EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival Food Photos, Booth Menus & Reviews

Basically, everything you need to know about eating your way around World Showcase and the best & worst savory snacks, decadent desserts, and drinks.
This year, Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival runs from March 1 through July 5, 2023 at Walt Disney World. Let’s start with our individual booth reviews for each of the Outdoor Kitchens. These include menus, food photos, prices, what’s recommended, not worth the money, and more:

Note: These food booth reviews are not yet updated for the 2023 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, which is because the event has yet to begin. Once it starts, we’ll be spending several days towards the beginning of the festival taste-testing familiar favorites and new additions, and re-reviewing everything. Check back in mid-March 2023 for updated reviews. In the meantime, the above reviews should be about 90% accurate.
Outdoor Kitchen food booths are all located throughout the World Showcase pavilions, Future World, and the World ShowPlace event center, just like the marketplaces at the EPCOT festivals before them.
The 2023 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival has several additions, as the lineup has grown by 5 booths from that event to 20 Outdoor Kitchens. That’s still a smaller slate than normally featured at the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, the park’s flagship culinary event.
The newest Outdoor Kitchens are the EPCOT Sunshine Griddle offering brunch items, and EPCOT Farmers Feast, which will feature a rotating seasonal menu of local ingredients throughout the festival. As noted above with our “Best of the Fest” label, EPCOT Sunshine Griddle is our favorite Outdoor Kitchen. There’s also a different design for the popular Orange Bird sipper–expect long lines for Citrus Blossom the first couple weeks of the event as every diehard Walt Disney World fan buys one, and every eBay pirate buys one-hundred.
Returning to EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival is the Garden Graze, a food stroll highlighting five offerings listed in the Festival Passport. Upon your Garden Graze purchase, you will receive a stamp for your Festival Passport. Once you’ve collected all five stamps, bring your Festival Passport to Pineapple Promenade Outdoor Kitchen to receive a complimentary prize exclusive to the festival. Complete the Garden Graze at your leisure, and you can even bring back your stamped Festival Passport to EPCOT at any time during the festival to complete your Garden Graze.

