Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Legends of Hollywood
I love the bits of classic Hollywood present throughout Sunset and Hollywood Boulevards at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. From the neon to the references to the incredible detail, these two streets are the highlight of the Studios. Given their quality, these areas should help set the tone for the rest of the park. That doesn’t always seem to be the case, and although there are aspects of Disney’s Hollywood Studios I absolutely love, I think its wheels begin to fall off, so to speak, when looking at the park as a whole. Despite it having some of Walt Disney World’s best and most popular attractions, it doesn’t seem like as complete of a park as Epcot or the Magic Kingdom. We enjoy spending time at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but I really wish efforts would be made to make the park more cohesive. As it stands, I think the whole is definitely less than the sum of its parts.

I agree with you 100%. Hollywood Studios is my least favorite park at WDW these days. Although, like you mentioned, it has some GREAT attractions, it just doesn’t feel like a complete park anymore. With the backlot tour scrapped to basically nothing except catastophe canyon, it doesn’t really get the feel of a “working studio” anymore. When Superstar Television and the Monster Sound Stage were still around, it just felt so much more like a complete park.
