Disneyland eBook: Sunrise to Sunrise
It has been a busy spring for us, and not just because we’ve already taken a couple of Disney trips! I’ve also been working on a few new projects in addition to this website. As most of you probably know, I work for TouringPlans.com. Today, I’m excited to share one of the TouringPlans projects on which I’ve been working, a new eBook titled Disneyland: Sunrise to Sunrise.
Disneyland: Sunrise to Sunrise is an eBook with over 200 photos from the “One More Disney Day” event on Leap Day at Disneyland. The eBook is, essentially, a photo-eBook. I captured all of the photos in the book and laid them out in a visually-engaging manner along with accompanying captions that give some non-technical information about the photos and share some facts about Disneyland (such as the original name for Splash Mountain, the architectural style of New Orleans Square, etc.) along the way. It’s a fun and–I think–pretty book that any Disneyland fan, or Disney theme parks fan for that matter, will enjoy.
As far as the photos go, each and every single one is from Leap Day at Disneyland. Since I’m crazy, I stayed in the Disneyland for over 24 consecutive hours on Leap Day (I actually arrived to wait in line just after 4 am on February 29th and was the last guest to leave at the end of the event!) and ran around like a madman with two cameras, documenting the entire day along the way. It was a tough job, but someone had to do it! 😉
All in all, I’m really excited about the book and I hope you enjoy it. The whole team at TouringPlans has put a lot of work into it, and we hope it shows!

Book looks awesome! Does the website not have an RSS feed?
There’s an RSS feed. Is it not working for you?
I just couldn’t find the link so I subscribed to it through my browser, which found the link for me. Bought the e-book and it’s great!
Just bought on my iPad! Saved in Dropbox so I can re read on my Mac and iPhone. Thanks Tom!!!
I just finished reading the entire thing. As a Disneyland vet, I must say you did a fantastic job!
Thanks! Glad to hear that you liked it!
What a great concept! Do you think a “coffee table book” of your Disney photography is a possibility for the future? I would love to have a copy!
That is a great idea! I would love one too! I better get shopping before the book comes out since I don’t own a coffee table!!
Who knows what the future holds! 😉
Got it, Tom. I only wish you could have been on both sides of the country that day.
I hear ya there. Science, get to work on that! 😉
Hi Tom,
Can’t wait to see it. I know I take great photos but you help inspire me to become better!!! I appreciate your work and passion as they are the same as mine. Keep up the great job.
