Have a question about planning a trip to Disney or something you’ve read here? Hopefully this blog can help! We’ve visited every Disney resort around the world, from Walt Disney World to Tokyo Disneyland, have stayed in nearly every Disney-owned hotel in the world, and have dined at the majority of Disney restaurants.
Presumably, most of you coming to this site are here for Walt Disney World or Disneyland trip planning advice. Common questions you have can probably be answered by posts we already have written that pertain to these topics and contain links to most critical vacation planning info.
If you’re trying to plan a Walt Disney World trip, visit our Walt Disney World Trip Planning Guide. If planning a Disneyland trip, check out our Disneyland Trip Planning Guide. If you look on the right-hand sidebar, you’ll also find links to other key planning-related posts. You can subscribe to our FREE email newsletter here.
If you have a media request, advertising, or marketing inquiry, please contact [email protected].
Sorry, but we do not respond to emails pertaining to planning. If you have questions pertaining to trip planning or other topics, leave your question in a relevant post or contact your travel agent. Unfortunately, we cannot respond to emails soliciting advice regarding Disney. Please understand that doing so would take several hours per day, consuming too much time better spent writing blog posts and planning resources for all.
If you need comprehensive or personalized trip planning advice and help booking your trip, we recommend contacting an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner (Disneyspeak for a travel agent). Try our sponsor, Be Our Guest Vacations.
We are just passionate Disney fans writing a blog about our experiences with advice based on those experiences. We are not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company nor is this an official Disney blog, so if you have questions or complaints about a booking with Disney or anything of that sort, you’ll want to contact Disney Guest Services for that.
Thanks,
Tom Bricker

Hi Tom, how are you?
I am thinking about staying at a Disney Resort Hotel next year during february. Much probably, The Pop Century.
This time I am not going to purchase the Dining Plan. My question is related to the hotel´s food court: Could I get marmaled or honey for my breakfast? Could I take some plastic forks, knifes or spoons? Could I use the toaster?
I am just buying the Mug in order to get coffee and sodas any time I want. I think that buying the mug gives me a kind of acces to use all the facilities like those at the food court. Am I right?
Thank you,
Ignacio
Im sorry about my English (Im from Argentina)
Hi, Im looking at visisting Disney world and i am looking at either April or Early October 2020 , which will be the best for Crowds ?
Good day Tom! Are you able to recommend any reputable local companies that provide mobile scooters for the parks at Disney World? Many thanks in advance!
Hi,
I would like to discuss with you an opportunity to place branded campaigns on your website.
Campaigns’ CPM rates range up to $5 CPM for Display Banners and up to $18 CPM for Native Video format. All campaigns are delivered by premium brands, such as Starbucks, BMW, Uber, Loreal, McDonald’s, and etc..
After taking a close look at your website I can say that you’re a perfect match for our advertising strategy. I’d be happy to discuss the next steps.
Look forward to hearing from you.
trying to surprise my sister and her husband who are celebrating their 30th anniversary and her retirement (end of September, 2019) by upgrading their hotel ..they are currently booked at Pop Century…i want to keep them on the skyliner transport line since it may be open, however, your caribean beach resort review is less than average it seems as compared to pop century… any recommendations/ideas?
thanks!

Hi Tom and Sarah, Have you heard any information on how the FastPass Tiers will change at Hollywood Studios once Star Wars:Galaxy’s Edge Opens Up? My wife and I are planning a trip for Mid-November as a 15th anniversary/40th B-Day Bash….without the children haha.
Hi Tom,
It was nice meeting you and Sara last August on the boat from Disney Springs to Port Orleans Riverside. At one time you had photography tips / equipment recommendations on the blog. I need to upgrade from my Nikon D50, but there have always been other priorities that intervein. I’d like to take advantage of the latest technologies without breaking my limited bank and I would like to stick with Nikon. Can you point me to any photography equipment recommendation posts you’ve done recently? Love the work you do on the site/blog and I always look forward to your photos!
Thanks,
We are going this October but will NOT go to the Halloween party because our little ones are scared of these types of decorations and such. Will the fireworks on the nights when they are not having the halloween event be the “regular” fireworks?
thanks
Any info as to when we can start booking reservations to SWGE restaurants?
Love the information it’s very helpful.
Hi Tom,
I love your blogs posts. Since the QS dining plan dropped the dessert from the meal credit, but added a milkshake option as a drink, I’m sure I’m not the only person interested in where I can take advantage of this. So many restaurants in the parks only seem to offer frozen lemonade-type drinks. Can you do one of your great posts about the best value for a QS meal to take advantage of the yummy shakes that must be around? Thanks for all that you do!
Hi Tom. I just thought you might me interested to note that in the UK the Free Disney Dining for 2020 is going live on 25th April. link below

Can’t wait to book for August 2020
This is such a helpful blog, thank you! I was just wondering, when I go to the Disney website to get a hotel package that includes early admission, fast passes, beverages etc. it asks how many nights. We were thinking 2 nights and only one day at the park. We want to check in the night before so we can be there early in the morning and of course sleep there again that night so we can be there til closing and not have to get our bags and move into a hotel in Tokyo at midnight. When you put in the number for 2 nights , it automatically puts 2 park days. If I purchase the Disney hotel or Hilton seperately from the tickets, will I still get fast passes from the hotel??? I’m having so much trouble buying a package from the official site, it keeps saying it’s not working. Also, the Miracosta says it is always sold out?? Thanks for any help trying to find out HOW I can get a hotel and one park day with fast passes!
Just read this on another Disney blog-Seems they are eliminating evening extra magic hours. Is this true?
Really disappointing if they go ahead with this.

Tom, I think you should clarify a point for your readers. The new ‘no loose ice” ban article makes it appear ice cubes are absolutely prohibited. Since hotel rooms don’t have freezers, “blue ice” is not an option. Via email to Disney, I’ve verified that ice cubes are acceptable if they are inside bags (such as ziplocks, for example). Please make this clear to your readers. Thanks for all the info you provide!
Hi Tom,
I just wanted to say a big THANKYOU for all your tips regarding Disneyworld, Orlando. I read so many of your articles and took notes (possibly did more “study” than I have ever done in my life) and we ended up having the best couple of days on our honeymoon recently! We got to see so much and went on all the rides we wanted to go on (even Pandora twice which we were ecstatic about) as well as being able to experience the kiss goodnight at the magic kingdom (I loved it so much!). I have been recommending this website to all my friends who have disney trips planned coming up & even some random people I’ve spoken to as I couldn’t believe how helpful it was. Thanks so much again! Your blog was a godsend for us!!
