Have a question about planning a trip to Disney or something you’ve read here? Hopefully this blog can help! We’ve visited every Disney resort around the world, from Walt Disney World to Tokyo Disneyland, have stayed in nearly every Disney-owned hotel in the world, and have dined at the majority of Disney restaurants.

Presumably, most of you coming to this site are here for Walt Disney World or Disneyland trip planning advice. Common questions you have can probably be answered by posts we already have written that pertain to these topics and contain links to most critical vacation planning info.

If you’re trying to plan a Walt Disney World trip, visit our Walt Disney World Trip Planning Guide. If planning a Disneyland trip, check out our Disneyland Trip Planning Guide. If you look on the right-hand sidebar, you’ll also find links to other key planning-related posts. You can subscribe to our FREE email newsletter here.

If you have a media request, advertising, or marketing inquiry, please contact tom [at] disneytouristblog [dot] com.

Sorry, but we do not respond to emails pertaining to planning. If you have questions pertaining to trip planning or other topics, leave your question in a relevant post or contact your travel agent. Unfortunately, we cannot respond to emails soliciting advice regarding Disney. Please understand that doing so would take several hours per day, consuming too much time better spent writing blog posts and planning resources for all.

If you need comprehensive or personalized trip planning advice and help booking your trip, we recommend contacting an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner (Disneyspeak for a travel agent). Try our sponsor, Be Our Guest Vacations.

We are just passionate Disney fans writing a blog about our experiences with advice based on those experiences. We are not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company nor is this an official Disney blog, so if you have questions or complaints about a booking with Disney or anything of that sort, you’ll want to contact Disney Guest Services for that.

Thanks,
Tom Bricker

  2. Hi Tom!
    The new website looks great!
This might be silly and just me but a back to top option at the bottom of each page-just a random thought!
Thank you so much for all the posts, they make every trip better

  3. Hi Tom,
I hope I don’t catch a lot of hate for this… but I’m just trying to give my honest opinion and you can do what you will. As a small business owner, I always appreciate feedback if I can make anything better for my clients. I’ve subscribed to your emails for some time now. I love the content in the emails and when I click on an article to Read More it gets VERY long winded. Since you have so many ads throughout, I have to scroll and scroll to read to “get to the answer”. You’ve become very wordy, and have so much filler that I find I lose interest and don’t bother finishing the article. You have great headlines and catch interest, but it’s so much “work” to get to the answer it isn’t worth the time it takes. I feel it’s gotten much worse since I first subscribed. I do love your insight, knowledge, experience and photos… I hope you can get back to being more user friendly with your delivery.

    1. I always appreciate constructive feedback that is respectfully shared–and yours definitely qualifies.

One of my goals in the new year is to be more concise. You are not the only one who has expressed this concern!

  4. Hi Tom,
I want to say how much I love the new site layout, and I also have an article request if you ever have time or inclination to write it. As someone who has been to Disneyland many times but never to WDW, I’m curious about Figment. He’s cute but I know nothing about his back story and what makes him so beloved by many WDW guests. I could google him but it would be more fun from your perspective since you’re such a fan!

  5. Hi Tom,

New logo is delightful. New site is depressing.
Miss the charm of the old layout. Good thing I just use RSS most of the time anyway.

Wishing you good tidings and much affiliate marketing ad revenue this holiday season.

  6. Hey there,

Please let me know if guest contributions are open and also share your guest post pricing and requirements.

I recently watched a youtube video taken on the Destiny that clearly shows you and your family, including your daughter. I know how diligent you are about keeping her off of social media so if you’d like to know which video it is, email me and I’ll give it to you privately. I don’t want to say anything about the author of the video in public spaces.

    1. Thanks for sharing this, but unfortunately, there’s really nothing we can do about it. That’s the nature of the beast in public spaces, unfortunately. 🙁

Our primary concern is not creating a digital record of her ourselves that’s easily traceable/trackable. We can’t really control what anyone else does, especially in places like the parks & resorts.

  8. Hi Tom & Sarah,

Love the new site – not sure if others are reporting this but I seem to be experiencing an issue with the “all posts” pages (on chrome desktop) where clicking from page one to page two of all posts takes me further back (goes from November 3rd to October 19th). Based on the newsletters I believe there is a bunch of articles between those (also clicking previous on a the last post of page one takes me to a different post than the first post of page two). I first noticed this issue a few days ago – it has persisted after a few new articles went up. Just an FYI as you continue to optimize the new site!

