Radiator Springs Racers Panorama

It’s impossible to get an idea of the scope and scale of Ornament Valley and the Cadillac Mountain Range in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure through photos. This is part–not all–of the mountain range that is visible from behind Flo’s V8 Cafe. I captured this shot from a riser behind Flo’s V8 Cafe that was up on June 14, 2012 for the recording of television segments with the mountains in the background.

In the same general area where I shot this is outdoor seating at Flo’s, which offers similarly impressive views of Ornament Valley and the Radiator Springs Racers cars as they fly past. That outdoor seating is my new favorite “ambiance spot” in any Disney theme park. I could sit there for hours just soaking up the sights and sounds of Cars Land. Give me a Racer 5 IPA and some Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie, and I’m one happy camper back there!
