Monorail Racing Through Epcot In Bloom
I’ve done a lot of different perspectives for monorail photos at Epcot, but I had never photographed this one until our February 2012 Walt Disney World trip, nor had I seen anyone else photograph this perspective. I had to get low to the flower bed for this view and wait a few minutes for the monorail, but I think it was worth it! I can’t wait to see the rest of Epcot in bloom during Flower and Garden Festival!
Technical details: single exposure; handheld Nikon D7000 and Rokinon 8mm Fisheye Lens. See our Disney Photography Guide for more photography equipment recommendations.

Great photo! I’m headed to WDW in May, and am currently planning on taking the Canon kit 18-55 and Canon 50mm f/1.8. In your opinion, if I was going to purchase a new lens between now and then, should I upgrade one of those or go ahead and get the Rokinon 8mm fisheye? This will be my first attempt at shooting inside the parks, and since I don’t get to WDW a whole lot, would like to capture at least a few good moments.
Thanks for all that you do with this blog!
What a beautiful shot! I just love your photography!!!
Thanks!
