Have a question about planning a trip to Disney or something you’ve read here? Hopefully this blog can help! We’ve visited every Disney resort around the world, from Walt Disney World to Tokyo Disneyland, have stayed in nearly every Disney-owned hotel in the world, and have dined at the majority of Disney restaurants.
Presumably, most of you coming to this site are here for Walt Disney World or Disneyland trip planning advice. Common questions you have can probably be answered by posts we already have written that pertain to these topics and contain links to most critical vacation planning info.
If you’re trying to plan a Walt Disney World trip, visit our Walt Disney World Trip Planning Guide. If planning a Disneyland trip, check out our Disneyland Trip Planning Guide. If you look on the right-hand sidebar, you’ll also find links to other key planning-related posts. You can subscribe to our FREE email newsletter here.
If you have a media request, advertising, or marketing inquiry, please contact [email protected].
Sorry, but we do not respond to emails pertaining to planning. If you have questions pertaining to trip planning or other topics, leave your question in a relevant post or contact your travel agent. Unfortunately, we cannot respond to emails soliciting advice regarding Disney. Please understand that doing so would take several hours per day, consuming too much time better spent writing blog posts and planning resources for all.
If you need comprehensive or personalized trip planning advice and help booking your trip, we recommend contacting an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner (Disneyspeak for a travel agent). Try our sponsor, Be Our Guest Vacations.
We are just passionate Disney fans writing a blog about our experiences with advice based on those experiences. We are not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company nor is this an official Disney blog, so if you have questions or complaints about a booking with Disney or anything of that sort, you’ll want to contact Disney Guest Services for that.
Thanks,
Tom Bricker
Hi, I was wondering you had any advice that could help me. I recently booked a vacation for 10 May 2017, which will make my 180 day window 11 Nov 2016, only problem, im on an 14 hour flight from 5.25am eastern time, and no idea when I will get wifi the other side. My family is with me and friends think im crazy for booking dinner reservations 6 months in advance. Is there any way you can think of to get round this situation, maybe someone I could pay to make the reservations fro me the minute the window opens?
Have 2 questions –
We have dinner reservations at Sanaa – will it be worth it for my 4 year old???
Does anyone have an approximate cost of the valet laundry services? We’re staying at Art of Animation and I’m trying to budget for everything and think this may be something worth spending money on.
Thanks!
Hi Tom,
We’ve found your blog very helpful. This is our first Disney venture and we are already stymied. We purchased our tickets through Park Saver and the prices are great. We have the vouchers which we’ll redeem when we arrive at the park. Howeveour question is how do we connect the information in the voucher to our DisneyWorld.com account so that we can book FastPass when the 30-day mark arrives.

Would it be possible to have a ‘last updated date’ added to your pages? It would help readers know if the information has been updated recently and since something has been changed or added to a Disney location/program.
Thanks!

My wife and I are in the process of planning our Disney trip for 4-9 December of this year. We will have 4 day park hopper passes. We plan to do Magic Kingdom 2 days, Epcot 1 day and split one day between Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios (formally MGM?). Anyway, my question is, between Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, which do you suggest to go to for the evening?
Loved your Free Disney Holiday Resort Tour blog. When do the hotels typically have their trees, gingerbread displays up? Visiting Thanksgiving week.
In one of your blog posts you explained that 2016 is a good year to visit WDW but that 2020 would be the best. Why would you say that 2020 is the best? What would be your second choice 2017, 2018, or 2019?
I am trying to sign up for raise.com and it keeps telling me i can’t set one up at this time. any suggestions?

I left my survaner mug at the counter when checking out. It was blue. I called the 877 560 6477 number. Which transfered me to various others. No one seems to be able to help. We stayed at Martinique Resort, in Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Room 2364, with the Steps In Time dance group. Please tell me how can I get a replacement mug….that’s all I want. Not to be transferred from person to person. My num is 484 426 0600, my email [email protected].
Thank you

Hi, we are planning our first trip to Disneyland Paris next weekend. We already have off-site hotel reservations, so I am researching the different types of tickets that are available. I think I am missing something very easy here, but please guide me. The description for the mini ticket, magic ticket, and super magic ticket are exactly the same. What is the difference? I see the calendar reference, does that mean for a blue day you can only buy a magic ticket? Confused.
Does anyone know when the 2017 Europe cruises come out? Last year DCL posted them on March 24th — .
thanks

Does anyone know when the Free Dining Plan for Walt Disney World will be offered this year? I am trying to watch for it.
Does anyone have a list/know where I can find a list of all quick/counter service and table service restaurants that ARE NOT on the Disney World Dining Plan? Me and my girlfriend are wanting to visit Disney World next year for the first time and we are wondering whether the dining plan is worth it? I only just realised today that not all restaurants are available on the plan.
Also, is it that only specific meals at the participating restaurants are available on the dining plan?
Many Thanks
Perhaps someone here might be able to help me track down a tune I heard at Epcot many years ago. I do not remember the year I went to Epcot but it would have had to have been not too long after it opened. I was in one of the pavilions (essentially a boat ride in the dark) that highlighted various nations with what was likely Mexico being one of the first countries. This probably means I was in the World Showcase. The music that was being played as we slid by Mexico was a tune I had heard before somewhere. It was an instrumental (at least the portion that I heard); it was not a mariachi type of thing but more of a pop tune. I decided to keep an ear out for the tune and when I heard it again to track down the name. Naturally, I have never heard it again! I recently listened/watched a bunch of Youtube videos made by folks going through the World Showcase and none of them had the music I heard so the Disney folks changed the music from what I heard. Anyone have any ideas on how to track down what was used so long ago?

Thanks for the Fabu Humor. Life is nothing without it. I was laughing and thoroughly enjoyed your article.
I enjoy reading your posts and the helpful tips. It would be a great addition if you included the date of the post and dates on the comments.
It would make it easier to see whether it was current information. Thanks.
