Best 2021 Cyber Monday Disney Deals!

Cyber Monday 2021 is here! Retailers are offering special holiday discounts and their biggest sales of the year–some for today only. This post rounds up the best deals for Disney fans, with a look at the best discounts on everything from Disney books to toys to travel.

It’s been a crazy year and that continues for Cyber Monday. There are some great “surprise” deals, but a lot of Cyber Monday sales are simply a continuation of Black Friday deals, but rebranded. That’s probably the nature of the beast, as most brick & mortar retailers have moved their best deals online, morphing the two deal days into one long weekend, of sorts.

Nevertheless, we’ve scoured Amazon and Disney’s sales for the best Cyber Monday deals on stuff fans will love and have found a ton of great deals. Some of these things are Disney-specific, whereas others are non-Disney items. This includes a lot of fun items for collectors, parents, people doing gift shopping, plus things that will be useful for Walt Disney World or Disneyland vacations. We’ll update this post throughout the day, adding and removing things as Lightning Deals go live or hot deals sell-out…

As always, there’s one retailer that dominates Cyber Monday–and pretty much all online shopping, and that’s Amazon. Most items on sale at deep-discounts there have little or nothing to do with Disney (and as such, are not featured here). So if you want to see all of their special offers, check out Amazon’s Cyber Monday Deals page for the biggest savings and most popular deals.

Many of Amazon’s biggest and best savings come via Lightning Deals, which are available for a limited amount of time or until everything is claimed and are listed by category on that page. One of our top strategies for Cyber Monday is to simply refresh that page and see what new deals appear. They rotate with surprising regularity!

Next, one that’s very specific to Disney fans: shopDisney. On top of normal savings at shopDisney, you can save another 30% off purchases of $200 or more (with 20% or 25% off lower totals) by using code CYBER in ShopDisney’s Cyber Monday Sale. That’s on top of discounts on parks merchandise, toys, holiday decor, etc.

Honestly, 30% off full-priced items is not a huge savings. What we’d recommend doing (and what we’ve done ourselves) is browsing the sale section to find the greatest savings. Stacking the two discounts, plus free shipping (on orders of $75 or more), is the best way to sweeten the deal. With that said, the deals aren’t nearly as good as normal on shopDisney this year–just like at Walt Disney World, the online store has an inventory shortage due to supply chain woes.

As with any of these promotional event sales, some “special offers” are great and some are…not so special. (I’m sorry, but Mickey Mouse Ears, no matter how bejeweled, are not worth $1,000!) This happens every year, but it’s more pronounced with Cyber Monday 2021 due to the aforementioned supply chain and inventory shortages. Consequently, there are fewer deals on consumer electronics, toys, and other popular products.

In combing through the various deals, we’ve actually found higher head-to-head prices on a number of the same “sale” items this year as compared to last year. To some degree, that’s expected–everything is more expensive right now. Nevertheless, we are sharing only those we deem good. We receive a small commission from your purchases, so buying through these links helps support the site. However, neither the price you pay nor our recommendations (or lack thereof) are impacted by that.

Many things on sale for Cyber Monday are also on our Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide for Disney Fans or our Ultimate Walt Disney World Packing List, so double win! Even without special offers, those are great ways to get your holiday shopping started–or create your own Christmas list.

With those main options out of the way, let’s turn to our top finds for Cyber Monday 2021…

Disney Advent Calendar – This festive calendar comes with 11 mini character figures, five card decorations, five sticker sheets, five stickers, and three stickers in three gift boxes.

Cricut Items — Once again, Cricut items are on sale, and once again, I have no idea what any of this stuff is or what it does. Sarah said I should add this. Cricut is apparently great for Disney use somehow?

Disney Christmas PJs — It’s Christmas Eve tradition in my family to get a new set of pajamas to wear to bed and the following morning. It’s a great tradition—if your kids aren’t receptive to receiving clothes for Christmas, introduce them to Jólakötturinn.

Star Wars Christmas PJs – Same idea, but for adults. The Icelandic Yule Cat spares no one, regardless of age!

Walt Disney Archives Mickey Mouse Pop Figures – If you’re a fan of Funko Pops, this is really cool–and a great price. (Even as someone who is a non-fan, this is admittedly neat–just not for me.)

Save 30% on Crocs – So ugly, yet so incredibly comfortable!

Anker Slimline Phone Charger 10,000mAh External Battery Pack — Even before Genie+, we recommended bringing a backup battery pack to charge your phone while using My Disney Experience or social media at Walt Disney World. This one has great capacity and the fastest quick-charging capabilities (it can power iPhones to 50% in under 30 minutes). This is the battery pack we bring to the parks now—perfect for the two of us.

Anker PowerCore Phone Charger 20,000mAh External Battery — An ultra high-capacity charger that’s perfect for keeping multiple phones fully charged while at Walt Disney World, which will be imperative if you’re using Genie+ to booking Lightning Lanes. This one has a huge capacity—enough for the entire family. (Not recommended for just one person.)

Portable Phone Charger 36,800mAh External Battery — An even cheaper and higher capacity battery. Note: this is a no-name brand–we’d strongly recommend buying the Anker options over this.

