Best 2024 Big Spring Sale Deals for Disney Fans & Travelers

Amazon’s first-ever Big Spring Sale is running now through March 25, 2024 and offers great deals on a variety of products–including travel gear, Disney toys, books, games, LEGOs, and more! This post rounds up the best discounts during ‘Cyber Monday in March’ for your Walt Disney World vacations, plus products that will make great gifts for yourself or others.

If you feel like you’re having déjà vu all over again, that’s because this is yet another shopping ‘holiday’ that Amazon has added to the retail calendar, joining Prime Day, Holiday Early Access, and Big Deal Days. They’re getting a bit like Hallmark with these contrived holidays–not that we’re complaining about more sales!

I assume that Big Spring Sale is happening because there were too many shopping holidays added in the back half of last year, so Amazon has decided to “balance” things out with one in the spring. It certainly makes sense for the retail behemoth to create another money-saving holiday, and Amazon is already the single-biggest source of deals in October, November and December.

For the debut of the 2024 Big Spring Sale, Amazon customers will find deals on seasonal essentials like:

  • Up to 50% off select beauty products
  • Up to 50% off select sports and outdoors equipment
  • Up to 40% off select home products
  • Up to 40% off select spring apparel
  • Up to 40% off select electronics

That just scratches the surface. If you want a broad selection of the current deals, check out Amazon’s Spotlight Big Spring Sale Deals page for the biggest savings and most popular deals. Even then, the options can be overwhelming, as there are literally tens of thousands of items on sale.

This post aggregates Amazon’s best Big Spring Sale deals likely to be of interest to Disney fans and travelers. Some items are Disney-specific, others are travel gadgets that are not exclusively Disney-related. The former are fun items for collectors, parents, people doing gift shopping, and so on. The latter are practical items that would be useful for Walt Disney World or Disneyland vacations.

As with any of these promotional event sales, some “special offers” are great and some are…not so special. We’ve combed through the various deals and are sharing only those we deem good. We receive a small commission from Amazon for your purchases, so buying through these links helps support the site. However, neither the price you pay nor our recommendations (or lack thereof) are impacted by that.

We’ve purchased these items ourselves, have friends who recommend them, or are debating the purchase. It should be clear from each item’s description how we feel about a particular product. On with the list of the Best Amazon Big Spring Sale Deals for 2024…

Anker Nano Portable Charger – I just started using this in 2024, and it’s already my new favorite charger. The big selling point is the built-in Lightning connector for iPhones, meaning that you don’t need to carry additional cords. That alone is a game-changer for me, as I can hold the phone in my hand while the charger is attached and simply use it like normal. The only downside is slightly slower charging than the other batteries below, but everything is about tradeoffs, and that’s one I will happily make.

Anker Magnetic Power Bank 10,000mAh Wireless Charger – The key difference between this and other chargers is that this is wireless. Even though I just bought the built-in pocket charger above, I’m on the fence about getting this, too. If I have to do more Lightning Lane field testing once pre-booking finally arrives, I’ll definitely need the higher capacity of this one!

Anker Slimline Phone Charger 10,000mAh Battery (USB-C) — Even before Genie+, we recommended bringing a backup battery pack to charge your phone while using My Disney Experience or social media at Walt Disney World. This one has great capacity and the fastest quick-charging capabilities. This is perfect for the two of us–probably insufficient for a larger family or one (1) TikToking teenager.

Anker 20,000mAh 22.5W High Speed Charging Portable Charger – Same idea as the above, but double the capacity and not slim as a result. Good for an entire family, and an objectively better deal than the 10,000mAh version!

Anker 3-Port Charging Block – This is a niche product, but it’s another game-changer for me. For a while, we had stopped bringing power strips and adapters to Walt Disney World, instead using the new wall charging ports in hotel rooms at Walt Disney World. The only problem is that those are slow as molasses in January, as my grandma would say.

This Anker 3-port block charges my Nikon mirrorless camera, laptop, and phone simultaneously and the device is smaller than my Macbook charger by itself. It’ll be overkill for a lot of people, but it’s absolutely perfect for me!

