Top of the World Photo
Staying at Bay Lake Tower for New Year’s was incredible, not just because it made entering and exiting the Magic Kingdom for naps easy as crowds fluctuated, but also because of the exceptional views it offered. Out of our room, we could see Spaceship Earth and a number of other icons in the distance. From the Top of the World lounge, we had this view of the Magic Kingdom, which offered incredible views of the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks.
This view of the fireworks was a HUGE plus, as it gave us a great view of the fireworks and didn’t require us to be packed on Main Street like sardines. If you are crazy enough to visit Walt Disney World the week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve and have the means, I’d highly recommend staying at Bay Lake Tower over any other Deluxe Resort. It was perfect!

We were recently able to go to the Top of the World lounge during our stay at Bay Lake Tower. It’s a great view. I normally don’t like fisheye, but It works very well for this view. Thanks!

Nah, just a quick weekend jaunt.
We got to our room at BLT around 5pm and never left til the next morning. Once we opened the curtains we were blown away by the view. We could see Space like it was within arms reach. As the sun went down we could see MK come alive! We could see the logs coming down the big drop at Splash. We could even see the flash when it took the riders picture! We could see the lights from the track of the people mover. We watched Wishes as they played the music on our TV. Omg it was GREAT. We stayed in all night just watching the changes as the night rolled in. Even our room service dinner was amazing. One of the best nights we have had at WDW and we never left our room!!!