Gonex Compression Packing Cubes — If you’ve read our Ultimate Disney Parks Packing List knows that I swear by these. They key here is that these are compression packing cubes, which normally cost more and will save you even more space when packing. If you need the suitcase space, this set is highly recommended.

TravelWise Luggage Packing Organization Cubes 5 Pack — Compartmentalizes items in their own “small drawers” to streamline packing & efficiently utilize interior luggage space. I personally prefer the compression variety as it saves a bit more space, but these are excellent strictly for organization.

Personal Neck Fan — The little device is shockingly effective. The technology isn’t perfect yet and battery life could be better, but it’s great for hot days in the parks. If you want to splurge on a nicer and more effective model, check out the TORRAS Coolify Portable Air Conditioner Neck Fan.

American Tourister Minnie Mouse Spinner Set – I’m not a fan of hardside luggage or spinners, but this list isn’t about my personal preferences, it’s about hot deals. This is a great price on the 2-piece set.

American Tourister Star Wars Spinner Set – Same idea, but Star Wars.

Gonex Packable Backpack — Takes up minimal room in your suitcase and more importantly is super lightweight. That minimizes the amount of back-sweat you’ll have to endure from the Florida heat and humidity. (Seriously, it makes a world of difference!)

Wireless Sleep Mask Headphones – Sarah has used “last gen” variations of this product for years, swearing by both sleep masks for travel and ‘cozy’ headphones for getting rest on flights.

Memory Foam Neck Pillow Airplane Travel Kit — This kit also includes a velour cover, sleep mask, and earplugs. Sarah is also a fan of all these things for longer flights, and this is a great discount.

Baby Yoda Bluetooth Speaker – It’s hard to imagine a more adorable portable speaker existing. In addition to being part of the 3 for 2 deal, it’s also 25% off. A great deal!

Star Wars Cuutopia 10-inch Grogu Plush – A “highly huggable” Baby Yoda plush that sounds like it’s basically a pillow themed to the popular Star Wars character rather than a toy.

Disney Villains Monopoly – Our Ultimate Christmas List for Disney Fans has a lot of board games on it, but this was not one of them. However, we’re adding it now thanks to 35% off here. This looks like a fun twist on Monopoly, with Poison Apple and Power cards, plus players hiring infamous Disney villains, and buying and selling Villain Contracts instead of locations.

Nightmare Before Christmas Monopoly – More expensive than the other two, but it appears that’s always the case. A good deal if you’re a fan of Tim Burton’s cult classic film.

Disney-Pixar Monopoly – Another great Monopoly deal.

Sorry! Board Game: Disney Villains Edition This family game combines classic Sorry gameplay with a wickedly fun Disney Villains inspired board, Spell cards, and 16 Villain pawns.

Something Wild! Mickey & Friends Character Card Game — Another fast-paced and easy-to-learn family card game featuring beloved Disney characters and Pop! pocket figures. Somehow, this has flown under our radar until now—despite coming out last year and already having 4,000+ reviews and a stellar 4.5/5 rating on Amazon!

Save $5 on $20 — Amazon has a $5 off deal on $20 worth of select items, most of which are books. It’s not as good as the Black Friday 3 for the price of 2 deal, but there are more eligible titles, including some non-book items. Anyway, here are our top finds in the category.

The Haunted Mansion Little Golden Book — Disney Parks just started doing this new line of Little Golden Books in 2021, and they have been crushing it so far. While we definitely aren’t the target audience for the stories, we absolutely adore the art and style—they’re great for anyone with kids, theme park fans, or anyone who was a kid and has fond memories of Little Golden Book.

Here are other recommended Little Golden Book theme park titles that are part of the $5 off $20:

The Disney Book: A Celebration of the World of Disney — Go behind-the-scenes of Disney’s best-loved animated movies and find out how they were made, follow Disney’s entire history using the timeline, and marvel at beautiful concept art and story sketches.

Disney 5-Minute Christmas Stories — Join in the festivities of the season as Mike and Sully race to light the big Christmas tree, Alice finds the Red Queen’s present, Peter Pan brings Christmas to Never Land, and more!

A Merry Christmas Cookbook — It’s lovely weather for cooking a holiday dish together with your favorite Disney characters. With simple instructions and colorful photos of each treat, spending time indoors has never been so much fun.

Disney Princess Cookbook — From Rapunzel’s Frying Pan Eggs to Ariel’s Sea Turtle Cupcakes, this beautiful cookbook is filled with delicious recipes inspired by the Princesses’ many adventures.

Disney Christmas Storybook Collection — Join Ralph and Vanellope as they throw a Christmas party just for the Bad Guys; trim the tree with Woody, Buzz and the rest of the Toy Story gang; follow Elsa as she tries to create the best holiday ever for her sister, Elsa; and more.

Disney Storybook Collection — A large, 300+ page hardcover book retelling several classic Disney stories complete with artwork from the Disney Archives.

Birnbaum’s 2022 Walt Disney World: The Official Vacation Guide – This is the planning guide that’s authorized by Disney, so the advice tends to not be as good as the Unofficial Guide. However, it’s the 50th Anniversary edition and will make a nice keepsake. $5 off $20 sweetens the deal!

