Disney Believe Predictions: Haunted Mansion Holiday Lounge, Encanto Stage Show, Ursula Piano Bar & More
Today is the day! Disney Cruise Line is revealing for the Believe ship later this afternoon, and it’s the final day of cryptic clues and hidden hints about what the 2027 ship’s restaurant roster, lounge lineup, and stage shows. We’ve been participating in a scavenger hunt aboard the Disney Wish for the last couple of days, and have some fresh predictions based on what we’ve discovered.
As basic background, Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro announced the ninth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet would be named the Disney Believe back in March as part of the annual shareholder meeting. That also included a teaser trailer for the ship and vague info, which has led to rampant fan speculation about which characters and stories the ship will showcase. Some of which has now been reinforced or contradicted by the clues in the scavenger hunt.
The big Believe ship reveal will be on October 7, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern. The Disney Parks social channels will be hosting a livestream for the official reveal that will share all the details, including the homeport, itineraries, lounges, entertainment, pools, rotational dining, and more.
The reveal will happen through a one-night only stage show celebrating the new experiences coming to the Disney Believe. This “Broadway Star Series” performance will feature Disney Legend Susan Egan and other Broadway stars bringing the spirit of the new ship to life through the iconic stories and music that have inspired its onboard spaces.
Disney Cruise Line has used similar livestream reveals ahead of previous ship debuts, which have essentially been a firehose of announcements about everything on the ship. This was especially the case with the Wish back in 2021, and the Treasure to a lesser extent.
The Destiny and the Adventure were a bit more staggered, but still nothing like the slow trickle of news that we often see for Walt Disney World and Disneyland announcements. DCL fans are invited to tune in to the livestream reveal event of the Disney Believe at home, but the action will be happening live onboard the Disney Wish!
What’s Already Been Revealed
During D23, Disney revealed only a few minor details about the Believe. Less significantly, that Woody and Buzz from Toy Story will be the stern characters. Additionally, that Believe’s bow will be decorated with a hand-painted filigree of Tinker Bell.
The highlight from that was that the Disney Believe’s Grand Hall will be inspired by Disney Animation’s Moana movies. A bronze cast statue of Moana, accompanied by her faithful companions Pua and Heihei, will be a focal point. The film’s idyllic South Pacific setting will be layered with artisanal Polynesian finishes that honor the cultural traditions of the region.
I’m cautiously optimistic about this! Moana for the Grand Hall statue was one of our “safe” D23 predictions, so it’s not a huge surprise to see this. Moana is a good fit for Disney Cruise Line, and we look forward to seeing how the Polynesian theme is pulled off in the Grand Hall. Our expectation is that it’s similar to the Disney Treasure, which is infused with an Aladdin influence throughout, and is easily the best Grand Hall of the Triton class.
Pulling from that playbook with the same attention to detail and design, but with a Polynesian twist, is a winning formula. The serene South Pacific stylization is perfect for Disney Cruise Line, and could offer a well-appointed but relaxed setting, on par with Aulani Resort or the Polynesian (most likely a cross between the two).
With the Grand Hall being the only big reveal thus far for the Believe, a lot is still on the table to be announced during the livestream. Here are more of our predictions, in light of what we’ve uncovered over the course of the scavenger hunt aboard the Wish…
With Moana off the table, that leaves Encanto, Frozen, Little Mermaid and “the wishing wells of” Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as the other main intellectual properties that were previously highlighted in the Believe teaser.
Additionally, the scavenger hunt has heavily emphasized a few additional movies: Tangled, Inside Out, and Monsters, Inc. Curiously, it has almost entirely avoided Nightmare Before Christmas, which was previously gaining momentum in the rumor mill as the themed bar slotting into the Haunted Mansion Parlor space.
One of the strongest signals sent during this hunt has been for the lounge spaces. Day one revealed drinks inspired by the Little Mermaid, Frozen, and Snow White, which would seem to suggest that these properties will occupy those spaces.
One drink was served in an Evil Queen goblet, suggesting a Snow White-themed bar dedicated to the fan-favorite villain. Worth mentioning here is that the Disney Adventure features the Spellbound Lounge, which is inspired by the Evil Queen, and we previously predicted that Disney would start plucking venues and assets to reuse for the domestic ships.
Another one of these spaces could be the Poor Unfortunate Souls Piano Bar, featuring Ursula. The only issue here is the overlap in these predictions. It seems unlikely that there would be both an Evil Queen and an Ursula bar on the same ship. Perhaps it’s actually a single Villains-themed location?
