site and blog.
Question… Are your blog entries dated? If they are—can you point me to the dates? It they aren’t dated, maybe consider adding that info.
Thanks!
Hey guys, I would like to read a post with more about YOU! So many questions come to mind as I read your posts: What jobs do you have that allow you the freedom & money to travel so much? What other interests do you have besides travel? How many times have you visited WDW or Disneyland? Inquiring minds of us “ordinary” people want to know! Keep up the good work!
I also came here to find out the answer to that question: “What jobs do you have that allow you the freedom & money to travel so much?” I envy you two! (But not in a bitter, judgmental way–if I had the opportunity, I, too, would bounce from Disney Park to Disney Park all over the world!)
Hey, I wanted to know if you guys were going to post a review of Toy Story Land once you get a chance to go there. Thanks, and I’m a huge fan of this blog!!!
When are the least busy and busiest times of DAY for each park? I know there will be some variability, but our family’s current plan is to hit any early EMH parks, ride rides/meet characters until the people who slept in come in and clog the parks, eat brunch as it starts to get crowded, and go to the next less busy park. I would just like to know which times I should plan on setting time aside for eating and the best time to leave because I’d hate to miss out on any “prime time” in regards to short line waits because we were having breakfast before we move on, or get caught off guard by a long line because we didn’t tap out sooner.
Thoughts? Thanks! Love the blog! Big fan 🙂
Do you think they will add beauty and the beast ride at Walt Disney World they could have it replace Enchanted Tales with Bell or The Be Our Guest Restaurant
On the hotels rankings page (https://www.disneytouristblog.com/disneyland-anaheim-hotels-reviews-rankings/), hotel 14 Hyatt Place as a URL to the full review. That URL is actually the the full review for the Hyatt House. Just a note so you can edit it. Love the info on your site.
So with the Dapper Day at Disney World on the horizon, where are your recommended spots for Disney portrait photography?
Love the site…soooo much information and have spent hours trying to cover it all…Here is my question. We are arriving at Disneyland on November 3rd, 2017 and have 5 day park hopper. I have been to Disneyland 20+ times but this is only the second trip for my girlfriend and her 13 and 14 year old children (their last trip they were very young). I have been so often I have a routine but I don’t want to miss anything that I would overlook but they need to see/do. So 11/3-11/8 2017 what is a must do, see, attend, eat, etc…..thank you so much.