Anker Outlet Extender – If you don’t need something that advanced (really only necessary for high-end cameras or laptops), this is a much less expensive alternative that also gives you added outlets. I don’t think extra outlets are necessary for Walt Disney World hotels, but you’ll presumably use this elsewhere. We like it for older hotels where outlets are more scarce.

Anker 4-Port USB Phone Charger – Same idea, but all USB. As you’ve probably gathered by now, Anker products are featured as part of Amazon’s Big Spring Sale.

Apple AirPods Pro – These are the headphones I use. (Sarah goes with over-the-ear options.) I’m guessing our days of noise-cancelling headphones on flights are over for the next few years, but I’ve been seated around many a screaming and/or crying child and/or parent and have managed to sleep through it thanks to these little puppies. At 28% off, the discount may not seem that great, but Apple products seldom get marked down more–this is cheaper than they were last year for Black Friday!

Loungefly Mickey Mouse Tech Wallet – An adorable character-themed phone case/wallet that’s 50% off for Big Spring Sale. Not sure I’ve ever seen anything Loungefly this cheap!

Loungefly Baby Yoda Wallet – Similar story here, but a regular wallet and Grogu instead of Mickey Mouse.

Loungefly Gingerbread Mickey Mouse Wallet – Not that my opinion matters since I’m not the target audience, but I think this is the best of the bunch. Never understood why more people don’t buy Christmas stuff in the off-season…the holiday happens again every year!

Loungefly Loki Backpack – Everyone loves Loki, and this very cool (IMO) backpack is a great deal after clipping the 20% off coupon.

Loungefly Pineapple Stitch Backpack – This is listed as being on sale for Big Spring Sale, but it only shows a discount of 8% off. That doesn’t seem right, since it’s $51–isn’t MSRP for these things usually $80?

More Loungefly Big Spring Sale Items – Lots of other Loungefly products on sale, including several more Disney items…some of which are kinda ugly. There’s also an awesome Elf backpack and NBA Loungefly products (didn’t realize that was a thing!) that are deeply discounted.

TravelPro Luggage – There are a variety of suitcases from TravelPro discounted by 28% to 32% off for the Big Spring Sale. Objectively speaking, there are better luggage deals. However, this is far and away our favorite brand–and the one preferred by pilots and flight attendants. We haven’t found anything better at any price point (definitely not lower, but not higher either), and if you travel a decent amount, you’ll be able to tell the difference.

Brita Filter Water Bottles – Florida water tastes awful straight from the tap, so it’s key to get a bottle with a filter. This is our second-favorite option–the cheaper bottle that I carry since I’ve lost one of the more expensive ones. It’s a great option, and with more and more bottle refilling stations around the parks, far more efficient than going up to counter service restaurants requesting cups of ice water.

Handheld Portable Small Fan (USB Chargeable) – If you don’t want to be quite as dorky with the neck fan and don’t want to wear a cooling towel, this classic handheld fan is the more traditional option for keeping cool. It ends up being under $10 after discount and clipping the coupon on the product page.

Baby Yoda Coffee Mug – This hand-painted mug featuring Grogu from the Mandalorian is absolutely adorable. Be sure to clip the coupon!

Gonex Compression Packing Cubes – They key here is that these are compression packing cubes, which normally cost more and will save you even more space when packing. If you need the suitcase space, we recommend this set over the one below. This only becomes a good deal by clipping the $8 off coupon. Here’s an even cheaper option at 50% off, albeit one we’ve never used.

Packing Cube Sets (Multiple Sizes) – Another staple of our packing list, we are fans of packing cubes and these are a solid deal at 52% off. There are a LOT of packing cubes on sale, so you might want to browse the results for “packing cubes” on the Big Spring Sale page and see which sizes/colors/etc. best suit you.)

Belkin Magnetic Portable Wireless Charger Pad w/ Kickstand – I’ve wanted one of these for a while, as I love the idea of watching something on my phone while flying and charging my phone at the same time. Other than that, this magnetic charger just seems convenient and easy.

