Disney World’s New Summer Perks for APs: Extra Discounts, Free Keepsakes, Coffee Challenge

Walt Disney World has announced a new round of discounts, freebies, and special offerings for the second month of V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days. Here are details of the June 2026 updates via the AP Buzz newsletter kinda thing in the My Disney Experience app, plus quick commentary.

For those who unfamiliar with it, V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days is Walt Disney World’s way of saying ‘thank you’ to the most valued guests (and not “unfavorable” attendees!) for being Annual Passholders. V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days started at the beginning of last month, and run through July 31, 2026. This year’s version of the event is a little over two weeks longer than last year, or a full month longer than 2024.

Thus far, there are some year-over-year improvements, with the most notable being a larger slate of 40% off Walt Disney World restaurants for Annual Passholders (we’ve already taken advantage a few times), along with more of an effort made with the freebies and perks. For full details about the AP appreciation offerings, check out our Guide to V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days. Now let’s dig into what’s new for June 2026…

Joffrey’s Coffee Challenge

Chill out this summer with refreshing cold brews, available only to Annual Passholders.

Take a caffeinated journey throughout Walt Disney World Resort on your quest to find all 5 Passholder beverages. These offerings are available as part of V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days.

How It Works: From June 2 through July 31, 2026, Passholders can purchase an exclusive Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company beverage at each of the 4 theme parks and Disney Springs. To sweeten the deal, Passholders who purchase all 5 drinks—and collect a corresponding stamp—can pick up a special reward from Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company at the end of their coffee crawl.

Each location features a different exclusive drink. To purchase all 5 drinks, Passholders need to visit all 5 locations. Check out the list of seasonal beverages below:

  • Lucky Star Cold Brew at Magic Kingdom: Cold brew with toasted marshmallow syrup and a splash of cream, topped with whipped cream and sweetened cereal with marshmallows
  • Parisian Pebble Cold Brew at EPCOT: Fruity cereal-flavored cold brew with a splash of cream, topped with whipped cream and fruity cereal
  • Rockin’ Cold Brew at Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Cold brew with chocolate and peanut butter flavors and a splash of cream, topped with whipped cream and chocolate peanut butter puff cereal

Annual Passholders who purchase every drink and collect all 5 stamps can pick up a special reward courtesy of Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company! Just bring your stamp card to Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company at The Landing in Disney Springs to claim your reward, while supplies last.

Are you up for the challenge, Passholders? If you can dream it, you can brew it!

Ultimately, V.I.Passholder Days is a savvy strategy for boosting attendance, especially at EPCOT and Animal Kingdom, during the slower summer months, trying to win back alienated ex-Annual Passholders, and more. After a few years of Walt Disney World being able to ‘get away’ with pretty much anything and still see record guest spending and insatiable demand, consumers now have more leverage.

This should be an interesting saga to follow, and it’s almost certain that we haven’t seen the end of Walt Disney World’s efforts to woo back former fans and pull “levers” to incentivize more demand and guest spending, especially if June and July 2026 prove to be as slow as the same months last year.

What we’ll be watching most closely are the extent of the efforts to draw locals to Disney Springs when it’s hot, EPCOT when there’s no festival happening (“Diet EPCOT”), and Animal Kingdom while it’s a construction zone. All in all, V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days should be great for Annual Passholders. Here’s hoping there’s even more to come in the home stretch!