Thanks as always for the amazing work!
    Sarah

  10. Re: SEO Report

    Hi Good Morning,

I was checking your website and see you have a good design and it looks great, but it’s not ranking on Google and other major search engines.

With your permission I would like to send you a SEO report with prices showing you a few things to greatly improve these search results for you. These things are not difficult, and my report will be very specific. It will show you exactly what needs to be done to move you up in the rankings dramatically.

Kindly let me know if you would be interested so we can email you more details or schedule a call.

    Thanks & Best Regards
    Martin Blake

  12. Tom – the site redesign is great, but would it be possible to put the restaurant reviews page (or pages, I suppose) in an easier to reach location? They’re one of the pages I most frequently use on the site and I think they’re about four clicks deep, buried on the planning page. And I can’t always rely on Google’s memory to keep track of sub-pages like that.

Maybe I’m unique in using the reviews page a lot, but given that I’ve recommended your page to a bunch of people specifically for that purpose I suspect not.

    Thanks!

  13. Hi Tom! Have you and Sarah heard of Santa’s Village in Jefferson, NH? It’s a fantastic family-owned Christmas-themed kids park in the White Mountains, and I feel it would be right up the Bricker family’s alley as lovers of Christmas, theme parks, and the outdoors. Megatron will be aging into optimal age in the next few years (3 for free admission, 4+ and 42″ to ride everything in the park, 5+ for more stamina for area hiking). Go in summer for the water park and Christmas in July, late September weekends or the first weekend of October for fall foliage (or Nov/Dec if you are up for braving the cold to see the Christmas lights, but NH cold is no joke). It’s a great vacation destination when Orlando (and often Anaheim) is crazy hot!

  14. On your new website you have a blue rectangle for links to facebook, etc. It is right over the articles we are trying to read and it is very distracting and incovenient. Is it possible to move it somewhere else out of the way? Thank you!

  15. I just want to say that I am so happy that there is a date with your articles now. Sometimes I find one of your blogs from searching Google and, before the change, I didn’t know how old it was. Knowing the date helps determine if I need to keep searching for something more recent. Keep up the great work!

  16. Walt Disney World Meal Deal Sucks

The food quality is good, the choice is good, service good….So Why.
    IT’S INFLEXIBLE.

Our quick service deal cost almost £50/day per person. We get 1x snack and 2x main meal. I like to have a light breakfast (cereal or toast etc)=1x snack. A drink and perhaps an ice cream in a park or resort 2x snacks and a main meal in the evening 1x main meal with a sweet 1x snack. That equates to 4x snacks and 1x main meal.

This means I have far too many main meal vouchers than I require. In days gone by I could exchange a main meal for 3x snacks vouchers….not any longer. You can’t even select a snack and use a main meal voucher as redemption. A restaurant manager told me this wasn’t possible on the system. How ridiculous is that.

So Disney either allow the flexibility to exchange main meal vouchers for snacks as before or allow people to choose the amount of snacks and main meal vouchers they require at time of reservation . Your system right now isn’t customer friendly.

  17. Greetings,

I’m reaching out to explore a potential partnership around website monetization. While many sites are losing revenue due to AdBlock usage, that’s just one of several challenges we help solve.

Initial CPM starts from $1.50 with great potential for growth, based on volumes and traffic quality.

If this sounds interesting, I’d be glad to share more details and discuss how we can make it work for you.

    Best regards,
    Giorgi

    1. Hey Tom. Perhaps I missed this but I just looked at wait times during early entry today Friday November 7 at about 7:45am and Tron is posting a 15 minute wait. I thought it wasn’t part of early entry! Is this new?

  18. Hi there,

I’m looking to connect with someone from Disney Tourist Blog who handles paid content placements for the site.

A client of mine wants to reach your readers through a featured post on your blog.

If this is something that you accept, please let me know how much you charge.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

  19. Hello,

I have Oogie Boogie Bash tickets and, unfortunately, I am unable to use them. Do you know of a way that I can re-sell them? I came across a “re-sell” page on Facebook, specifically for the event but I suspect that it is not legitimate after exchanging messages with the page’s administrator at the time.

    Thank you for your time.