YOUR THOUGHTS
Do you have any favorite savory snacks, decadent desserts, or beautiful beverages from the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival? Any least favorite items? Do you think the food is worth the high price tags given the attention to detail, or is it all still overpriced? What are you looking forward to trying at the Outdoor Kitchen food booths? Any questions? Hearing from you is half the fun, so please share your thoughts in the comments!
Hi!
The link for the Citrus Blossom review is taking me to the 2020 review, but I’m wondering if the pork belly dish is worth trying!
Chelsi: “Question… Does this food festival have some sort of ‘”passport” like the Food & Wine festival has? My husband and I love to use those to mark up while we taste all the great dishes.” They usually have the passport booklet at the entrance to the park, either at the International Gateway or the front entrance. And you might be able to pick up a booklet at other spots as well.
Question… Does this food festival have some sort of ‘”passport” like the Food & Wine festival has? My husband and I love to use those to mark up while we taste all the great dishes.
Hello! We were just at Jardin de Fiestas this week and here are our thoughts ……
Tostadas – tasty! A tiny bit of spice, but nothing a mid-west mild palate can’t handle.
Taco Vampiro – you had me at crispy cheese. I fully intend to make all my tacos this way in the future. A big favorite.
Sope – I could only try a baby bite (soy allergy) but DH and I agree – very salty! The Festival Salt Cures rears its ugly head.
Tulum Mexican Craft Beer – meh on its own, but pairs really well with the food. Saved the too-salty sope.
Sparkling Apple Soda (not on placard or web menu) very tasty, crisp and refreshing. Highly recommend.
Hello! We were just at Cider House and we have some thoughts, take them for what they are worth and — as is often mentioned — food quality can vary widely based on who is working, how busy they are, and how long the item sits under the heat lamp!
Potato and Cheddar Biscuit with Salmon Tartare – OMG so good! If you like smoked salmon at all you must get this. Good portion size and supper tasty.
Cider Flight – Pink Lemonade – light and bright, my favorite; Watermelon – light with hints of watermelon; Triple Jam – fruity, rich, my husbands favorite.
Hello! We were just at Flavor Full Kitchen and we have some thoughts, take them for what they are worth and – as is often mentioned – food quality can vary widely based on who is working, how busy they are, and how long the item sits under the heat lamp!
Grilled baby vegetables – meh. Not bad, not worth the price.
Salmon – had potential but the salmon was overcooked and the Farro Risotto did not resemble risotto at all. Pass.
Strawberry mousse – okay. Overly sweet (as so many WDW desserts are).
Blood Orange Agua Fresca – tasty! Like really high end kool-aid. Sweet, but not cloying so. I would order again.
Hey Tom,
Thanks for all your food booth reviews so far. Just wondering if you plan on reviewing the rest of the booths still? I love to read them and plan which ones to definitely try and which ones to skip. Thanks!
Where do you get the popsical trio!?!
We are going to WDW over the week of Easter and my mouth is watering reading all of these menus. We are staying at BCV and have park hopper passes, so our plan is to hit EPCOT almost every afternoon/evening. I can’t wait.
And there is a special place reserved in purgatory for eBay pirates.
Did Tom write about eBay in the article? Or was that just a random comment you made in your comment. My eBay account got hacked yesterday, 3/3. Had to cancel my credit card and supposedly eBay cancelled my account. Today I get notification several orders have shipped. WTH? And I can login to the account with the new password I set up…….before I just decided to shut it down because they said it was such a sophisticated hack. eBay makes it so hard to report fraud.
Hi Tom! Any word on how often the EPCOT Farmers Feast will rotate their menu? I must admit, its giving me major FOMO vibes!
This will be our first good festival. We’re coming in early June. Are there and posts or newbies anywhere that have menus, prices, guidance for newbs, etc? I am a compulsive planner so always research prior to any trip
I always look forward to your food reviews! If I’m vaccinated in time I’ll be there mid-April. If not mid-May. And if not my plan is the first week of July to catch the tail end! It’s my favorite Epcot festival of the year.
Tom, my husband and I are going to the festival early March. Last time we attended an Epcot food & wine event, we literally nibbled and sipped the entire day. I’m pretty sure we always had food or drink in our hands as we strolled around the park. How are these festivals working with masks? Are there enough spots to stop and eat if we plan on working our way around the booths? I’m assuming strolling around w/food and drink isn’t a thing anymore.
Not Tom, but I’ve been to Epcot recently. They have temporary tables set up just about everywhere, especially by the food booths. People also take advantage of the normal eating areas and benches, and it’s also okay to just find a socially-distanced place to stand out of the walkway. I thought it would be annoying to do this, but it’s actually nice to pause for a few minutes to eat and take in the ambiance of each area.
We’ve been to Food & Wine in Oct and Nov, Fest of Holidays in Dec and Fest of Arts in Jan. You can’t just walk around eating and drinking. You have to find a bench to sit or stand at a table (or a trash can if no tables are available) to enjoy your purchase. Once you finish, you have to put your mask back on before you leave your table to go to the next booth. You have to wear a mask to order and pick up your items. No strolling and eating and drinking without being called out by a CM. Tables are all spaced apart and you cannot offer to share a table with another group. We often bought a bottle of water at several booths, but were not able to walk and take a drink. It was buy food and drink, sit down or stand to consume, remove mask to enjoy, put mask back on and get up to walk to the next area.
We are meeting friends at Epcot Saturday, Feb 27th. Will there be no snacks at booths since it’s between festivals? That’s going to be strange, and a bummer. We are passholders so we will go later when the festival is up and running, but it’s our only chance to meet up with some FL friends who are up here from Ft. Lauderdale.
You hit the weekend between festivals, so no food booths will be open other than the counter service locations that are normally open.
We went with our friends on Saturday, 2/27 and we ended up eating at Spice Road Table after about a 30 minute wait after being quoted 45 minutes. Not many options and every option had a significant wait. It was a beautiful day and we were glad to see out friends and they loved Spice Road Table.
We went back today, March 4th, and all the booths were open since the festival had started. Excellent selections! We got too full to try everything that looked good. We were very, very pleased with the food that was available!
Soooo does this mean you’ll be there on opening day, and if so, what does it take to arrange for a many years out of state reader to get to say a quick (socially distanced!) hello??! I don’t want to rearrange your day by any means, but an in person hi would be so fun!
For what it’s worth, I read every review about the International Food and Wine festival booths prior to my trip last July. It helped me strategize what to try and what not to try! So…it was appreciated, even if the star dish ended up being mac n’ cheese!
Northern Bloom (Canada) usually has some good choices, so we’ll be stopping there. But I will miss the Lobster Tail from Citrus Blossom. If you want the orange lemon smoothie, you can order it without the souvenir cup for a lot less. I’ll also be stopping to get the Crawfish Étouffée with Andouille Sausage and Dirty Rice. I miss crawfish.
Tom, going to F&G opening day this year and we haven’t been to a F&G in… a very very very long time. Before they turned it into a food festival too. What would you recommend as things to must try based on prior years? Thanks!
Some broad strokes/general rules:
-Anything from Canada, France, or Honey Bee-stro
-Nothing from Italy or China; Mexico is usually a miss
We also really like that funnel cake. Others love the violet lemonade, but I’m not a fan.
I’m struggling to come up with more specifics than that. Last year’s event was honestly a blur, quickly overshadowed by the closure.
We agree that avoiding Italy is a good idea, we’ve always been disappointed. I keep hoping they’ll step it up, but we’ll wait for the Brickers to be our canaries before we eat there again.
Honey bee-stro has been the best o’ the fest (IMO) the past few years.
We will be heading right to Honey Bee-stro for the honey peach freeze – our favorite item!
Any news on the Easter Cakes that Disney usually displays at the resorts during spring/Easter time?