Birnbaum’s 2022 Walt Disney World for Kids – Same idea, but for children. Think of this as the “Blogger Training Guide.”

The Art of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge — This new book about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge offers an inside look at the creation of the Disneyland and Walt Disney World lands, documenting innovations that led to the construction of Galaxy’s Edge. With hundreds of full-color concept artworks, sketches, blueprints, photos, etc., the book reveals Imagineering’s creative process. Also, what could have been.

The Disney Monorail: Imagineering a Highway in the Sky — If you’re a fan of Disney’s monorails (who isn’t?!), you’ll love this. There’s a ton of concept art and photos, as the authors take readers on a historical ride the Highway in the Sky. From Walt Disney’s Progress City ambitions to the future of this innovative transportation system.

(There are other Walt Disney World coffee table books included in the $5 off $20, but they are not objectively good deals since they cost more–making percentage savings lower. You’re likely to find those on sale at deeper discounts at a later date, possibly even closer to Christmas.)

Kinkade Disney Princess Coloring Book – A lack of color defeats the purpose of Kikande artwork, but I guess reasonable minds may disagree on that. Another good deal with the $5 off $20 discount.

Disney Maps: A Magical Atlas of the Movies We Know and Love — Okay, so we can’t actually “recommend” this book since it’s new and we haven’t yet seen it, but it looks awesome, reviews are positive, and we ordered it.

Thomas Kinkade 2022 Disney CalendarYou’ve seen Kinkade’s work if you’ve ever been in an Art of Disney store. It’s the dreamy, improbably-lit paintings that you want to step inside. With their mix of artistry and impressionism, Kinkade’s Disney designs are mesmerizing, and this calendar is a great way to look at them all year long…without spending $1,000+ on a painting!

Thomas Kinkade The Disney Collection 4 in 1 Multipack Puzzles4 puzzles in 1 package, with 500 pieces per puzzle! There are a bunch of regular Kinkade puzzles on sale for Cyber Monday, but this is not one of them. It’s just a “regular” deal, which still seems pretty good.

LEGO Disney Belle’s Winter Castle – Maybe I’m not the best one to critique LEGO sets (although I have built many in my day), but this one seems very rudimentary to me. Perhaps good for younger kids? (Also, solid price.)

LEGO Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Resistance A Wing StarfighterThis is an advanced starship model set with 269 pieces, including several LEGO action figures, each armed with a weapon to get the action started straight away.

Disney Junior Mickey Mouse Musical Train Set – What kid doesn’t love trains?!

Cars 21-Pack of Racers – What kid doesn’t like racing toy cars around the room, creating obstacles and slip and fall hazards throughout the house?!

Disney Frozen Elsa’s Ice PalacePlayset with lights, sounds, and the hit song, “Let It Go.” Discovery Buttons “magically” reveal the staircase with lights and sounds, and also grow the castle with snowflake action. Includes Elsa and Olaf figures. (Be sure to clip the coupon here!)

Mickey Mouse Watch — I like the all-grey style and whimsical yet classic Mickey Mouse face. A playful design that’s classy and not too eye-catching. (Be sure to clip the coupon!)

Echo Mickey Mouse Wall Clock — A relatively new smart device that uses Alexa to set voice timers and more. Great for using when paired with an Echo, and a timeless look that’s also stylish and modern.

Astronaut Mickey Mouse Stainless Steel Thermos — Zak bottle is vacuum-insulated to keep drinks cold for up to 12 hours. Perfect for travel, leak-proof, and featuring great Mickey Mouse art (there are other designs, but that’s the best).

Fire 7 Kids Tablet – An educational and entertainment tool for kids with parental controls, goal-setting, time limits, plus 1 FREE year of Amazon Kids+ with access to over 20,000 apps, games, books, videos, audiobooks, and educational content from PBS Kids, Nickelodeon, Disney, and more.

TRAVEL DEALS

Get Away Today Walt Disney World & Disneyland Ticket DealsThrough December 1, 2021, you can score Adults at Kids’ Prices on Disneyland tickets. The Disneyland deal can also be stacked with hotel bundles to save even more. Perhaps most significantly, these tickets are valid through the end of 2022–meaning that you’re also locking in ticket prices now before the inevitable February 2022 price increase.

Frontier Airlines: Save Up to 91% Off — Use promo code CYBER for airfare discounts of up to 91% off on select routes, including some to MCO. There are a lot of restrictions and limitations, but it’s nonetheless worth checking out.

We do not like Frontier Airlines at all, but the savings here are undeniable if you happen to have a route that is deeply discounted.

Okay, that’s it for right now. There are a bunch of other great deals…and far more even “meh” offers. We recommend opening the Amazon Cyber Monday Deals homepage, and browsing the ‘Deals of the Day’ and the ‘Lightning Deals’ for yourself a bit. There are several great deals in both categories, but that doesn’t pertain to Disney, so it’s not listed here. Also, if you want to help out with the process, please share any Disney-relevant (either actual Disney products or ones that are useful when going to the parks) deals you’ve found in the comments!
