How to Get a Free WDW Christmas eBook!
We’re proud to announce that the our free downloadable PDF guide to the holidays at Walt Disney World, titled Vacation Kingdom at Christmas, is available for you to enjoy!
Please note that new editions of Vacation Kingdom at Christmas are released at the start of each holiday season, after we’ve had the chance to experience new offerings and compile tips for them. The 2019 update to our free Walt Disney World Christmas eBook is NOW AVAILABLE!
The 2019 edition of Vacation Kingdom at Christmas features the new Animal Kingdom holiday entertainment (Merry Menagerie is majestic!) and winter-themed projection show, the new Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks spectacular, and everything else that’s new. Sadly, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is not decked out for Life Day this year!
If you want a copy of this totally free Walt Disney World Christmas eBook, all you need to do is subscribe to our newsletter and you will automatically receive a link to download the eBook.
If you’re a tough sell and “free” is not enough, here’s our pitch for the eBook:
- 100 Pages
- ~200 Photos
- Info, Tips & Tricks for Christmas in WDW Parks
- 1-Day Free Yuletide Resort/Disney Springs Tour Itinerary
- History of Christmas at Walt Disney World
All you need to do to get the eBook is sign up for our (also free) email newsletter, which contains news & rumors, updates, info on the latest discounts, and more. That’s it. If you’re not already signed up, you can do so below:
We do not sell your information to spammers or anyone else. You only have to tolerate our email, which many readers find quite useful. Once you sign up, you’ll be asked to confirm your subscription, after which you’ll receive a ‘welcome’ email which includes a link to the eBooks’ (plural) download page.
In addition to our 3 free eBooks we give to newsletter subscribers, we also provide information when new promotions and discounts are released, free downloadable phone wallpapers, the latest Disney news & rumors, updates from the blog, and much more!
Here’s a look at a few pages from the current Vacation Kingdom at Christmas eBook:
If you need up-to-the-minute info in addition to our Christmas eBook, we update our Ultimate Guide to Christmas 2019 at Walt Disney World to offer planning advice multiple times throughout the holiday season. Much of what you’ll find in the Vacation Kingdom at Christmas eBook also appears in that mega-post.
Each year, we spend over a dozen hours refreshing and expanding upon the guide, which is now 10 pages longer than last year’s edition. Given that we removed a few pages that were no longer relevant, that’s roughly 15 new pages, along with about 50 new photos.
We’ve been doing this eBook for the last several years, but due to releasing the previous edition before we had a chance to fully experience the then-new Epcot International Festival of the Holidays or Flurry of Fun at Disney’s Hollywood Studios–and neglecting to do a subsequent update later in Walt Disney World’s Christmas season, we had a lot of new (to the eBook) ground to cover.
In addition to tackling those topics in full, we also provide info and tips for familiar favorites like Candlelight Processional and the aforementioned Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. We also revisit the Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs (it has improved since our previous, scathing review!), Jingle Bell Jingle BAM!, Minnie’s Holiday Dine, and much more.
It’s pretty easy to download these Walt Disney World eBooks if you just pay attention and actually read the emails you receive and the instructions on the download page, but many people end up having questions. We are happy to answer the questions and provide support for those who have attempted to follow the instructions and, for reasons beyond their control, been unable to download any of the eBooks.

I’m also having trouble getting the free Christmas ebook. I subscribed months ago, confirmed my email, checked spam, clicked on the first paragraph link. Even emailed you. We are headed there December 24-30, 2021. Would love a copy of your book. Help. 😉 thank you so much. I read every single update and LOVE the info. Our first Disney trip and the posts have the easiest to understand.
I already subscribed to your newsletter. How do I receive the download? I know it will be a lot of good information for my trip!
Thanks for subscribing me! I’ve received your Pandora e-book and am loving it! I’m working on the Christmas one now. This is so cool that you offer it! :o). Thank you
I don’t recall ever getting a link for the Christmas e-book. I’ve been a subscriber for a while now and am wondering what to do to get the link. We have a trip planned for Dec 5-12, 2020. Help!