I think the Frozen drink was misdirection (it seems like there’s been a lot of this), and as opposed to being a lounge, that’ll be something served elsewhere. It could point to Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure, which is one of the highlights of the Wish, being cloned for the Believe. As a marquee current IP without a strong villain, I’m skeptical that Frozen gets a bar; the character integrity folks would throw a fit about that.
In all likelihood, the Believe will follow the established DCL formula, with a healthy mix of original and cloned offerings from previous Wish-class ships. Hence the possibility of Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure being reprised here.
This is the best of the ‘entertainment’ dining options, so it being repeated on the Believe makes sense. If Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure is recycled, it probably means that Worlds of Marvel is not. Maybe that becomes Zootopia or Monsters, Inc. Of the two, I’m more inclined towards Zootopia.
Casting doubt on the Arendelle reprisal theory, however, is the frequency with which Encanto has come up during the scavenger hunt. And often in the context of food and family. So either Encanto is the entertainment rotational restaurant or the Broadway-style stage show (featuring food?). I’d be shocked if Encanto is not one of those two things.
For rotational dining, Monsters Inc, Zootopia, Star Wars, or even Guardians of the Galaxy all seem like potential picks. My sincere hope is that one of these replaces World of Marvel.
There have also been multiple clues that have pointed towards the Jolly Roger from Peter Pan; that seems like a possibility in the Deck 3 open lounge space (Bayou/Skipper Society/Sanctum).
As previously predicted, I could also still see Snow White being featured in the fine dining location, a la Carthay Circle Restaurant. Maybe it’s simply called “Enchanting Wishing Well Restaurant” or something like that. One of the ‘answers’ on the hunt was gooseberry pie, which points to a restaurant.
Another possibility here, mostly since we’re running out of places to put the IP that’s been featured, is Snow White or Fantasia replacing 1923. Same style of restaurant that’s a love letter to Walt Disney, but through the lens of those classics. Whichever of these films is not the 1923 venue could be the fine dining motif.
As a wildcard for the Broadway-style stage shows, one fun theory I’ve heard that I actually love is Monsters, Inc. That’d be a great production that deviates from the established formula, and Disney Live Entertainment has already done several Pixar shows that feature Monsters, Inc. in the international parks, and they’re all fantastic.
Casting doubt on this one, though, is that it would be such a departure from the template. Encanto seems like the safer bet. Again, I would be shocked if Encanto is not one of the ‘big’ additions via the entertainment rotational dining or the Broadway-style stage show.
Then there’s Tangled, which also seems like a logical option to be cloned for another of the Broadway-style stage shows. That is the safe pick, although I’d note that Imagineering has created multiple Snuggly Duckling locations, and that would be a great option for a lounge. There have been a lot of Tangled clues, so it should be something consequential.
Then there’s the themed bar space. This has been one of the locations spotlighted aboard the Wish-class that got fans most excited during the previous ship launches. We have no good leads on this one.
Whatever the themed bar does end up being, it’s unlikely to be a clone of Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge or Haunted Mansion Parlor. Disney previously teased that Nightmare Before Christmas will be one of the featured IPs on the Believe, and rumors have swirled that Nightmare Before Christmas is destined for that themed lounge space.
Unfortunately, we’ve had cold water thrown on the Nightmare Before Christmas themed lounge theories by Disney.
I want to believe that’s misdirection. That it’s technically not a Nightmare Before Christmas lounge, but rather, Haunted Mansion Holiday Parlor. Can you imagine taking the fan-favorite formula of the Haunted Mansion Parlor, but with a permanent overlay that infuses Nightmare Before Christmas?!
Disney Cruise Line might be reticent to have a lounge that is themed to the holidays year-round and leans theme park IP, but they shouldn’t be. Haunted Mansion plus Nightmare Before Christmas is a license to print money and shouldn’t even qualify as niche because it’s so popular within the Disney fandom and beyond.
I have no other good guesses for the themed bar because I so badly want it to be Haunted Mansion Holiday Parlor. My only other not-great theory is Guardians of the Galaxy, which could be like a mix between Space 220, Cosmic Rewind, and Mission Breakout.
That’s all we’ve got as far as predictions go. There’s no way there isn’t at least one original rotational restaurant, and potentially two. We’re also expecting all of the lounges and flex venues to be new. Smaller-scale entertainment and kids clubs are a similar story (we didn’t get to kids clubs, but Monsters, Inc, Zootopia, Fantasia, or Guardians of the Galaxy all fit there).
