We first experienced “it’s a small world” holiday during the day. My expectations for the attraction weren’t incredibly high, as I figured it involved a few Santa hats, a new soundtrack, and some Christmas lights strung throughout the attraction. Maybe a little more. To say we were both blown away when we discovered a thorough and elaborate overlay that–to us, huge “fans” of Christmas–was more enjoyable than the original, might even be an understatement. Suffice to say, we were floored. When we returned at night and saw the facade of the attraction illuminated, we were absolutely mesmerized. “it’s a small world” holiday, alone, was worth the trip out to California for Christmas-time at Disneyland. Luckily, this attraction was just icing on top of a proverbial cake that contained A LOT of icing. If you love Christmas and Disney, taking a trip to Disneyland at Christmas-time should be a no-brainer!
