Empty Disney World Hub – Disney Photo of the Day
The Hub in the Magic Kingdom at night is a truly special place, and a place I could sit for hours upon hours without ever wanting to ride a single attraction. I wanted to capture the great ambiance of the hub with this shot, and show the things I love the most about the hub: Cinderella Castle, the Fab Five (plus Chip and Dale) statues, the Walt Disney & Mickey Mouse “Partners” statue by Blaine Gibson, and the gorgeous view to the entrance of Tomorrowland. It’s all great. While this isn’t my favorite shot for a few reasons, I love the feeling that it captures, despite its flaws. What do you think?

I think this is beautiful. I saw it on my cell at work the other day and had to come back for a better look. It’s just a great shot of a MK that hardly anyone ever sees. So still and peaceful. Great capture!
I like it, at least for what you were hoping to capture. I think the left side (distortion) throws it off though. I’m wondering what you didn’t like about it.
Tom, your flawed pics are way better then my best! I so enjoy your shots! You can’t post enough for me to enjoy! Thanks!
S T U N N I N G! I’m jealous. It has an intimate quality. I love the phrase “Have a Magical Day” looks like you had a Magical Night! Lucky you!
I think the shot is lovely, no flaws that I can see, and it does capture MK in a way I’ve never seen it. How late did you stay to get the shot?
