Have a question about planning a trip to Disney or something you’ve read here? Hopefully this blog can help! We’ve visited every Disney resort around the world, from Walt Disney World to Tokyo Disneyland, have stayed in nearly every Disney-owned hotel in the world, and have dined at the majority of Disney restaurants.
Presumably, most of you coming to this site are here for Walt Disney World or Disneyland trip planning advice. Common questions you have can probably be answered by posts we already have written that pertain to these topics and contain links to most critical vacation planning info.
If you’re trying to plan a Walt Disney World trip, visit our Walt Disney World Trip Planning Guide. If planning a Disneyland trip, check out our Disneyland Trip Planning Guide. If you look on the right-hand sidebar, you’ll also find links to other key planning-related posts. You can subscribe to our FREE email newsletter here.

Sorry, but we do not respond to emails pertaining to planning. If you have questions pertaining to trip planning or other topics, leave your question in a relevant post or contact your travel agent. Unfortunately, we cannot respond to emails soliciting advice regarding Disney. Please understand that doing so would take several hours per day, consuming too much time better spent writing blog posts and planning resources for all.
If you need comprehensive or personalized trip planning advice and help booking your trip, we recommend contacting an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner (Disneyspeak for a travel agent). Try our sponsor, Be Our Guest Vacations.
We are just passionate Disney fans writing a blog about our experiences with advice based on those experiences. We are not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company nor is this an official Disney blog, so if you have questions or complaints about a booking with Disney or anything of that sort, you’ll want to contact Disney Guest Services for that.
Thanks,

Tom, Thank You for such a great resource for all Disney information. We are pass holders and have plans to visit in the next two weeks. We are very concerned about the Coronavirus outbreak, especially since I have a compromised immune system. What steps is Disney World Orlando taking? Are they offering to change your dates for a later date, or refunds? Thank You so much, Ka
Love the site and the up-to-date information. I wanted to let you know that independent of device or browser, your site has been loading really slow on average connection speeds, especially the pictures. Sometimes I will wait 10min for the pages to load on a decent WiFi connection. This has been the case for me on a desktop, iPad and phone.
Thanks again for the great content.
Hi Tom,
I am a Disney vet – have been many times throughout my childhood and even in the recent years (I am 27) – I still love to go! I will be visiting Disney for 5 days (May 16th-May 20th of 2020) staying at the Disney All-Star Resort. We are doing 4 days at Disney Parks at 1 day at Universal.
I have never to been to Disney this time of year before. What do you anticipate the crowds will be like during this Saturday May 16th-Wednesday May 20th visit? It is RIGHT before Memorial Day Weekend, but I am wondering if the MDW weekend crowds will impact that week, or if we will get lucky and it won’t get busy until around that Friday of MDW, when we will have left on Wednesday? We were supposed to be there this week (Feb 1st-5th), but I came down with the flu. Can you compare the two times?
Let me know your thoughts!
Thanks for your help!
Tom……..I have a trip planned for late April and I wanted to get your opinion on if you think there is any chance Ratatouille could open up earlier than expected? I am no expert but I keep reading France updates and it seems that they could be ahead of schedule?
Thanks

