World of Color Photos
World of Color is a nighttime water show at Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort. World of Color is held one or more times per night in Paradise Bay, and features colorful water jets, projections of classic Disney animated films (and Pirates of the Caribbean) onto “screens” of water, and various other water and special effects. I’ve previously written a full description and viewing guide for World of Color, so read that if you need for background information or viewing tips. This post is just going to be about pretty pictures! Or, if you’re curious for even more information about World of Color, including construction photos, check out our Disney California Adventure Historical Retrospective.
As we prepare for our Disney California Adventure grand reopening coverage, we thought we’d share some of our favorite photos from World of Color!
In case all of these photos didn’t make it clear, we’re huge World of Color fans. (Nothing beats seeing it in the front row!) If you’re as crazy about World of Color as us, you can also check out our Disney California Adventure Facebook Covers (which include World of Color covers–let me know if you want any of these photos made into Covers–I don’t mind!) and the World of Color Time-Lapse Video I did for TouringPlans.com. And remember, always dream in wonderful color!

amazing pictures! makes me even more excited for my family’s first trip to DL this April. World of Color is one of the attractions I’m most looking forward to… what tips do you have to get front row seats?
Thanks 🙂
If it’s cold, it’ll be easy to get front row seats (make sure to take ponchos). If it’s not cold, try for a night with two shows and DON’T get your FastPasses until later in the day when the second show (or last show, if there are 3 shows) is available. Then, line up relatively early for seating.
Great pictures, as always! You just made me a little bit more excited for my trip to Disneyland in 9 days!
Nice shots. Looks like a fun show. Did you use an ND Filter on these?
