Disney Hotel Reviews
Planning a Disney vacation to figure out where to stay? We have reviews & info about Disney hotels, with pros and cons, room photos, and various tips about the different resort hotels at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Tokyo Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris.
This page provides links to our Disney hotel reviews and resources, organized by destination. In our reviews, we have photos of the common areas of the hotels and the guest rooms, plus what each offers in terms of amenities. We also discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each hotel in our reviews, with our take as to whether they are worth the money.
Finally, we try to put ourselves in the shoes of others and objectively review the hotels, providing an idea of what type of guests (families with kids, honeymooners, etc.) will like or dislike each hotel. Just because a hotel with giant Finding Nemo characters standing outside isn’t most appealing to us doesn’t mean it isn’t #1 for families–and we feel it’s important to keep other types of guests in mind as we review each hotel.
Over the last several years, we have stayed at every on-site hotel at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, plus dozens of non-Disney hotels near the parks in Orlando and Anaheim. In terms of international Disney hotels, we haven’t stayed at all of them (yet), but we have toured them all and have info and thoughts about these hotels, as well. Our Disney hotel reviews all cover our first-hand experiences, so they are consistent (for better or worse) and based on a lot of first-hand experience with a wide array of hotels.
With that, let’s take a look at some of our hotel reviews & resources for Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Paris, and Hong Kong Disneyland…
Walt Disney World Hotel Reviews – With over two dozen on-site hotels, Walt Disney World has more hotels than all other Disney Parks destinations combined. With stayed in them all, plus a lot of the most popular non-Disney hotels (both on-property and off). Our Walt Disney World Hotel Reviews page covers capsule reviews of each hotel, with links to all of our individual hotel reviews, hotel rankings, and other popular articles concerning the resort hotels of Walt Disney World.
Disneyland Hotel Reviews & Rankings – While Disneyland only has 3 Disney hotels, there are tons of hotels within walking distance of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure that offer great lodging alternatives. Well, some of them. Unfortunately, the quality is really hit or miss. We have braved the sketchy ones, and also the nice ones, as we attempt to stay in, rank, and review every popular hotel near Disneyland in Anaheim. So far, we are up to nearly 30!
Tokyo Disneyland Hotel Reviews – Being the most ‘exotic’ of the Disney destinations around the globe, planning a trip to Tokyo Disney Resort can be difficult, as can choosing a hotel. Some hotels are Eastern style and unfamiliar to Westerners and others charge by person as opposed to the room. We cover the common choices in this post, as well as the less-common ones that might be great alternatives for those on a budget.
Disneyland Paris Hotel Reviews & Info – With the second-most Disney hotels of any destination (behind Walt Disney World), there are a lot of options at Disneyland Paris. Many of them are pretty pricey and because of that, we’ve been reluctant to stay at them, but we have made a point to tour them all in order to offer some of what we view to be the pros and cons of each.
Alright, that covers it for our worldwide Disney Parks hotel review pages. Hopefully this page helped you find the resources you need to determine where to stay on your Disney vacation!

This is something good”” “Disney Hotel Reviews” While Disneyland simply has 3 Disney motels, there are gigantic measures of motels within walking division of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure that offer exceptional inn decisions. Taking all things into account, some of them.
Great roundup…
Thanks for sharing your review, as it really helps us out to find which one will be suitable for us.
Nice to bump into you both on pirates. Hope you didn’t mind my awkward/fangirl (*delete as appropriate!) moment. Saying: ‘hi, I recognise you from the Internet,’ is probably weird. And I actually didn’t say what I intended to, which is basically that; people like me – part of the Disney fandom community – really appreciate you sharing your knowledge and stunning photos! Hope you enjoyed your late night photo session!
Great roundup…. however, am I totally blind or is Hong Kong not actually in this list?
@Tom Bricker
While Disneyland just has 3 Disney inns, there are huge amounts of inns inside of strolling separation of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure that offer extraordinary hotel choices. All things considered, some of them.

We love Animal Kingdom Lodge – this for us hands down is the best themed resort, has the best dining, and we love it at Christmas time. We are headed back for our fourth stay in November and can’t wait to have a zebra dome!
I keep hoping for an Animal Kingdom review as I have never been to WDW before and that is where I’m staying this winter but your Comment has me excited about my choice. Thank you Angela.