The Believe should have a decent amount of originality, as opposed to just being the ‘greatest hits’ of the Wish class. That’s clearly the direction that Disney has been going lately, and the announcements for the parks reflect that. On top of that, DCL will be increasingly reliant on repeat cruisers with the fleet expansion, so variety is important.
Perhaps it’s too early for cloning from the Adventure, but we also expect that to happen eventually. Since there’s minimal audience overlap, all of the best ideas from that ship will make their way to the regular fleet; it’s just a matter of time.
If you want to try to ‘solve’ the mysteries of the Believe for yourself before the big reveal, Disney Cruise Line has been documenting the scavenger hunt here. That’s the basis for pretty much everything I know aside from the outside rumors.
Believe Background
The Disney Believe is the fourth installment in Disney Cruise Line’s Triton class.
The Disney Believe will join the enchantment-themed Disney Wish, adventure-themed Disney Treasure, and heroes and villains-themed Disney Destiny. The Disney Believe will be filled with stories of characters who believe in themselves, in their dreams, and in the promise and possibility of a better tomorrow.
DCL previously revealed that the Disney Believe will bring to life the magical worlds of “Encanto” and “Frozen,” the wishing wells of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” and the depths of the sea with “Moana” (check) and “The Little Mermaid.”
Here’s the reveal for the Disney Believe logo/name:
“It begins with a WISH. That WISH becomes something you simultaneously have to let go of and hold on to.
It turns into hope and WONDER, and at times can feel like a far-off DREAM. Maybe even a FANTASY.
But when your WISH comes true, it’s MAGIC, taking you on an ADVENTURE you… pic.twitter.com/2MRmwdbRZL

The previous teaser hints at other IPs that could appear on board the Disney Believe.
Based on that: Tangled, Inside Out, Iron Man, Monsters Inc, Zootopia, Fantasia, Star Wars, Toy Story (check), Nightmare Before Christmas, and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Building the Believe
Construction officially began on the Disney Believe during a steel-cutting ceremony in August 2025 at Meyer Werft Shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. The event featured Disney and Meyer Werft representatives, including Captain Mickey Mouse, who initiated the symbolic cutting of the first piece of steel.
All ships in the Wish-class are powered by liquefied natural gas and, at approximately 144,000 gross tons, are slightly larger than the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy.
As with its sister ships, the Disney Believe should measure 1,119 feet in length, and accommodate up to 4,000 passengers in 1,254 staterooms with a crew of around 1,555. It’s structurally the same ship, which regrettably means no material changes in layout, either. Just different themes and concepts in the same spaces.
Over the course of the last year, the Disney Believe has quietly continued to take shape in Germany. On September 18, 2026, the first of three gigablocks was completed and floated out of the shipyard, marking a milestone in the construction process for the upcoming ship before its 2027 debut.
In case you’re wondering what a gigablock is, think of building a cruise ship like putting together a giant 3D puzzle. Shipbuilders construct the vessel in large sections, known as gigablocks (not to be confused with Gigglewatts, the unit of energy generated by laughter in Monsters, Inc).
Gigablocks come complete with walls, plumbing, and wiring. Each section can weigh over 31,000 tons, and once finished, they’re welded together like puzzle pieces to complete the ship. This first section contains the midship of the Disney Believe, which is home to some familiar places like the Grand Hall. The next gigablock to be constructed will be the forward portion, followed by the aft.
Ultimately, the Disney Believe is starting to sound more like the Disney Treasure than its other sister ships, as evidenced by the Grand Hall. That’s a relief since the looser focus originally made us worry that the Believe would be a grabbag of whichever IPs they feel like incorporating.
Hopefully, the extra time between the Destiny and Believe gives Imagineering and other teams more time to learn lessons from guest feedback on the other Triton class ships and apply them to the Believe. I may not love everything about the current class ships, but the Treasure is fantastic and the Destiny is very good to great. Admittedly, even the Wish has grown on me over the years, even if it is far and away the weakest of the trio.

I reckon the gooseberry pie might be what they serve as the breakfast/snack food in a snow white lounge where the Bayou/Jungle Cruise/Dr Strange lounge is on the other ships (those have beignets, waffles etc). That would make sense given the evil queen drink. Or maybe it’s a whole Villains themed restaurant. I am skeptical of Arendelle returning only because I think it the ensemble cast of that show makes it a pretty costly production, and they have been moving toward smaller dinner entertainment casts without as many recognizable face characters on the other ships.
