Ticket Prices for Disney Jollywood Nights Party, with Cheaper & Better Dates After Christmas in 2027!

Disney Jollywood Nights Christmas Party tickets are now on sale! This holiday hard ticket event at Hollywood Studios is held on select dates in November and December 2026, plus bonus nights running in early 2027! This lists the cost for every hard ticket night, price increases for DJN, when we’re expecting special event admission to sell out, and more.

Let’s start with the basic details about Disney Jollywood Nights (DJN). This Christmas party is held on select nights in Disney’s Hollywood Studios (DHS), offering a more refined holiday vibe, sights of sparkling décor, sounds of modern beats over classic holiday songs, tastes of craft cocktails and decadent dishes, selfies with rare characters, and stunning stage shows & spectaculars.

Disney Jollywood Nights is a separately ticketed, limited-capacity holiday event on roughly a dozen different nights from November 7, 2026 through January 5, 2027. That’s right–for the first time ever, Walt Disney World is extending the Christmas party into early 2027! As we’ll discuss below, those January dates might be attractive even if you’re “over” Christmas once the new year arrives.

During DJN, you can enjoy five festive hours from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Note that November dates are set for select Saturdays and Mondays, with December events on select Saturdays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. In January, events will take place on select Sundays and Tuesdays.

As a reminder, guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels can begin purchasing Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets as early as today (July 9, 2026) for event dates during their stay. All other Guests may purchase tickets beginning on July 16, 2026. In addition to Disney-owned resorts, this advance purchase window is available to guests of the Swolphin resorts and Shades of Green.

Let’s dig right into the date-specific pricing for the 2026 Disney Jollywood Nights:

  • November 7, 2026 – $179
  • November 14, 2026 – $179
  • November 16, 2026 – $169
  • November 21, 2026 – $189
  • November 23, 2026 – $194
  • November 28, 2026 – $199

December 2026 Dates & Ticket Prices for Jollywood Nights

  • December 5, 2026 – $194
  • December 7, 2026 – $194
  • December 12, 2026 – $199
  • December 14, 2026 – $199
  • December 19, 2026 – $199
  • December 21, 2026 – $199
  • December 23, 2026 – $199

January 2027 Dates & Ticket Prices for Jollywood Nights

  • January 3, 2027 – $194
  • January 5, 2027 – $189

Be advised that the November 7, 2026 Jollywood Nights is before Christmas officially starts at Walt Disney World, which is something to keep in mind if you’re planning a trip. You won’t see the daily entertainment that’s included in admission until the following Friday.

However, the early 2027 dates actually are part of the Christmas 2026 season, which officially runs longer than before. Previously, it was the case that entertainment ended on December 30th or 31st (depending on the park), with the holiday season unofficially and gradually winding down in the weeks that followed.

This holiday season, it should be the case that everything continues until January 6, 2027. We’ll see how things actually play out, as Walt Disney World has not yet announced showtimes or schedules. We’d be somewhat surprised to see some of the bigger-budget entertainment continue until January 6, 2027.

2026-2027 Disney Jollywood Nights tickets are $169 to $199 per ticket. This is the same ceiling as last year, and a $10 increase on the starting price (previously $159). Last year, prices increased for the high end, but not the low end.

For reference, party dates & ticket prices for Disney Jollywood Nights last year were:

  • November 8th – $169
  • November 15th – $169
  • November 17th – $159
  • November 22nd – $169
  • November 24th – $179
  • November 29th – $189
  • December 1st – $179
  • December 6th – $189
  • December 10th – $189
  • December 13th – $199
  • December 17th – $189
  • December 20th – $199
  • December 22nd – $199

As you can see, most dates earlier in the season are $10 to $15 more expensive, with more modest increases or none at all in mid-to-late December. And of course, the January 2027 dates are brand-new, so no comparison is possible there.

It’s nevertheless unsurprising that those dates drop in price versus their counterparts in late December. That’s not the normal trendline for hard ticket events deeper in the season, but it’s also not normal for the Christmas parties to be held after Christmas.

The most interesting wrinkle of the 2026 Jollywood Nights dates is actually the dates that fall in 2027. As noted above, this has never happened before with any holiday hard ticket event, and means that Jollywood Nights will have two more dates than last year.

The second most fascinating aspect of the dates is the gaps between the first and second party, as well as the last event in November and the first in December. This is likely due to these weeks being slower, and hence there being diminished demand for the parties.

It’s nevertheless unfortunate as these are two of the date ranges we strongly recommend to readers in our lists of the Best & Worst Weeks to Visit Walt Disney World in 2026, 2027 & 2028.

Conversely, the Jollywood Nights event dates on December 23, 2026 and both January events are curious. These three dates are among the busiest of the entire year at Walt Disney World, and DHS is the worst park when it comes to wait times. (See the other side of the aforementioned ‘best & worst weeks’ list!)

Closing the park early on those evenings is not a guest-friendly move for those who purchase (very pricey!) normal park tickets. We would’ve otherwise expected Walt Disney World to extend hours on these dates, likely until 10 pm. Here’s hoping that the park opens at 8 am to offset the earlier closing time.

