Have a question about planning a trip to Disney or something you’ve read here? Hopefully this blog can help! We’ve visited every Disney resort around the world, from Walt Disney World to Tokyo Disneyland, have stayed in nearly every Disney-owned hotel in the world, and have dined at the majority of Disney restaurants.
Presumably, most of you coming to this site are here for Walt Disney World or Disneyland trip planning advice. Common questions you have can probably be answered by posts we already have written that pertain to these topics and contain links to most critical vacation planning info.
If you’re trying to plan a Walt Disney World trip, visit our Walt Disney World Trip Planning Guide. If planning a Disneyland trip, check out our Disneyland Trip Planning Guide. If you look on the right-hand sidebar, you’ll also find links to other key planning-related posts. You can subscribe to our FREE email newsletter here.
If you have a media request, advertising, or marketing inquiry, please contact [email protected].
Sorry, but we do not respond to emails pertaining to planning. If you have questions pertaining to trip planning or other topics, leave your question in a relevant post or contact your travel agent. Unfortunately, we cannot respond to emails soliciting advice regarding Disney. Please understand that doing so would take several hours per day, consuming too much time better spent writing blog posts and planning resources for all.
If you need comprehensive or personalized trip planning advice and help booking your trip, we recommend contacting an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner (Disneyspeak for a travel agent). Try our sponsor, Be Our Guest Vacations.
We are just passionate Disney fans writing a blog about our experiences with advice based on those experiences. We are not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company nor is this an official Disney blog, so if you have questions or complaints about a booking with Disney or anything of that sort, you’ll want to contact Disney Guest Services for that.
Thanks,
Tom Bricker
You need a method of finding specific subjects on your website. Columns about uber and taxi usage for example. There is no way of finding that now that I know of without scrolling through hundreds of pages of posts.

Going through your website – do you have a listing somewhere of the best day’s of the week to go to each park?
Thanks!

Really enjoying your site for all things Disney to plan for our WDW trip May 2020. I thought you reveiwed a lightweight waterproof backpack that could be folded up to be very small when not in use. I thought the picture was a bright lime green but not sure. Could you share the details of the backpack you recommend? I can’t find it on your packing lists.
Thanks again,
Pauline
Any word on the new Space restaurant coming to Epcot? Originally said “winter 2019” opening but haven’t heard anything since. Thanks.
We only have 5 more days to order Magic Bands for our Nov 14 trip. The option for the Halloween Party is there (now that I don’t need this choice any longer) and the option for the Xmas Party (which was on there for like 60 seconds and why I’ve been refreshing diligently) isn’t. Like all of the other Disney Magic disappearing, I’m guessing this too is an option they will be removing and this is why they don’t care to fix the problem. What are your thoughts?
Hey Tom. Also waiting for your review of Toledo at Coronado. Just made my dining reservations for Easter week 2020 but anxiously waiting for your review before firming that one up with another party traveling along with us.
How are gratuities calculated when on a dining plan ?
We are planning a full immersion trip this time. And your blog is far and away the best of the independent blogs. Thank you!
Question: in the past, we have found that full days require breaks (and napping) for some of us. Your advice on quiet areas inside the parks is great. However since we are staying at a Disney resort this time round, we were wondering if guests from the one resort can relax at the sibling resorts, say poolside, with our magic bands?
Hi, Travelling from Australia to LA Disney, booked at Howard Johnston so just across from Disney Land. Wanting to know do you think it is cheaper to buy tickets at the gate or purchase via Howard Johnston. Also does LA Disney have Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or is it just Disney World. If not do you know if they do something similar. We are there from the 29th Nov until the 4th Dec, looking at a 3 or 4 day pass.
Just subscribed so looking forward to any helpful tips. So excited at the moment.
Hi Tom, I´m waiting your review about Toledo restaurant. I´m deciding if making and ADR there but never will do without your recomendation hahaha
Any guess as to when deals for 2020 will start to come out? Thanks!
My Friend and I followed your advice and took a spur of the moment trip to Disney World last week. We were amazed at what all we accomplished in two days! On the first day we roped dropped HS, rode the Millennium Falcon and every other ride in HS several times and still had time to park hop to Epcot to ride Soaring 2x and Frozen 1x. We finished up the night in AK by riding Mt Everest and having dinner. The following day we accomplished the following in MK: Buzz 9x, Space Mountain 5x, Seven D 4x, Thunder Mountain 3x, Splash Mountain, Peter Pan, Small World, PhilharMagic, Tea Cups, Cinderella’s Carousel, Pooh, Carousel of Progress, Barnstormer, Dumbo, Jungle Cruise, Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor and Happily Ever After Fireworks – 36 rides/shows in 1 day! We even had time for a sit down dinner at Skipper Canteen. Wow!!!! Thanks for the heads up to go now!
Tom,
Love the newsletter. When we lived in S.Fla we made lots of trips to Disney. Knew a bunch about it. Moved away for 20 years and haven’t caught up.
Within the past few months, I believe you wrote about viewing the Eat to the Beat series and I believe you said there was an entrance for passholders. I can’t find it in the copies that I’ve kept (great reference).
Did I imagine this?
Thanks
Peggy C
Your blog is great! I really love learning everything about Disney. What is your favorite part of your blog to write about? Just subscribed to your newsletter! Can’t wait to see your next one!
Has anyone heard anything about Disney “tweaking” the Florida resident passholder benefits?
P.S. Tom, just recently subscribed to your newsletter. Great, honest comments about WDW and appreciate the helpful hints! Keep it coming!!!
