Pinocchio at Night – Disneyland Photo
I love these little statues in the hub. Heck, on “One More Disney Day” alone, I took over 100 shots of these statues! (Oddly, I didn’t take a single one of the Goofy statue on that particular day.) Given that I took so many on that one single day, I’m almost surprised that I took any photos of them for the rest of the trip. I just couldn’t resist this one of Pinocchio, though. I used manual focus and Live View here because this area was so dark that auto-focus wouldn’t work. I’m pretty pleased with the results, as I nailed the focus on Pinnochio’s face at a really shallow depth of field.
Technical details: single exposure; tripod-mounted Nikon D7000 and Sigma 30mm f/1.4 Lens. See our Disney Photography Guide for more photography equipment recommendations.
