Disney Deals for Prime Day
There are a number of Disney deals for Prime Day. What’s Prime Day? Basically, Black Friday for people who are too lazy to leave the house. Amazon, you get me. 😉
In this post, I’ve aggregated a bunch of the best deals, available today-only, for Disney fans. Some of these are Disney-specific items (like this Mickey Mouse Waffle Maker), whereas others are non-Disney things (like this TravelPro Suitcase); practical items that would be very useful for Walt Disney World or Disneyland vacations.
Alright, here are some of the best deals for Disney fans I’ve spotted thus far…
Note that we’ve combed through the various deals and compared them to prices elsewhere because, honestly, some of the Prime Day “deals” aren’t so hot. Some things feel more like a garage sale of stuff Amazon couldn’t otherwise sell.
Poster Art of the Disney Parks – With discount code PRIMEBOOKS17 (which is good for $5 off any book purchase over $15), this works out to being over 50% off. Great deal on a great book!
Disney Women’s Character Socks – These character socks are fun, and with an extra 30% off, they’re fairly cheap, too.
Disney Princess Dress Up Trunk – We’ve heard a ton of good things about this. Even at full price, this costs a fraction of the price of dresses in the parks; it’s a huge bargain!
TravelPro Crew11 Suitcase – TravelPro is the only brand of suitcase I recommend (see my Luggage Tips & Recommendations post). It’s the most popular brand with flight attendants, and for good reason–mine still looks brand new after years of heavy use. This is an insanely good deal on a great suitcase.
Cooling Towel – We’ve never used this particular cooling towel (we love the Frogg Toggs ones), but we are huge fans as a way to stay cool on hot and humid days at Walt Disney World. Plus, at only $2.99 (that’s the actual price at checkout–not just 50% off), we’re going to give this one a shot. Added UV protection and free lip balm sweetens the deal.
Aukey USB Charging Hub – There are never enough power outlets in hotel rooms, and given that most devices nowadays charge via USB, this is a great solution to that problem. Save an additional 20% at checkout.
Mickey Mouse Waffle Maker – I’m not sure you can say a Mickey-shaped waffle maker is an “essential” item, but…for Disney fans, it really is.
The Disney Book – Great hardcover book with some beautiful illustrations.
GoPro Session Bundle – We have a GoPro and, honestly, I never really got into it. However, others love using them at the parks, and this is a great price!
Mickey Mouse Plaid PJs – Okay, so these look totally dorky, but they are *perfect* to wear to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Not even kidding. Of course, they’re also practical for lounging around at home in the winter months.
Mickey Mouse Christmas Sweater – Speaking of things to wear to MVMCP, at 30% an already low price, this is perfect.
Packing Cubes – I always recommend these cubes in our Ultimate Disney Packing Guide, and these are a slightly better deal today than normal. Amazon claims they’re 25% off, but they are almost always 20% off, so you’re really only saving an extra 5%. Still, better than nothing.
Huffy Disney Frozen Bike, Frosty Teal Blue – If you’re in the market for a kids bike, this is a smoking deal. It’s already discounted, and then there’s another 40% off taken at checkout!
Okay, that’s it for right now. There are a bunch of other great deals…and far more even “meh” offers. We recommend opening the Amazon Prime Day homepage, and browsing for yourself a bit. Just be mindful of the fact that some of these offers are time-sensitive, so you don’t want to spend too much time procrastinating and end up losing out!
Also, check back here throughout the deal, as I’ll share more Lightning Deals as they become available if they’re any good. Oh, and if you find anything that you think would be useful for other Disney fans, please share in the comments below!
Grab the cooling towel now. With prime day instead of 15.99 it is 2.99! We got one for each of us for Disney for less than the cost of one!! Thank you!!!
I ordered a bunch of other things when I got mine and didn’t do the math until just now…you’re right, $2.99! Just ordered a couple more. 🙂
Thanks for pointing this out, Beth! I was able to grab one for my vacation week after next.
