2022 EPCOT Festival of Holidays Food Booth Menus

Walt Disney World has released food booth menus for the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, our second-favorite event of the year in the park! This post shares a full rundown of every new and returning snack, dish, dessert, and drink at the 15 Holiday Kitchens, including the new Nochebuena Cocina.

Unlike the rest of the Christmas season at Walt Disney World, which is already underway, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays at Walt Disney World runs from November 25 until December 30, 2022. These Holiday Kitchens should be open each day from 11 am until park closing, with the food booths located throughout the World Showcase pavilions and beyond.

In essence, Festival of the Holidays is a continuation of EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival, right down to repurposing 15 of the food booths from that event (which ends shortly before Festival of the Holidays starts). Unlike that, the 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays is not primarily about the cuisine–this is not simply the Christmas Food Fest.

Instead, the focus of Festival of the Holidays is decorations, live music, entertainment, family-friendly activities, global Santa Clauses (and other storytellers), and more. You can read about the slate in our 2022 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays Entertainment. Additionally, for all things Candlelight Processional–including the full lineup of narrators and reduced slate of dining packages–see our Guide to 2022 Candlelight Processional at Epcot.

You could spend an entire day in Epcot just enjoying the holiday entertainment without ever purchasing a snack (and we will do exactly that later in the season…well, maybe just one Yule Log). In addition to all of the World Showcase offerings, there are also two Christmas ride overlays in the front of the park: Living with the Land – Merry & Bright Nights and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – Holiday Remix.

Of course, you’ll probably want to round out your day with some festive foods, so here are the newly-released food booth menus for the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays:

That’s a wrap on our preview of the full food booth menus for the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. We’ll be at the event the week after Thanksgiving in order to taste and review all of the new and returning items. (Knock on wood about the “review” part of that, as I have a habit of eating festival foods but not always getting around to writing about them.) We’ll also be visiting throughout the Christmas season to enjoy the entertainment and revisit our favorite foods.

It’s fun to graze from the EPCOT festival booths, but worth noting that these portions are generally small and pricey. There are a few exceptions to this “rule,” and it’s very important (we think) to buy these items first as “stomach filler” before grazing around World Showcase. For Festival of the Holidays, we typically recommend focusing on comfort foods–they’re often the ideal intersection of value and tastiness, albeit safer and less ambitious. In general, Festival of the Holidays has the most approachable cuisine of any EPCOT event.

Finally, we’d stress that you don’t need to purchase anything to have a great time at Epcot this Christmas season. The Holiday Storytellers are a ton of fun, and even Candlelight Processional can be enjoyed without purchasing a dining package–or even without lining up for hours ahead of time. If you choose to do eat your way around World Showcase (or just have a few desserts!), hopefully our resources help you make wise decisions so you don’t waste any money.

YOUR THOUGHTS…

Do you have any favorite snacks from the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays? Do you typically focus on foods, entertainment, decorations, or a mixture of the above at the Christmas-time EPCOT event? What are you looking forward to trying at the Holiday Kitchen food booths during the 2022 Festival of the Holidays? Any questions? Hearing from you is half the fun, so please share your thoughts in the comments!