Thanks for all the research you do!! I always read your newsletters and will be downloading for 2020 trip. Can’t wait to see if they offer any discounts!!!! This will probably be my last trip, 65th birthday and I want to squeeze out all the magic I can! Love Christmas and born on Christmas Day so definitely want the guide!!!!
Hello, i subscribe 2 days earlier and i didn’t receive the Christmas eBook yet. Is it normal?
Thanks
All I do is go around in circles, I just keep getting sent to the same web pages. Help! We leave Friday (12/13) and I’d love to take the e-book with me.
Hi Tom
I love your newsletters…but I don’t see a link to download you Christmas ebook….can you were on the page it would be…I read and reread the link form the email…I can’t seem to find it….we are going down Dec 7 would love to read it..
thanks
I also have not received a link to download the ebook after subscribing, can you help?
I am having the same issue 🙁
I signed up for the newsletter on Nov. 12 and also replied to the email to verify my email address. So far, I have not received a link to the Christmas 2019 book. I even checked the junk email box.
This process is entirely automated–but sometimes emails go to spam or take longer than expected to be delivered.
If you’re still having trouble, feel free to reply to that verification email and I’ll send you the link directly!
Need link to download Christmas book
If you’re an existing subscriber, you should’ve received an email yesterday titled “Our Disney Christmas Party Report, Animal Kingdom’s AWESOME New Merry Menagerie, FREE 2019 Christmas eBook & More!” It’s about halfway down in that.
Im not getting the new links either….
There is no link for the free eBook.
Thank you so much for the ebook. I just downloaded it and it’s beautiful! Why do you give it away for free?
One, because I love Christmas and like being able to present my photos in a way that I consider superior to blog posts.
Second…see all of the complaints here and the lack of “thanks!” (aside from your comment)? Imagine how much worse that’d be if this weren’t free. It’s honestly just not worth the hassle.
Can you please send me the link to download the Christmas e book. I have subscribed twice and still no link. I love your articles and we are thrilled to be going to Disney world for the first time this Christmas.
Hopefully you’ve since had luck, but if not reply to one of your recent emails from the list and I’ll send over your copy!
Hi! I just subscribed tonight and have been reading your articles for a few hours, (in between the trick or treaters!) I’ve already learned so much! We are excitedly going November 16-23! Where is the link for your Christmas book? Thanks so much!
Sent it out earlier this week–hopefully you downloaded your copy already. Have a great trip!
Hi Tom,
I have been a subscriber for over a year. I cannot download your Christmas guide because I am already a subscriber. Is there anyway to overcome this problem? We will be going the first 2 weeks in December and would love to have your guide. Do I need to unsubscribe and then try to subscribe again?
Thanks,
Sue
You’re not the first person to request this, so I’ll start putting the download link in the regular emails again.
(With that said, the updated Christmas eBook will be out before you visit in December–right now it’s just the 2018 edition.)
Thanks!
Same here! Can’t figure out how to get to the download.
Did you receive an email titled “Your First Disney Tourist Blog Newsletter & FREE Disney eBook!” after subscribing? It’ll come immediately after you confirm your email. If you don’t see that, check your spam folder.
If you do see that email, look for the link in the first paragraph that says, “As a ‘Thank You’ for subscribing, please download our Walt Disney World eBooks for free!”
Hope that helps!
Yes Tom we all received that email but the link takes us directly to this page and there is no link on this page to download it. This is starting to look like a scam when dozens of people tell you there is no link and you still refuse to provide one and act like it’s all of us and not you.
I have been having the same issues as above- Have subscribe but no Christmas guide
Already a subscriber, but signed up and still have no link to download the Christmas guide.
I subscribed to your fabulous newsletter several months ago and would like to get the Christmas guide as I am going to WDW in December. But, I can’t get it without resubscribing to the newsletter and even then it keeps asking me if I’m a robot and won’t go any further. Just keep repeating the loop. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Hi I have tried to download the Vacation at Christmas book but I seem to be going around in circles, so I hope you can help
I also haven’t been able to download mine, I would love it if you could help as we’re going on our honeymoon to Disney this Christmas and love all your advice!