This is something you’ll want to be mindful of if visiting DHS in either of these weeks. Granted, we don’t know if Walt Disney World will be as busy as normal through January 5, 2027, as usually the crowds would die down by that Saturday. There are fewer dates in early 2027 between New Year’s Day, when AP blockouts lift, and when local schools go back into session.

Regardless, we’d recommend erring on the side of caution and buying Jollywood Nights event tickets for December 23, 2026 and at least January 3, 2027. Probably January 5, 2027, too.

Jollywood Nights offers a relatively “easy” way to bypass peak season crowds at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We’d definitely recommend it during that two-week stretch, which is the busiest of the year at Walt Disney World, even if you couldn’t care less about the Christmas entertainment.

When it comes to the January 3 and 5, 2027 Disney Jollywood Nights dates, just think of the party as a glorified After Hours event. Popular rides with short waits is a huge upside! Tickets for the low-crowds event peak at $189, and that’s without entertainment–just the barebones After Hours. If you want to bypass long wait times, we view After Hours (or in this case, Jollywood Nights) as a better and cheaper alternative to Lightning Lane Premier Pass!

Speaking of which, Disney Jollywood Nights guests can enjoy after-hours access to the most popular rides at DHS. After-hours access to some of your favorite rides and coasters including the following:

  • Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
  • The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
  • Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After
  • The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure
  • Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
  • Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets
  • Slinky Dog Dash
  • Toy Story Mania
  • Alien Swirling Saucers
  • Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

Walt Disney World doesn’t stress low waits with Jollywood Nights like they do After Hours, but our experience has been that wait times are minimal during the Christmas Party. Of course, we’ve only ever done the first event of the season in early November, and that’s disproportionately attended by people wanting to experience the holiday entertainment as opposed to attractions.

The dynamic will probably be at least slightly different for the January 2027 dates, which is something to take into account. Still, we would expect low to moderate wait times for all of the headliners, and attractions like Tower of Terror, Runaway Railway, Toy Story Mania, and everything below that to be walk-ons.

Disney Jollywood Nights is one of two holiday season special events at Walt Disney World. The other is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom. Although both are Christmas parties with limited attendance featuring entertainment and other offerings, there are major differences between the two.

If you’re not sure which is right for your family, we’d highly recommend reading Disney Jollywood Nights vs. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. That’s our point-by-point comparison of the characters, fireworks, entertainment, crowds, and more at each event.

You could easily attend both and have unique and memorable experiences–that’s how little overlap there is. If your budget allows, we would recommend doing both. With that said, if we were average Walt Disney World first-time families and could only do one, that would be Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. It is the classic and iconic Walt Disney World holiday party, and it’s fun for guests of all ages and interests. I love DJN, but it’s definitely more niche.

As an annual attendee who hasn’t missed MVMCP since 2007, Disney Jollywood Nights is the more exciting and interesting of the two Christmas parties for me, personally.

A big part of this is that it changed more in its first few years than Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has in the last decade-plus. If I could only choose one to attend as a Walt Disney World regular, it’d be DJN. If you’re debating whether to attend in 2026-2027, it’s worth reading our Disney Jollywood Nights Christmas Party Review.

With that said, Disney Jollywood Nights didn’t change much last year and early signs are pointing to the same for Christmas 2026. It would seem that DJN is now in its “established event” cadence, which probably means a few new characters, merchandise and food for this year. If so, that’ll be unfortunate, as the party could still use some appreciable plussing to put it on par with MVMCP.

Ultimately, I hope that Disney Jollywood Nights ends up exceeding expectations in 2026, now in its fourth season. There’s some excellent entertainment and kernels of great ideas with this Christmas party, but it still needs a bit more refinement to really shine, stand out and sell out.

There are opportunities to incorporate all of the areas of Disney’s Hollywood Studios into the event. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge could have a Life Day celebration. Toy Story Land could do something. These are two of the most popular parts of the park, and yet, they’ve felt dead during Jollywood Nights. And while we’re at it, let’s add Muppet Christmas Carol to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and that courtyard.

Disney Jollywood Nights doesn’t need major improvements like it did after the first year, but there’s still room and the need for growth if this event is going to be comparable to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom. For now, we’re both curious and cautiously optimistic. Here’s hoping Disney Jollywood Nights exceeds expectations again in Christmas 2026!

  1. “The second most fascinating aspect of the dates is the gaps between the first and second party, as well as the last event in November and the first in December. ”

    Excellent catch.

I noticed that too. How odd, as I’d think a large number of folks are come in on a Saturday or Sunday and leave on the following Saturday. Who wants to do a late night party the day you get in or the night before you catch a flight?

Only Disney and usually you, know the reasons and answers. Still…..

    1. It’s gotta be that they’re aiming at locals and have the data to indicate that enough guests this time of year head down on Fridays or Saturday morning and will be able to do that night.

As for the gaps, probably just a matter of what didn’t sell out last year. Not enough demand to sustain additional parties in the gaps. In my view, the solution to that is to keep improving the event–it still could use more to be a bona fide “competitor” to MVMCP.
