20 Great Gifts for Disney Fans for $20 or Less
This list shares great gift ideas for Disney fans, with 20 options that cost $20 or less. This holiday buying guide includes some of the best books about Walt Disney World and Disneyland, toys, household goods, games, clothing and accessories, and more.
Even though Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the ‘extended’ Cyber Week are all over, there are still rolling sales on Amazon’s Holiday Deals page. That can be both overwhelming (in quantity) and underwhelming (in savings), but we’ve managed to find some deep discounts that actually are better than the post-Thanksgiving sales.
In addition to this, there’s also a HUGE Christmas Disney Shop on Amazon, most of which is being sold at significantly lower prices than what you’ll find in the parks. Notably, that Christmas shop has separate subsections for Disney100, Wish, and live-action Little Mermaid. As the anniversary is almost over and the two movies didn’t do so hot, almost all of that stuff has been reduced in price. So there are good savings to be had there if you’re interested in any of those things!
If you’re looking for more substantial present ideas that cost above $20, check out our Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide for Disney Fans. Want practical things that’ll help improve the quality of your vacation? Our Packing List for Walt Disney World has you covered, with many unique items that you never knew you needed!
For those $20 or less gift giving guide, we’ve combed Amazon for ‘holiday highlights’ that’ll make great stocking stuffers or inexpensive gifts. We receive a small commission from your purchases, so buying through these links helps support the site. However, neither the price you pay nor our recommendations (or lack thereof) are impacted by that.
Please do NOT buy stuff you don’t need just for the sake of supporting the site–what we receive in commission typically amounts to pennies per item. It adds up, but we certainly don’t want you hoarding things you don’t need. We mostly do these lists because we enjoy shopping and deal-hunting ourselves!
LEGO Avatar Ilu Discovery Set – This LEGO Avatar building toy features a posable Ilu animal-like figure with patterned wings, a coral-reef setting and 2 LEGO minifigures. There are actually several Avatar ‘Way of Water’ LEGO sets on sale for up to 42% off, presumably because Amazon is clearing this stuff out now that the movie is a year old.
LEGO Disney Buzz Lightyear Zyclops Chase – Same story with the Lightyear LEGO sets, all of which are on sale. Even if you hate this movie or never saw it (probably most of you, given that it bombed!), this is just the beloved Buzz Lightyear…so who cares what’s on the box? (That you’ll throw away, anyway.)
Disney100 Years Small But Mighty Figure Set – This set includes Marie, Young Simba, Pascal, Jack-Jack Parr, Edna Mode, Sadness, Tinkerbell, Nemo, Boo, and Sebastian, all designed in honor of Disney100. 25% off.Â
Haunted Mansion: Call of The Spirits Board Game – The next two board games are great deals–better than Black Friday or Cyber Monday–as both are on sale for deeply discounted AND are part of a buy 2, save 50% on 1 promotion. That means you could buy both of these games for under $20!
Funko Disney It’s a Small World Game – It’s the happiest cruise that ever sailed! And you’ll be truly happy when cruising through checkout with this game as part of the buy 2, save 50% promo.
Disney Chronology Game – This new game is also part of the buy 2, save 50% promo. (It’s a great option paired with the Haunted Mansion game, since both are the same price–for promos like this, you maximize savings when the two items are similarly priced, since the discount is taken on the cheaper of the two items.)
Funko Disney Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Game – This excellent BTMRR game features a sculpted mountain peak and mine tray, and features dynamite and dinosaur discoveries…what’s not to love?! It’s a great deal even before the buy 2, save 50% promo. (Totally random and unrelated to Disney, but I’d pair this with the Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window board game to maximize promo savings. I haven’t played that game yet, but it has great reviews and is based on one of my all-time favorite films.)
Thomas Kinkade The Mandalorian Collection Star Wars Puzzles – You know we will always recommend deals featuring art from Thomas Kinkade Studios, and this is a new one to us–a bunch of different puzzles featuring Baby Yoda that are 50% off.
Thomas Kinkade 2024 Disney Calendar – You’ve seen Kinkade’s work if you’ve ever been in an Art of Disney store. It’s the dreamy, improbably-lit paintings that you want to step inside. With their mix of artistry and impressionism, Kinkade’s Disney designs are mesmerizing, and this calendar is a great way to look at them all year long…without spending $1,000+ on a painting!
Thomas Kinkade Disney Coloring Books – Mentioning this because there are a lot of Kinkade-Disney fans. We love his studio’s actual art, but are not huge fans of the coloring books. (Isn’t the whole point of Kinkade the color and light?!) Still a great deal.
Delicious Disney: Walt Disney World – This came out for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, and we highly recommend it. So much more than a cookbook–it tells the history of Walt Disney World through the lens of food. With Amazon clearing out their 50th products, this book is now 46% off. (Our favorite book,Â
In general, we’d recommend checking out our List of the Best Books About Walt Disney World, Disneyland & Imagineering in Our Library. Many of those can be purchased used for pennies on the dollar, and are fantastic.Â
Star Wars Little Golden Book Box Set – From Jedi to Sith and droids to pilots—meet all the heroes and villains from the epic Star Wars space saga in this Little Golden Book library! Featuring stunning retro illustrations, this boxed set of five Little Golden Books is perfect for Star Wars fans of all ages!
The Muppet Christmas Carol: The Illustrated Holiday Classic – If you’ve followed this blog around Christmas-time, you know we are huge fans of Muppet Christmas Carol. I’ve seen it more than any other film (the next closest is Terminator 2, for those keeping score at home).