Thanks for the heads-up in the Frozen bike!! I just ordered it for my granddaughter-her birthday’s not until next May but it was too good to pass up. We’re planning a family trip to WDW in November, we booked at CBR while they were having the $75 gift card promo, unfortunately, we missed the free dining but we were getting it anyway, with 13 of us in 3 rooms there will be plenty of gift card spending $$ for tips and shopping! Thanks for that info back in March.
I enjoyed so much reading of your Norwegian adventures. I have family there and visit every 3 years or so and the weather is usually wonderful when I am there but my cousins tell me there is no such thing as bad weather-only bad clothes. Last time we went to a Norway Cup soccer match in the pouring rain and stayed completely dry in my IKEA poncho-we all had a great time rain and all! You had my mouth watering for skolbrod!!
Thanks again for all your planning tips!
You’re welcome. Love your cousin’s advice that there’s no bad weather, just bad clothes. Ha!
Tell them to visit Florida in August when it’s 95º with 100% humidity. They might change their mind about the ‘no bad weather’ line. 😉
Just got the waffle maker. Thanks!!
Totally bought the waffle maker.
Just ordered the Travel Pro suitcase. Thanks for the heads up!
Thank you so much for this post! I was looking through today to find some deals, but I wouldn’t have found the suitcase without this post, and I was in the market for one for my father who is still using the luggage he purchased in 1985 (no joke). I think it’s time for an upgrade now that luggage comes with those newfangled wheels, and after seeing the price on this he finally agreed.
Prime Day, one of my most anticipated ‘days”. Thanks for being on top of this Tom. Just ordered an Amazon 7″ Fire through Alexa for $23 (after $10 discount off sale price for using Alexa to order).
Speaking of Alexa, I’d like to let your readers know that one of the best offers (IMO) today on Prime is the Amazon Echo, which normally sells for $180, but today is just $90. If you were thinking of getting an Echo, now is the time to do it. Alexa also makes it easier to order everything on your Disney Packing List. That said, the Mickey Mouse waffle iron is next on my list.
We have gone back and forth on the Amazon Echo, but haven’t yet pulled the trigger on it. We love our Firestick, so it seems maybe this is the next logical addition for us.
Thanks for the recommendation! 🙂
It’s hard to beat that price for the Fire. But I’ve had one (via my daughter) for a few years and really don’t like the amazon ecosystem. So I bought a Home (also on sale today for a good price) instead of the Echo.
I wish everyone would talk to everyone else (i.e. stream Amazon Music or iTunes on you Home and vice versa), but we don’t live in that world yet.
We love our Echo Dot!! Seriously have thought about purchasing another one. We have prime, and we have Amazon Music, we can stream music for hours, any genre, any song. It is great for parties. It can also stream radio, in the summer we sit outside and have it stream baseball games. We set our alarms on the Dot, before you fall asleep, you just ask it to set you an alarm. It also plays white noise or calming sounds, like ocean, babbling brook, rain, thunderstorm, etc. (this was a life saver with our dogs during the 4th with all the fireworks. We just turned on the thunderstorm and had them in a room with a fan on and they stopped shaking because it drowned out the fireworks). They always come out with new skills for it to do, so we are always figuring out more stuff for it to do. The volume is very loud. It will fill a whole level of our house (1700 sf) if we are playing music, and we use it in the backyard for BBQs, and our lot is 10,000 sf. And it is so portable we take it on vacation, and move it to different locations in our house, or outside. Our in laws have the echo tower, and it is louder, so depending on how loud you want the speakers, that’s the difference. The Echo Dot works fine for us at the cheaper price, from one consumer to another.
Thanks for the recommendations on the Echo v. Dot. We ended up ordering the Echo…along with the Philips Hue. I’ve wanted that for a long time and am really looking forward to it!
American Tourister child roll suitcases are 30% off too! I got a Disney princess one for my daughter
