Disney California Adventure Golden Zephyr Photo

Although it’s a pretty basic off the shelf attraction, Disney California Adventure’s Golden Zephyr is a fun attraction, and is a photographer’s delight. In the afternoon you can achieve shots like this the the Golden Zephyr speeding past a blurred Mickey’s Fun Wheel, and in the evening you can capture the motion of the lights on the cables holding each of the ride vehicles. It’s a great area for photography.

Technical details: shot with a hand-held Nikon D3100 and Tamron 17-50mm F/2.8 lens at a moderately slow shutter speed to demonstrate motion. See our guide for more photography equipment recommendations.
