Universal Launches 4 New Ticket Deals with Epic Universe Starting at $85/Day in 2026 & 2027

Universal Orlando has launched 4 different ticket deals for now through Christmas 2026 or Spring 2027, depending on whether you purchase the general public or Florida resident special offers. These are all 3-Day, 3-Park tickets, and mark the cheapest Epic Universe has ever been for a shorter duration admission discount. Here are full details along with our commentary.

As basic background, these 4 new ticket discounts for late 2026 and early 2027 replace the previous ‘Buy 3 Days, Get 2 Days Free’ deal, which was available on longer tickets. That and a couple of other special offers just expired yesterday, hence the rollout of these new ticket deals.

They also join the unlimited admission to 2-parks for $199 through December 2026 that is still being offered. That’s a better deal on paper…so long as you can get past the exclusion of Epic Universe. To each their own, but I can’t! You can purchase these ticket deals directly from Universal Orlando, or via authorized third party ticket seller Get Away Today for an even deeper discount! Now, let’s go through the 4 different discounted ticket options…

3-Day One Day Per Park Universal Orlando General Public Promo Ticket

Starting at $99 per day plus tax (prices vary by date), this 3-Day One Day Per Park Promo Ticket entitles one (1) guest to ONE (1) calendar day admission to each of the following Universal Orlando Resort theme parks on three (3) separate calendar days:

• Universal Studios Florida
• Universal Islands of Adventure
• Universal Epic Universe.

Admission to the same park more than once is NOT permitted with this ticket. Ticket is valid over a seven (7) consecutive calendar day period which commences on and includes the date selected. Blockout dates apply. The ticket will expire in full on the expiration date printed on ticket. Unused days will be forfeited.

Blockout Dates:

• Dec. 24, 2026–Jan. 3, 2027
• Feb. 11–19, 2027
• Mar. 26–30, 2027

Ticket not valid for the Hogwarts Express (since it’s not a park-to-park ticket).

2-Day Park-to-Park PLUS 1-Day Universal Epic Universe Promo Ticket

Upgrade your ticket to include park-to-park access and move freely between Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure for two days. Plus, enjoy one day exploring Universal Epic Universe. Experience it all from just $119 per day ($357 total price) plus tax.

Prices vary by day. Valid for Park-to-Park admission to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure on two days, plus one day at Universal Epic Universe. Excludes separately ticketed events. Blockout dates and restrictions apply. The ticket will expire in full on the expiration date printed on ticket. Unused days will be forfeited. Blockout dates are identical to the previous ticket.

3-Day One Day Per Park Florida Resident Promo Ticket

A 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket lets you explore three Universal Orlando parks, each for a full day. Triple your thrills and discover new favorites for just $85 per day plus tax as a Florida Resident. Both this ticket an the next one for Floridians are only available to purchase online, and are not sold at the front gates.

The 3-Day One Day Per Park Florida Resident Promo Ticket entitles one (1) guest to ONE (1) calendar day admission to each of the following Universal Orlando Resort theme parks on three (3) separate calendar days:

• Universal Studios Florida
• Universal Islands of Adventure
• Universal Epic Universe.

Admission to the same park more than once is NOT permitted with this ticket. Excludes separately ticketed events.

Ticket is valid for three (3) calendar days, which commences on and includes the date selected through December 23, 2026. Blockout dates apply from November 23-27, 2026. (That’s the Monday through Friday of Thanksgiving week. I’d avoid those dates, regardless!)

To receive full benefit of the ticket entitlements, first use of this ticket must be on or before December 21, 2026. All ticket usage must be completed on or before December 23, 2026, when the ticket will expire in full. Unused days will be forfeited. Guest must present valid proof of Florida residency at the time of purchase, ticket pick-up, and redemption. Not valid for the Hogwarts Express.

Even though the Florida resident ticket deals expire earlier, one thing that’s notable is that they do not have a “fuse.” Meaning that you could select a start date now, use it once over Labor Day, once around Veterans Day, and again on Festivus (December 23, 2026). With the general public ticket deal, you have a later expiration but a shorter use window from the start date.

2-Day Park-to-Park Florida Resident PLUS 1-Day Universal Epic Universe Promo Ticket

As a Florida Resident, you upgrade to this for just $95 per day ($285 total) plus tax. The 2-Day Park-to-Park Florida Resident PLUS 1-Day Universal Epic Universe Promo Ticket entitles one (1) guest admission to BOTH Universal Studios Florida AND Universal Islands of Adventure theme parks on any two (2) separate calendar days.

The ticket also entitles the same one (1) guest admission to Universal Epic Universe on ONE (1) separate calendar day. Ticket is valid for three (3) calendar days which commences on and includes the date selected through December 23, 2026. Same blockout dates as above apply (Nov. 23-27, 2026).

To receive full benefit of the ticket entitlements, first use of this ticket must be on or before December 21, 2026. All ticket usage must be completed on or before December 23, 2026, when the ticket will expire in full. Unused days will be forfeited. Guest must present valid proof of Florida residency at the time of purchase, ticket pick-up, and redemption.

Our Commentary

This is basically Universal Orlando pulling a page from Walt Disney World’s playbook with the 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Tickets that they’ve offered the last few years. Those have been hugely popular, and also highly successful at propping up attendance at Animal Kingdom, and keeping guests from spending disproportionate time at Magic Kingdom.