60,000mAh High-Capacity Portable Charger – With enough juice to charge 12 iPhones, this is more suitable to going off the grid or getting lost in the woods for a week than Walt Disney World. We don’t have a use case for it (except maybe power outages?), but I’m tempted because it’s a fantastic deal. (Be sure to clip the 50% off coupon, which is what makes it a great deal!)

Universal Travel Adapter – Similar to the chargers above, but an off-brand adapter version for traveling to Europe. It’s been a while since we’ve upgraded adapters for international travel–our old ones didn’t have USB at all, and this has both USB-C and USB-A.

Apple AirTags – We use these to “track” our car (good for rental cars that can get lost in the sea of the TTC), checked baggage and camera bag (good for peace of mind), and much more that isn’t relevant to travel (Yossarian the Cat tracking). We also now use them in our stroller (a reader recommendation), as they’re great for tracking down strollers that Cast Members have relocated.

LÍLLÉbaby Complete Airflow Baby Carrier – Speaking of baby accessories, one of the most popular types of baby carrier brands is on sale. This is one of the many baby carriers we own. It’s a good one.

Ergobaby Omni Breeze Baby Carrier – You’re going to notice a trend with our baby carrier recommendations, and it’s breathability. Don’t even bother with the regular ones. Another great pick at a great price.

Momcozy Hip Seat – I do not care for this, but it’s a good deal.

Crocs Women’s LiteRide 360 Pacer Sneaker – Not all sizes or colors are on sale, but some are–worth checking out. I cannot recommend these highly enough. In case you missed it, they were the centerpiece of our list of the Best Shoes for Walt Disney World. At 40% off, the Crocs LiteRide Sneakers are worth trying for yourself to see what all the hype is about.

Crocs Women’s LiteRide 360 Sandals – Same deal here, but the discount is not quite as good. Note that this is not the version Sarah wears–hers are the beach stretch variety, with fabric straps.

Knockoff Loungefly Bag – Calling a spade a spade, this is basically a bootleg Loungefly bag. Now, I am definitely NOT the target audience for such a product, but as someone who doesn’t “get” how on earth Loungeflys are so expensive, I think this is a far, far superior option!

Disney Books

A Portrait of Walt Disney World: 50 Years of The Most Magical Place on Earth – Our favorite Walt Disney World coffee table book ever. In style, structure, and quality, this is unrivaled. Truly the best thing to come out of the 50th Anniversary celebration, this covers everything from development to the evolution of Walt Disney World, with tons of rare photos and concept art. You can read our full review if you want, but the bottom line is that this is the best book about Walt Disney World.

Delicious Disney: Walt Disney World – This is a cookbook, with recipes for iconic dishes like the Grey Stuff, Tonga Toast, Kungaloosh, Ronto Wrap, Hollywood Brown Derby Grapefruit Cake, and Le Cellier Steakhouse Cheese Soup. However, it’s also so much more. You’ll also find rare restaurant concept art, history (my favorite is “Walt Loved Fried Chicken”), and old menu scans.

Holiday Magic at the Disney Parks: Celebrations Around the World — This is an incredible deep dive into the holidays (mostly Christmas and Halloween, but also Easter and other seasonal events) with great photos, detailed information, and rich history. If you love the seasonal events, this is an absolute must-own.

Poster Art of the Disney Parks, Second Edition – This new for Christmas 2022 title is an expanded and updated edition of the beloved book that ranks highly in our library. The second edition renders the first obsolete, as the 85+ new posters and behind-the-scenes development info nearly doubles the book in length. It’s worth it for all of the awesome new posters made for EPCOT’s reimagining alone. (Currently a Lightning Deal for $25.76!)

The Walt Disney Film Archives. The Animated Movies 1921—1968 – Another great TASCHEN title, for an unbeatable price.

100 Disney Adventures of a Lifetime: Magical Experiences From Around the World – A nice aspirational travel book that’s Disneyfied. Put one of these on your coffee table before a gathering, and travel will become the topic of conversation.

