Cyber Monday Week 2018 Disney & Travel Deals

Cyber Week Deals roll on through the weekend with sales and discounts on all things Disney and travel: gadgets, toys, Christmas sweaters, spirit jerseys, books and other media. In this post, we round up the best deals for Walt Disney World and Disneyland fans, separating the best hot deals from the everyday savings with a regularly-updated list that’ll save you time and money as you do your holiday shopping.

If you’ve followed this blog for a while, you know that we’re absolutely suckers for good deals. On “Cyber Monday Eve,” I stayed up until midnight last night waiting for a deal on a Playstation 4 bundle at Wal-Mart (that I ultimately did not get, despite constant refreshing) and I woke up around 3:30 a.m. as Sarah was in the middle of buying a new end table.

Suffice to say, Cyber Monday Deals Week has me like a kid on Christmas morning, putting together this list. Well, putting together this list and buying a lot of “To Tom, From Tom” things…so in a sense, this really is like Christmas morning for me! Anyway, there are some exceptional deals this year, so we should dig into those!

Some of the discounted stuff we’re sharing is Disney merchandise, whereas other things are practical items and gadgets that will come in handy on Walt Disney World or Disneyland vacations. We’ll update this post throughout the day, adding and removing things as deals go live or sell-out…

Best Overall Cyber Monday Deals

Amazon’s Cyber Monday Deals — As always, the absolute best Cyber Monday deals are at Amazon. I don’t know if they coined the term “Cyber Monday,” but they pretty much define it and account for most of the best deals today (and all week long, since they’re turning this into “Cyber Week.”)

Disney Parks Ticket Deals – Score Disneyland tickets for up to $95 off each (extended through Wednesday!), Walt Disney World tickets for up to $75 off each, and the Asia parks for 10% off. This link offers a run-down of where to find all of the best deals on Disney Parks tickets around the world!

Holiday Deals on ShopDisney — For Disney toys and collectibles, the go-to place for discounts is going to be Disney directly, and while most of Cyber Monday sale–which has previously extended–is now over, a lot of deals remain in their holidays department and Sale Section.

Here are some of the specific Cyber Monday (Week) deals we’ve found for Disney fans and travel enthusiasts…

DISNEY Clothing & Accessories

40% Off “Ugly” Christmas Sweaters – Ugly is truly in the eye of the beholder, as I think the $16 Mickey Mouse sweater is pretty striking, as is the $14 R2D2 sweater. Sure, there are some hideous designs featured in this sale, but most of the Disney brands are just fun, playful designs you could wear to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Mickey Mouse Watch ($21) — I like the all-grey design here. A playful design that’s classy and not too eye-catching. Be sure to use the coupon for an extra $9 savings at checkout!

Disney Princess Fantasy Nightgowns ($13.50 and up) – Select fashion is 30% off on Amazon, and a variety of these princess dresses are discounted even beyond that.

Travel Gadgets & Accessories

Mission Enduracool Towel ($3) – We still prefer Frogg Toggs as a way to stay cool on hot and humid days at Walt Disney World. However, at only ~$2.50 (83% off), this is a great deal–especially if you don’t like the residue of Frogg Toggs.

Anker PowerCore Lite 10000mAh Portable Charger ($20) – Use promotional code POWERLT2 for $13.60 off, which makes it $20.39 after coupon. It’s one of the slimmest and lightest 10000 mAh portable chargers, providing 2.5 charges for Galaxy S9 or iPhone X.

Ultra Compact 8000mAh External Charger ($12) – A pocket-sized phone charger that has very good capacity–enough to charger multiple phones and get a family through a day in the parks.

4-Port Travel USB Hub ($17) – A more economical deal on a USB hub, albeit one that isn’t as nice. Be sure to clip the coupon on the product page for an additional 5% off!

Lightweight Travel Backpack ($18) – Another good deal (for the 20L size in most colors), this super lightweight bag is perfect for a day bag in the parks, and will easily pack into your luggage. (There’s also this one for $16, but the quality isn’t as nice.)

Disney Books & Movies

Save $5 on Any Book — Amazon has a $5 off deal. Use code NOVBOOK18 to save $5 on any $20 book purchase! You can use that for any book–this coupon has been extended, and now expires at 11:59 p.m. (PT) December 1, 2018.

Frozen: A Pop-Up Adventure ($22) – Get this elaborate pop-up book for 44% off.

Thomas Kinkade 2019 Disney Calendar ($10) — Kinkade’s Disney work is super-popular (it’s all over the Art of Disney stores), and somehow this calendar counts as a book, so you could order a couple of these and apply the $5 off coupon!

5-Minute Princess Stories ($6) — At 56% off this popular Disney book, you’re getting a really good deal on a stocking stuffer.

The Disney Book: A Celebration of the Worlds of Disney ($20) – A treasure trove of material from the Walt Disney Archives spanning a range of topics, including concept art, original story sketches, merchandise, a range of movie posters, and collectibles.

Disney Toys

Thomas Kinkade The Disney Collection 4 in 1 Multipack Puzzles ($18)4 puzzles in 1 package, with 500 pieces per puzzle! Two of these feature Mickey & Minnie Mouse, with Snow White and Pocahontas rounding out the collection in dreamy landscape scenery!

Disney Eye Found It Card Game ($6) — A card game version of the standard board game that we normally recommend—and an even better deal (40% off).

Ravensburger Disney Castle 3D Puzzle ($31) – This 3D puzzle of Sleeping Beauty Castle made the list last year, and this year it’s an even better deal at 40% off!

Candy Land Disney Princess Edition ($20) – At 49% off, this game–where the goal is to reach the castle–featuring Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Ariel is a great option for the princess-lovers on your holiday shopping list!

PHOTOGRAPHY

Sony a7IIK Mirrorless Camera with 28-70mm Lens ($998) — As you might know, I jumped back into mirrorless this year with the Sony a7III. This camera is the previous gen, and is still incredibly capable. If you want a smaller camera to take excellent photos, getting this for 43% off is an absolutely killer deal!

Nikon D3500 DSLR Camera with 18-55mm and 70-300mm Lenses ($497) — Objectively, I don’t think this is as good of a deal as the entry-level Canon, but if it were me, I’d rather buy this camera. At $350 off, it’s a great deal.

Canon Rebel T6 DSLR with 18-55mm & 75-300mm Lenses ($399) — I prefer Nikon, but I know a good deal when I see it, and this 47% package is a fantastic deal on a DSLR starter kit.

Nikon D7500 4K DSLR with 18-55mm & 70-300mm Lenses & Case ($899) — A few things to note about this exceptional camera. First, it’s refurbished but it’s being offered by an authorized Nikon seller and includes a 90-day warranty from Nikon. Second, the savings are way more than 27% off. New, the camera by itself is $1,150. This is a great deal on a serious DSLR.

Okay, that’s it for right now. There are a bunch of other great deals…and far more even “meh” offers. We recommend opening the Amazon Cyber Monday Deals homepage, and browsing the ‘Deals of the Day’ and the ‘Lightning Deals’ for yourself a bit. There are several great deals in both categories, but that doesn’t pertain to Disney, so it’s not listed here…