Basically, the deal gives significant savings to guests while gaining balanced crowds for Disney. Or in this case, Universal. This is going to have the obvious benefit to Universal of pushing people towards the legacy gates, as opposed to spending “too much” time at Epic Universe, which still struggles with capacity.

Based on some quick math, the average savings here over regular 3-Day, 3-Park tickets is $41 per day, or $123 over the life of the ticket. The exact amount of savings will vary, as Universal ticket pricing (like Disney) is date-based. Still, $123 is the baseline, and that’s pretty substantial!

We have been highly critical of Universal Orlando’s ticket deals over the last year-plus, most of which had durations of 5-7 days in order to offer any kind of meaningful savings (or any savings, period, for that matter). In light of that, we’ll applaud Universal for finally meeting the market on this one. It’s a great deal that offers a fair compromise!

Our main sticking point with past deals has been that Universal Orlando is not a standalone weeklong vacation for most tourists, even with Epic Universe. The average length of stay at Universal Orlando resorts is shorter than at Walt Disney World.

While it’s savvy to some extent to attempt to lock people into longer stays, Universal’s prior approach is overly aggressive. Universal fails to capture a lot of business in the process, because people will simply stay elsewhere rather than being forced into something they don’t want.

There’s a reason Walt Disney World has far more market share, and why promotions structured this way work well for them (and for what it’s worth, even Disney doesn’t require 5-7 days for deals–it’s usually 4 or more nights to “unlock” the maximum savings, with discounts even for 1-3 night stays and 3-day tickets).

It seems like Universal Orlando has finally realized this, and is meeting consumers where they are as opposed to continuing with the ludicrous special offers for only 5+ day tickets or 5-7 night stays. If their most recent earnings call was any indication (especially as contrasted with Disney’s for the same quarter), this approach has failed them. It’s great to see a pivot.

The hang-up for many guests with this ticket will be only one day at Epic Universe, and being “forced” to visit Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. That’s the issue for me and, I assume, many Florida residents who would pounce on this if it were simply 3 days, open access, to any of the 3 parks.

At the same time, I can’t fault Universal for the approach. Again, they’re offering significant savings on this structure. That’s the tradeoff, and it’s one that strikes me as reasonable even if it does not “work” for me, personally.

If our records are correct, these are the third-best deals ever on Epic Universe tickets. Of course, it’s not really an apples to apples comparison. The other tickets were longer duration, which always offer bigger savings, while also being less restrictive on visits to Epic Universe.

The best deal to date was the “Get 7 Days of Park Awesome for the Price of 5 Days” introductory promo. Those 7-day tickets start at $65 per day, making for the cheapest-ever admission option for Epic Universe. Of course, they are also 7 day tickets as opposed to 3 days.

The second best offer was the ‘Buy 3, Get 2 Free’ ticket deal at $73 per day. But again, we’re talking 5 day tickets as opposed to 3 days. Aside from international travelers, most guests probably aren’t in the market for spending 5-7 days at Universal Orlando, unless they are big-time thrill seekers, and also huge Harry Potter and Nintendo fans. I check two of those boxes, and I only “need” 3 days at Universal Orlando. By the fourth day, I’m ready to do something different.

That’s what makes this 3-Day, 3-Park ticket deal the much more reasonable, crowd-pleasing option. Even at $85 to $99 per day, it is arguably a better deal than its $65 to $73 counterparts. The first rule of bargain-hunting is that if you have to buy more of something you don’t want in order to save, you’re not really saving.

For those who are holding out hope that Universal Orlando will soon offer Annual Passes for Epic Universe, this is either another big blow or a step in the right direction, depending upon your perspective.

As we’ve said previously, Universal’s approach to unlocking discount admission to Epic Universe will be gradual. In all likelihood, multi-day Florida resident discounts are a precursor to APs. This is halfway towards that, marking the first Florida resident deal for Epic Universe, albeit with the caveat that you can only use one day at EU.

Accordingly, this means that a fully “unlocked” Florida resident ticket deal is next on deck in early 2027, which probably kicks the can down the road on APs by another 6 months. Not that we were expecting APs this year, anyway.

As discussed in When Will Epic Universe Have Annual Passes?, our realistic expectation for APs is sometime in 2027. Probably after Easter, and potentially much later in the year. I’m skeptical that Universal will be able to hold out on Epic Universe APs until 2028, but they’ve been pretty disciplined thus far. Impressively so, even as they’ve struggled financially.

Ultimately, Universal Orlando is trying to become more of a standalone destination resort, rather than a diversion from Disney. That’s why they invested $7 billion into building Epic Universe, and why they’re already working on aggressive expansion. Comcast needs to pivot to theme parks even harder than Disney does, which is good news for us all!

These new 3-Day, 3-Park Universal Orlando Promo Tickets with Epic Universe are interesting and fair deals, even if they’re not for us by virtue of “locking down” visits to Epic Universe. Like many locals or Annual Passholders, that’s all I care about at this point.

I’d pay more for 3 visits to Epic Universe between now and December 2026, and would even be willing to accept fairly aggressive blockout dates. Being “forced” to visit the old parks makes it a complete non-starter. But for the average tourist looking to split days among Epic Universe, Universal Studios Florida, and Islands of Adventure, this is a fantastic special offer!
