Have a question about planning a trip to Disney or something you’ve read here? Hopefully this blog can help! We’ve visited every Disney resort around the world, from Walt Disney World to Tokyo Disneyland, have stayed in nearly every Disney-owned hotel in the world, and have dined at the majority of Disney restaurants.
Presumably, most of you coming to this site are here for Walt Disney World or Disneyland trip planning advice. Common questions you have can probably be answered by posts we already have written that pertain to these topics and contain links to most critical vacation planning info.
If you’re trying to plan a Walt Disney World trip, visit our Walt Disney World Trip Planning Guide. If planning a Disneyland trip, check out our Disneyland Trip Planning Guide. If you look on the right-hand sidebar, you’ll also find links to other key planning-related posts. You can subscribe to our FREE email newsletter here.

Sorry, but we do not respond to emails pertaining to planning. If you have questions pertaining to trip planning or other topics, leave your question in a relevant post or contact your travel agent. Unfortunately, we cannot respond to emails soliciting advice regarding Disney. Please understand that doing so would take several hours per day, consuming too much time better spent writing blog posts and planning resources for all.
If you need comprehensive or personalized trip planning advice and help booking your trip, we recommend contacting an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner (Disneyspeak for a travel agent). Try our sponsor, Be Our Guest Vacations.
We are just passionate Disney fans writing a blog about our experiences with advice based on those experiences. We are not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company nor is this an official Disney blog, so if you have questions or complaints about a booking with Disney or anything of that sort, you’ll want to contact Disney Guest Services for that.
Thanks,
Tom Bricker

FYI Epcot is no longer open for AP’s on July 4th
Which will prob spill over to MK
Which will prob stop park hopping
Hi there, I just wanted to let you know that with this new change on the Transportation update for Disney Springs and the Disney with Resort Hotels, that’s gonna go into a fat June 28, to me personally, I’m probably gonna be pretty upset with this because the fact that I’ve been wanting to go to Walt Disney World for years, and we’re trying to stay at one of those good neighbor hotels that offer Shuttle Service to Disney World, and one of the things that I’m trying to take advantage of is Disney Springs, and the restaurants that they have at Disney Springs that we can eat at, and of course window shopping there too then then of course, as a Tourist and the fact that I’ve never been to Walt Disney World before, this is all new for me and the fact that I’ve never been there before, I just wanna take advantage of the Buses and the fairies around the different resorts as a tourist you know because this is all new experience for me and I’ve been wanting to do this for years, but Deborah came across it so I’ve heard about people that have taken the buses around Disney World and walking around different resorts, checking different things out, etc., the word is trying to figure out you know if there’s something that we can work out because I am just a tourist and my dad has not been to Disney World since 1978 and if we do go, this will be his second time and for me, this will be my first time so with this change that’s gonna go into a fat 228, this is probably gonna get me pretty upset because the fact that now that Magical express has been discontinued since January 1, 2022, and Mears Connect is now serving the Disney Springs area hotels starting from DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando Disney Springs area all the way through Wyndam Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs but the Orlando Orlando World Center Marriott is just a few minutes from the park that Hotel does not have Early theme park entry like the rest of the Disney Springs does including the Holiday Inn Orlando Disney Springs Resort Area. I meant Holiday Inn Orlando Suites Waterpark so within the next week we need to look at this and figure out what we can do to best accommodate me because for one I do have disabilities and I will be planning on coming to Disney World at some point in the future we just don’t know when and for two that being said, this is a new experience for me, and mainly the reason why I wanna take the buses around to those different resorts besides just the Disney Springs is because I’m trying to take a tour and that’s mainly it if you get this comment, let me know your thoughts, and we can work something out, but what we can do before next Sunday Once again I’ve been wanting to go to Disney World for years, and this is a new experience for me. Yes, I will have the opportunity to do a Dining reservation at one of those resorts. Yes, I’ll be able to take advantage of staying on Resort property yes I’ll be able to check out the beignets at the Port Orleans French Quarter. I’ll be able to check out the different pools at every different resort we stay at. Yes, I’m still gonna be able to take advantage of all this stuff. It’s just trying to take the bus from Disney Springs to the Disney resort is the one that’s gonna cost me to get pretty upset so because of this new change if we can work something out between now and next Sunday that would be great and appreciated and then we can get more updated as needed when it gets close to those date and then that way it will have more information on what’s going on because I’ve been hearing a couple of Youtubers saying that a lot of people been getting really upset unless including annual eye holders so once again, I’m just the first time visitor so we need to work something out to wear if I do come as a first time visitor, hopefully I can still take advantage of all this stuff, taking the buses between Disney Springs and the resort, and I will have the opportunity to dine at every single one of them, including the our guest Restaurant and Cinderella Cinderella Royal table
I took your advice & visited Disney’s Hollywood Studios on June 18th, a day it was closing early at 6 PM. I got on Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway in 35 minutes. There was a 40 minute wait for Rise of the Resistance. I also took your advice here & as it was the first time I’d been able to get on the ride, used the stand by line rather than single riders’, so as not to miss anything. I also wanted to check out Muppets Rock’n’Rollercoaster, but the stand by line was 75 minutes. I didn’t gamble on the single riders’ line. I suppose the reason it had such a long line on a “zig when they zag” day was because it’s still so new. After that, I left because I wanted to get out of there before 3, when rain was predicted. I hate driving on Disney property in the rain; some lines in the road to guide one turning left at an intersection are hard to see. I also did Walt Disney Presents, where they had the film One Man’s Dream instead of a preview of an upcoming movie, & ate at Dockside Diner. Next I plan to go to Epcot on July 1st, another day when a park closes early.

I visited your website and see it has an amazing design, and it looks great, but it is not ranking on Google and other major search engines.
With your permission, I would like to send you an SEO report with prices showing you a few things to greatly improve these search results for you. These things are not difficult, and my report will be very clear. It will show you exactly what needs to be done to move you up in the rankings dramatically.

Hi Tom, not sure how often you look at these but wanted to leave it here as opposed to some random posts. I’ve been following this blog for around 10 years but only started leaving more comments recently. I’ve made several lately regarding an upcoming trip to Disneyland indicating how disappointed I’ve been in the process of trying to figure everything out. Part of it likely stems from being so used to Disney World where things just seem more predictable. So every time another wrench gets thrown into this trip and wanting everything to go as smooth as possible while traveling with a small child, it’s certainly led me to question why we are bothering. I just wanted to point out how appreciative I am that you’ve taken time out to respond to multiple things I’ve said by answering questions, trying to offer reassurance or possible alternatives, etc. The fact that you take the time to read through everyones comments and specifically address things and engage with everyone is a big part of what makes this site great and also different than many others that are trying to do the same thing. You’re really doing something great here. That may sound trivial given the topic at hand are theme parks, but with so many people visiting these places each year I think it’s safe to say it’s something people care about. I know this is long winded, but really I’m just trying to say thank you. Appreciate everything you guys are doing!