Disney Christmas Storybook Collection — Join Ralph and Vanellope as they throw a Christmas party just for the Bad Guys; trim the tree with Woody, Buzz and the rest of the Toy Story gang; follow Elsa as she tries to create the best holiday ever for her sister, Elsa; and more.
Disney The Little Mermaid Ariel & Ursula Dress Up Trunk – Includes two dresses complete with matching accessories inspired by Disney’s The Little Mermaid for hours of fun! Presumably on sale as Amazon clears out its inventory of items from the live-action Little Mermaid, but the costumes fit both the original animated movie and the new remake. Be sure to clip the coupon to save an additional 20%!
Disney Princess Coloring and Activity Book Bundle – Includes one Disney Princess Imagine Ink, one Coloring Book, one Sticker Activity Booklet, one Grab and Go Play Pack and a bonus Princess Crown pop toy.
Christmas Mickey Mouse Santa Red Graphic T-Shirt — This is cheap and looks far nicer than you’d expect for a shirt that costs for this amount. I wore this last year during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party until it got cold enough to put on a sweater. (If you like a loose fit, you might want to size up. Kinda wish I had.)
Mickey & Minnie Mouse Christmas PJs — It’s Christmas Eve tradition in my family to get a new set of pajamas to wear to bed and the following morning. It’s a great tradition—if your kids aren’t receptive to receiving clothes for Christmas, introduce them to Jólakötturinn, the Icelandic Yule Cat.
Star Wars The Bounty Collection Grogu’s Hover-Pram Pack – Scale figure of “Baby Yoda” with 5 fun accessories, including hover-pram with float stand and removable pram cover, cookie, Sorgan frog, tentacle soup bowl, and fabric blanket.
Anker Slimline Phone Charger 10,000mAh External Battery Pack — Even before Genie+, we recommended bringing a backup battery pack to charge your phone while using My Disney Experience or social media at Walt Disney World. This one has great capacity and charges relatively quickly. It’s no longer our favorite option, but the price is right–especially after the 30% off coupon.

I am tempted by that Little Golden Book set, even though I already have I Am a Droid. Actually, that book being so good and my daughter loving it so much is the main reason I am wanting it. So let this act as an endorsement of that item.
Thanks for sharing your feedback on it. FWIW, all of the Little Golden Books we’ve read thus far have been fantastic. We aren’t as into Star Wars, so won’t be getting this, but the Disney ones are all fantastic!
Hi Tom,
Although I buy to support your blog, I wouldn’t buy something I didn’t want. The whole thing was tongue in cheek with a little friendly teasing and a nod to your lovely wife who stood by you when you made a pretty big life change. Believe you me I know what it’s like to have a wife who supports her husband so that he can live out his dream. I am buying one red tee for myself and a couple of books.
I thought it was funny writing someone has to be an adult and then close by going to see a Godzilla movie.
Now on a serious note, I really was going to see Godzilla Minus One and here’s my rotten tomatoes review…..
This is the best Godzilla movie since the original. I knew the special effects would blow me away but I had no idea the story would be so strong. The dialogue was wonderful, the acting terrific, this movie should be nominated for an Oscar as best picture of the year. You could take this story about a coward’s redemption, with it’s war is not glorious undertones, eliminate Godzilla altogether and have a tremendous film left. It’s a Godzilla film but it’s also a human story about life and how precious it is.
My review is not tongue in cheek.
Oh, I believe everything you’re saying about Godzilla Minus One. I can’t wait to see it.
Here’s the kicker–its budget was only $15 million: https://www.dexerto.com/tv-movies/godzilla-minus-one-budget-2410616/
Part of that is the exchange rate, average salaries, and work conditions/expectations in Japan, but you can’t explain away all of it. Imagine Disney making a blockbuster movie for even double or triple that amount!
Not sure how much it helps but every time you publish one of these fund raisers I would try to pick up something.
At first it was like, let’s help out this young kid with a cheery blog about Walt Disney World. He seems nice enough and he found a beautiful wife who didn’t leave him when he said he was quitting what would have been a lucrative law practice bilking, I mean billing, millions of dollars in order to try his hand at photography and a … wait for it…Disney blog.
But now you’re a dad! Now you’ve brought an innocent baby into your crazy world. A child that needs to eat something besides Mickey pretzels, Minnie Mouse kitchen sinks filled with ice cream and what with Disney diapers and wipes being so so SO expensive, I feel I have to buy multiple items. So this year my entire extended family (wife, 4 children, 6 grandchildren and lots of in-laws, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters are all going to get the Christmas Mickey Mouse Santa Red Graphic T-Shirt… Yes, you’ve broken my will and I’m getting the tee shirt. I don’t want or need the tee shirt, there will be some grumbling this Christmas, but somebody has to get serious about taking care of little Megatron. Somebody has to grow up and be the adult in this situation. I’m closing now because I’m heading out to see the new Godzilla movie on an IMAX screen. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
We very much appreciate that thought, but should probably reiterate a message we posted at the beginning of the last deal roundup: Please don’t buy stuff you don’t need just for the sake of supporting the site–what we receive typically amounts to pennies per item. It adds up, but we certainly don’t want you hoarding things you don’t need. We mostly do these lists because we enjoy deal-hunting ourselves!
In this case, I was eyeing that Rear Window game, saw the 50% off promo, checked to see if there were any Disney games…and one thing led to another.
I do really like that shirt, though. Hopefully you sized-up, as mine fits a bit tight…and I don’t think that’s because I washed it in hot water, and it certainly can’t be because I’ve been hitting the ice cream and cookies a bit too hard in the last couple of months.
Enjoy Godzilla Minus One–I’ve heard it’s incredible!
