Magic Kingdom Hub Empty Night Photo
Sitting in front of the Castle, whether it be Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland or Cinderella Castle in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, all alone at night is truly special. I am probably beating a dead horse with this, as I gush over being in the parks at night so frequently, but the feeling you get when you’re in the parks once they clear is incredible. It gives me goose bumps just thinking about. You connect with the parks on a different level, and it feels almost as if your senses are heightened. I highly recommend just camping out on a park bench late some night and watching the park pass you by as long as you can. It’s a special experience.
This is a scene I’ve photographed many, many times. Despite photographing it so many times, I still don’t have a good capture of this scene at Walt Disney World. My biggest complaint is the flowers. Compare the ones in this photo to the ones at Disneyland in this photo. Pretty stark difference, right? The trees are also not nearly as beautiful at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. The more beautiful Cinderella Castle does compensate for all this a bit, although the maroon lighting is not my favorite (I’m a fan of the white or light blue). Still, it’s an undeniably beautiful scene. I wish I were there right now, don’t you?!

Hi, I would like to use this photo in our program book and am seeking permission from the original photographer. Please email me to discuss. Thank you.
I love Magic Kingdom when it is empty! Great picture!
After reading about how awesome it is to be in the parks after most everyone has cleared out, it’s on my “must-do” list for September this year. 🙂
And, yes, I DO wish I was there right now . . . 120 days and counting
It should be relatively easy to accomplish in September, especially on a later Extra Magic Hours night. People clear out quickly towards the end of EMH!
