Disney World Adds Dozens of New Dishes in Fall 2026: Whimsical Waffles, Churro Concoctions & More

Walt Disney World is debuting over three-dozen new food and drinks in Fall 2026, with additions to breakfast menus, snack stands, bars, and more across all four theme parks, Disney Springs, and most Value & Moderate Resort hotel food courts. Here’s a rundown of the dishes, some of which sound fantastic.

The menu additions contain a lot of new whimsical waffles and pancakes, gourmet churros, frozen slushies, milkshakes, along with a variety of specialty nonalcoholic drinks and cocktails. There are dozens of different locations, ranging from hotel quick service restaurants to lounges to pool bars to even a few table service restaurants, where the 38 different items can be found.

Walt Disney World has not yet announced a debut date for the dishes, beyond Fall 2026. It’s typically the case that these items roll out relatively quickly from the time they’re revealed (some might already be available–it’s common for Disney to “announce” things that have already quietly debuted), but the lack of a specific date suggests they’ll debut in phases. The lack of dates also suggest these are intended as permanent additions (at least as far as any menu at Walt Disney World can be characterized as such), as opposed to seasonal ones.

Whimsical Waffles & Pancakes

Start your day off right with all-new flavors of pancakes and waffles! From birthday cake to caramel-banana, fruity cereal to candy bar, Walt Disney World is introducing new renditions of the classic Mickey waffle fans know and love! Here’s a rundown:

    • Character-shaped Birthday Cake Waffles with birthday cake custard, cake crumbles, and rainbow sprinkles served with bacon and sausage
      • Landscape of Flavors at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
    • Birthday Cake Pancakes with birthday cake custard, cake crumbles, and rainbow sprinkles served with bacon and sausage

      • Riverside Mill Food Court at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
      • Everything POP Shopping & Dining at Disney’s Pop Century Resort

    • Everything POP Shopping & Dining at Disney’s Pop Century Resort

    • End Zone Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort

  • Caramel-Banana Pancakes topped with streusel served with bacon and sausage
    • End Zone Food Court at Disney’s All-Start Sports Resort
  • Mickey-shaped Fruit Cereal Waffles with creamy vanilla custard and fruit cereal served with bacon and sausage
    • Intermission Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
  • Fruit Cereal Pancakes with creamy vanilla custard and fruit cereal served with bacon and sausage
    • Intermission Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort

  • Mickey-shaped Candy Bar Waffles with cookie bar pieces, caramel, and chocolate sauce served with bacon and sausage
    • World Premiere Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
  • Candy Bar Pancakes with cookie bar pieces, caramel, and chocolate sauce served with bacon and sausage
    • World Premiere Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort

The pancakes look delicious, but the Mickey-shaped Candy Bar Waffles are what caught my eye. Disneyland has been serving custard-filled Mickey Waffles that look a lot like this at Schmoozies for the last year-plus, and they are incredible. Although this does not indicate the waffles have filling, sometimes the Schmoozies menus don’t, either.

If these have caramel filling, they’re going to revolutionize the Walt Disney World breakfast experience as we know it, and catapult All Star Movies to the top of our Value Resort rankings. That might read like hyperbole, but I assure you that it is not. If anything, a Mickey Waffle that properly emulates a candy bar might be too powerful, and deemed unsafe for human consumption. If these are just normal waffles with a light scattering of candy bar toppings…meh.

Churro Concoctions

Walt Disney World is reinventing the churro with a new selection of flavors and concepts. From pairing iconic Disney snacks such as churros and DOLE Whip, to a cold brew served with a classic churro, there are some interesting ideas here. Take a look!

  • Bavarian Cream-filled Churros with Chocolate Sauce
    • Anaheim Produce at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
  • DOLE Whip Pineapple with Chili-Lime and Churro Sundae: DOLE Whip Pineapple layered with chili-lime-marinated DOLE Pineapple, coconut, and a classic churro half
    • Warung Outpost at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
    • Happy Landings at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park (Coming in 2027)

  • Churro-misu Cold Brew: Joffrey’s Cold Brew Coffee topped with a house made tiramisu cold foam served with a churro
    • Isle of Java at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
  • Cookie Butter Mini Churros with cookie butter cream and crushed cookies
    • Ice Cold Hydraulics at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
  • Maple Bacon Churro Fries: Churro fries topped with maple bacon jam, crispy crepe wafers, and maple floss

    • Sunshine Seasons at EPCOT

  • Cookies and Cream Mini Churros
    • Popcorn and Snacks at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

    • Mission Space Cart at EPCOT

Some people love churros at Walt Disney World. I am not one of those people. I will spare you my normal commentary about Disneyland (and Costco) doing it better. What I will say is that I like the idea of combining churros with other things to give them the support needed and mask how underwhelming they are.

Marvelous Milkshakes
