Ever Wonder How Sleeping Beauty Castle Looks At 5:55 a.m.?

As the clock neared the 6 am closing time on “One More Disney Day” at Disneyland, the remaining guests who braved the overnight hours descended upon the hub and Main Street, USA. Everyone was surprisingly wide-awake, and excited to be there as Disneyland finished its long day. Of course, I was still going crazy with my camera, as it’s not everyday that you can photograph Sleeping Beauty Castle in this beautiful 5:55 am “blue hour” light! In just an hour, this beautiful blue hour light would give way to a gorgeous sunrise, as captured in this photo of the Main Street Train Station (on Facebook).

Technical details: tripod-mounted Nikon D7000 and Rokinon 8mm Fisheye Lens. See our Disney Photography Guide for more photography equipment recommendations.

Very nice – one of my favorite spots to shoot from too. Great lens selection; I need to get one of those soon. @TommyPix

Explain to me why I should ever pick up a camera again. I truly am not worthy.

I think I prefer this to the sunrise picture. Love the reflection and the overall framing. And you can hardly tell the Matterhorn is encased in scaffolding! Awesome shot!
