Instant Concert! …Just Add Water Photos
Instant Concert! is a short daytime show in the World of Color viewing area at Disney California Adventure added to help with the large crowds visiting Disney California Adventure in Summer 2012. The background narration is reminiscent of Disney cartoon shorts or Silly Symphony Swings, as he chides Maestro Goofy while Goofy attempts to direct a short concert of dancing water in Paradise Bay. The show only lasts around four or five minutes, but it’s a cute little piece of entertainment to enjoy while eating some ice cream or enjoying a cold beverage. For what it is, it’s a nice little enhancement to the ambiance of Paradise Pier.

Wow TDA really turned it up for the Grand Reopening and brought out all kinds of cool things. This is a small thing that really brings it up to standard Disney “magic” levels. It makes me want to travel out to California even more
It would be great to maybe see them start to do something like the Bellagio does in Las Vegas, maybe having the fountains do water ballet every fifteen or thirty minutes or on the hour or what have you. They can sync the different routines to Disney songs! This could be epic 🙂
This is somewhat like that, except with Goofy, too. I agree that more should be done with the fountains, especially if they aren’t being lowered during the day.
I’m glad to see them using the fountains during the day. I’ve always thought since they’re there, they should use them!
Agreed. The show isn’t much, but I think just about everyone who has seen it has enjoyed it. It’s a perfect “little Disney touch.” Now, if Disney were advertising it as some awesome, spectacular show, I’d feel differently. But it’s pretty under the radar.