I am NOT planning a trip to Disney World, but saw the information on the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival and am very interested in going to that. I realize that we have to go to Epcot Center, but I hope we don’t have to go to all the other attractions. Can you please tell me how I can attend? What I need to do? We will be there end of April and would love to see the festival only.
Thank you,
I am planning on trying to book a DVC rental for April 2021 and am not sure if I should go with DVC Rentals or Davids. I just wondered if you knew the comparisons or had any suggestions? Thanks for all your hardwork and Info! I love reading it.
Hi! We love your blog. We were reading that there is some refurbishment going on at the wilderness lodge from January through March. We are staying in February. We did call and right now they said they have nothing going on. Thoughts?
On your page you say that it is now officially allowed that a child credit can be used for an adult meal on the deluxe dining plan. Do you know if this info is in writing anywhere because I asked on the chat on Disney site and they said that is no longer allowed.
Tom –
With Supershuttle and the Disneyland Express shutting down, it would be a really nice addition to your blog if you could comment on how to get to Disneyland from the airport.
I was wondering if club level at the various WDW resorts is worth it for someone who is gluten free. Are there enough gluten free options offered throughout the day? Thank you.
If i reserve hotel separately and then buy the discounted tickets through Get Away Today, will I be able to then change my reservation and buy a dining plan?
i am planning a trip to Disney World for my family (2 adults, 1 child-10yrs old), most likely 7/5-7/11. Right now have narrowed down to Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney Dolphin, I see from your blog/website that free dining is offered during part of my stay. The 1st question I have is it good for the whole stay or just the days listed, because that could change my thoughts. Although we were at Universal 2 years ago and really didn’t spend that much on food(1o yr old not a big eater) and not sure Park Hopper/ Dining is worth extra cost. I have read some of your reviews and I see you really like updated look and Caribbean, but want to know what you think about Caribbean VS Dolphin. We are most likely going to fly and free airport transfer appealing, but Dolphin rooms with Fireworks Balcony look good as well. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Mike from Charlotte, NC
We have just returned to Australia from 9 days at Disneyworld over Christmas and New Year. Thank you so much for your newsletter and your advice which was invaluable. We stayed at Caribbean Beach Resort in building 24 in Martinique which was absolutely perfect. Close to everything at CBR as well as 5 mins to the Riviera Skyliner station (I love love love the skyliner) and the buses to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom were great, punctual and easy to get onto even at that time of the year. We did all the classics and all the new rides as well. An unexpected highlight was seeing the Muppets Great Moments in History on 27 December. We only got to see it once because it was gone the next time we were in Magic Kingdom. Thanks again for your wonderful help. Happy 2020
Hello. Will you be posting a best/worst time to visit in 2021?
Thank you,
Jennifer
Yay got my 2021 booking in.
Virgin Holidays in the UK are already taking 2021 bookings. Got into the Yacht club (club room) for 2 weeks last week of April- 1st week of May away from Easter and just hopefully busy not insane.
Also upgraded to Upper Class as it is my 2nd Honeymoon and we shall be at the resort for our 21st wedding Anniversary.
We have always found your tips and advice to be very helpful. However, when new conflicting information becomes available, please post that information IMMEDIATELY. My husband followed your advice to send one member of our group early to Hollywood Studios (the “Fast Pass Runner” on Saturday, December 7th and your information was wrong. My husband could not put all linked members of our group into the virtual queue because they needed to be physically present at Hollywood Studios.
Love your site and content, but PLEASE date posts so we know when they were originally published. Thanks so much!
I am already a subscriber and love your content. How do I get the updated Xmas eBook?
Same question. We leave Friday, and I’d love a copy of the latest Christmas guide. Your blog is the best!
We have booked 5 days at Disney in February 2020 and I am struggling with what to do. We travelled to Disney in 2014 and visited all four Disney parks, my girls were much younger then and we didn’t get to fully experience everything. My current plan is Day 1 – Arrive at Animal Kingdom Lodge by noon, check out Resort and Disney Springs. Day 2 – Magic Kingdom, Day 3 – (2) Parks – 1 Day at Universal (my daughter is a Harry Potter Fan) Day 4 – Resort Day, Day 5 – Check out and Hollywood Studios. Day Six Relax at Airbnb and Day 7 – Travelling to Port Canaveral for a cruise. So my dilemma is, I am second guessing my plan and thinking I should maybe add another park or two at Disney but my husband doesn’t want to be exhausted for the cruise and jam too much in. Your thoughts or suggestions. Thank you in advance 🙂
I used to receive your newsletter but for some reason it stopped coming. I subscribed again to be on the safe side and nothing, still no newsletter. Would you know why I am no longer able to receive it?
