So it’s not really snow, but now that I have you here, check out some of these infrared photos of Walt Disney World and Disneyland. For those unfamiliar with this type of photography, to capture these images, I used a camera that has been modified so it only captures infrared light, and blocks out all light visible to the human eye, which is why these photos look so “different.” No Photoshop trickery here, these are “real” images, they are just images of light the human eye can’t normally see. Pretty cool, right?

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I’ll shut up (!) and let the images do the talking.

I realize this post, primarily in photos, is a bit of a departure from my prose-heavy posts, but I’m assuming a lot of people first started visiting this site after seeing my photos, so I wanted to try something new.   3. You are really making me want to get into this, they just look so cool and like tons of fun to shoot! I just don’t have a spare $450 the Nikon D70 I found on ebay. LoL :) Great shots!

  6. I read your article in WDWphotography.com and you mentioned how they looked red, for your “color infrared” pictures have you thought about leaving the red on the plant since chlorophyl reflects infrared light causing all plants to look red?

  8. Hi Tom ! i love these pictures. So how can i set Aperture on a converted Nikon D70 ? If i cant get a converted Nikon D70. which model (Nikon D90, D60….)will do best for ir photos. Current im using D7000. Thanks
