Our First Disneyland Christmas Trip Report

Disneyland ResortDisneyland (park)Main Street, USAThe Disneyland Christmas tree is visible in the foreground while there appears to be a certain bokeh'd castle in the distance! ;) For more tips, information, and photos of Disneyland, visit my blog: https://www.disneytouristblog.com/

This trip report includes photos and commentary from our first trip to Disneyland at Christmas. Join us on our Christmas Expedition, as we dine at Club 33, photograph Disney time-lapse videos, eat our way through Disneyland’s holiday snacks, experience Haunted Mansion Holiday and “it’s a small world” holiday for the first times(!), rain blows upon other Guests as we try to get the last dolls for our sons in the Emporium, and engage in many other dangerous adventures (minus on the danger) at Disneyland during the Christmas and Festivus seasons!

We hope you join us on this terrific* trip report! There will be plenty of laughs (at my expense), tears (you’ll certainly mourn the loss of the time you lose by reading this), and joy (once you quit reading!) along the way. Bookmark this page as it will be where we organize the updates in one convenient location. Links will become active as the Parts are posted.

Part I – A Silent First-Night…A Haunted (Mansion Holiday) First Morning
Part II – “it’s a small trip report installment” holiday
Part III – Believe… In Holiday Magic (But Don’t Believe In Your Ability To Crash A Private Party!)
Part IV – A Dreary Morning of “Ultimate” Touring
Part V – Shooting up Disneyland with the DLP Mafia
Part VI – In Da Club (33)
Part VII – The SUITED UP Bros Life Disneyland Resort Bar Crawl
Part VIII – And it rained…and it rained…and it rained…
Part IX – The Wonderful World of Color (Coloooooor)
Part X – See Ya Real Soon!

*Okay, maybe we’re playing fast and loose with the term “terrific.” Worth noting is that this report will ultimately span many, many pages of text. Ever read Bleak House? Expect something similarly bleak (much like Dickens, I’m paid by the word, so there’s a lot of filler!).

Disneyland ResortDisneyland (park)Haunted Mansion HolidayThe exterior queue and stretching room set a foreboding tone for Haunted Mansion Holiday, but the rest of it is (mostly) whimsical rather than ominous.