Disney Games

Haunted Mansion: Call of The Spirits Board Game (Disneyland Edition) – I’m a total sucker for cheesy and cheeky board games, as well as Walt Disney World board games. This is the perfect intersection of those interests. It’s a fairly strategic game that’s easy enough for kids but also deep enough for adults. (Magic Kingdom version is also on sale, but not as cheap.)

Magical World of Disney Trivia (2,000 Questions) – This game is perfect for superfans to casual viewers questions covering a wide range of Disney and Pixar stories, and with easier questions for kids.

Funko Disney Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Game – This awesome ride specific game includes a sculpted mountain peak and mine tray that capture the iconic old west setting of the attraction. Simple, fast-paced introduction to deck-building—one of the most popular styles of card games. Features dynamite and dinosaur discoveries…what’s not to love?! At 25% off, this is actually only a lukewarm deal–it was 50% off on Black Friday (FWIW).

Ravensburger Disney Lorcana: Rise of The Floodborn TCG Starter Deck – My what a difference a few months makes. Back at Christmas, Amazon used a virtual queue/lottery to sell Lorcana cards. Now, they’re 29% off for Big Spring Sale!

Funkoverse: Marvel 101 Expansion GameUse Thanos alongside other Funkoverse characters, or power him up in Ultimate Mode for the ultimate Funkoverse experience.

Funkoverse: Marvel 100 4-Pack Strategy Board GameGame modes that include Scrimmage and Siege that allow you to explore the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier and Shuri’s Wakanda Laboratory.

Disney Toys

Mattel Disney Princess Doll House Ultimate Castle (4 ft Tall) – Given the 45% off discount for Big Spring Sale, this feels like one of those things I’ll regret not buying in a few years. On the other hand, I’d probably regret storing (yet another) gigantic toy for years. A real castle-22 scenario.

Mattel Disney Princess Playset: Belle’s Castle – There are multiple playsets on sale, including the Frozen sisters and Ariel.

Talking Baby Yoda Character – This talking Baby Yoda figure makes 10 different vocalizations and is described by Hasbro as “cuddly.” It’s styled after the Grogu character from the Disney+ series, with an authentic appearance.

LEGO Disney and Pixar ‘Up’ House for Disney 100This 598-piece LEGO Disney toy set includes a partial house built with balloons, different rooms and functions, plus Carl Fredricksen and Russell LEGO minifigures, and a Dug LEGO dog figure for dog lovers. According to LEGO, the set is “made for unlimited adventures on land or floating through the clouds.”

LEGO Disney Wish Asha’s Cottage – Lots of Wish and Little Mermaid (live action) toys are on sale, including LEGO sets. Regardless of the movie’s quality, this looks fun.

LEGO Disney Princess Enchanted Journey Building Set – I don’t remember hot air balloon travel being featured in any Disney princess story…but perhaps it should be.

Disney Junior Mickey Mouse Helping Hands Dress Up Trunk – This is kinda weird, but kinda awesome at the same time? A dress-up trunk where kids can pretend to be Mickeyfied (not sure if that’s a real word) versions of a doctor, construction worker or…something else. Great deal at 45% off.

Disney Junior Minnie Mouse Bowdazzling Dress-Up Trunk – Same idea, but Minnie Mouse and more conventional dresses. The Mickey Mouse one is more fun, but convincing the average girl to be a construction worker might be a hard sell. YMMV.

Okay, that’s it for right now. There are a bunch of other great deals that are irrelevant to Disney and travel (but also don’t appeal to me) on the Amazon Big Spring Sale homepage. We recommend browsing for yourself a bit, and checking back often, as new deals are regularly appearing–and disappearing. Just be mindful of the fact that some of these offers are time-sensitive, so you don’t want to spend too much time procrastinating and end up losing out!

Also, check back here throughout the deal, as I’ll share more Lightning Deals as they become available if they’re any good. Oh, and if you find anything that you think would be useful for other Disney fans, please share in the comments below!
