May the Fourth Be With You!
May the Fourth be with you! We’re excited to celebrate the day honoring the phenomenon created by George Lucas and continued by Disney via films, streaming series, and even theme park lands and attractions built by Imagineering.
We have over 100 intergalactic Star Wars photos from Walt Disney World and Disneyland for you here! This page features pictures from Star Tours (both the original and Adventures Continue), Rise of the Resistance, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Savi’s Workshop, Droid Depot, and more spots within Galaxy’s Edge.
In addition, we have tons of shots from the now-retired Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which we still really miss! This includes one-time breakfasts and buffets, rare character meet & greets, Hyperspace Hoopla , and much more! Everyone is here, from Darth Vader to Darth Goofy, C-3PO, Chewbacca, Stormtroopers, and even Admiral Ackbar!
Welcome to the Star Tours Tomorrowland Spaceport, StarSpeeder service to Endor. Flight 1-14 will now be departing from gate number 2.
Here are the photos, presented without commentary…
We do hope you enjoyed your photo tour of Endor and Batuu, and will come back soon. Now please remain seated until the captain has opened the exit doors.
You may then unlatch your safety restraints by pressing the release button on your left. Oh, and do make sure you have your personal belongings. Thank you. Goodbye! 😉
If you’re planning on visiting Star Wars land, you’ll also want to read our Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Guide. This covers a range of topics from basics about the land and its location, recommended strategies for Galaxy’s Edge, what to do, and how to beat the crowds. As for planning the rest of your trip, we have a thorough Walt Disney World Planning Guide and comprehensive Disneyland Vacation Planning Guide.

Just stopping by to say I enjoyed the journey down picture lane. Some fantastic photos captured there. Thanks for the great content,
Great pictures. That Chip and Dale photo at the very beginning is too cute! And the Yoda frappacino made me laugh!
Thanks for the great pictures!!! We have not been to any of the new Star Wars Land. Suppose to go in Aug. That is very up in the air for us, as we are in our 60’s. But looking forward to It!
Thank you for the wonderful memories today! Great pictures!!
May the 4th always be with you and Sara making everything easier for everyone else!!
Those are really really great photos!
Those photos were beautiful! (Someone will have to explain Darth Vader’s glitter glove to me.) Happy May the Fourth!
Haha, that was a Michael Jackson reference in Hyperspace Hoopla. The photo is from shortly after MJ’s death, when there was a huge resurgence in his popularity.
As a huge Star Wars fan himself, Michael would have loved it.
we went to star wars weekends once, in 2009, and were severely let down by the experience. the stormtroopers on the entrance were the best part of anything. they didn’t have a star wars parade- i think it was still stars and cars parade, or maybe pixar, but either way, it wasn’t star wars. we would have been all over a character meal if there had been one offered but i don’t believe there was. and we were really looking forward to the disney characters dressed up in star wars garb, but all we saw were chewbacca and darth vader anywhere. we felt like we got a really watered down experience from what was advertised at the time. loved your photos though.
Star Wars Weekends definitely peaked right before they ended. (They also got progressively more popular and busier, so I’m sure autograph-hounds would disagree.)
Maybe someday DHS will be able to handle that level of crowds again, and the event will make a comeback. I doubt it, though.
