Disney World Reveals New 2026 Halloween & Holiday Deals: Up to 30% Off Resorts, Free Park Hopper & More!
Walt Disney World has announced 4 new resort discounts for October through December 2026, including one for free Park Hopper ticket add-ons! This shares deal details, why you need to prepare ASAP, and words of warning that these special offers might be weak, plus the potential for future flash sales on travel dates in August & September 2026.
As background, Walt Disney World released its last ‘wave’ of discounts for 2026 vacations this summer and fall back between mid-March and early April. That included special offers for Annual Passholders, Floridians, Disney+ subscribers, and the general public. These special offers run between now and October 3, 2026 and can still be booked (minus Free Dining, which ended early).
Generally speaking, the upcoming discounts for Halloween and Christmas are worse than what’s currently available. That’s typical of the October through December deals, which are almost always the weakest and most restrictive. And for good reason!
The upcoming late 2026 special offers encompass Fall Break, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, all of which are busy holiday travel weeks. Even the slower dates in between are popular among Walt Disney World fans, resulting in higher hotel occupancy even on dates when park attendance and crowd levels are average or lower.
Disney simply does not need to discount aggressively to fill rooms from Fall Break through Christmas. Bookings are already strong. By contrast, there’s much more availability for much of the summer and off-season, and that’s despite those dates being sooner.
Here are the specific deals that are available right now if you’re still planning a visit for the summer or start of the Halloween season, which begins in early August 2026:
- 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket: Starting at $99/day for visits through October 3, 2026. One park per day, one admission per park. For guests who fit squarely within the parameters of this ticket, it’s an incredible deal. See Walt Disney World’s Biggest Ticket Deal for Everyone is Back & Better, Including Magic Kingdom in 2026 for full details, as well as advice on hacking this deal, pros & cons, etc.
- Stay Longer & Save More Room Deal: Stays of 5+ nights at Walt Disney World resort hotels can save up to 30% through October 3, 2026. See Stay Longer & Save More: 30% Off Disney World Resorts in Summer & Fall 2026 for more.
- Deep Disney+ Discount on Rooms:Â This is the big one, and it returns for a second straight summer with more dates. Unfortunately, room inventory has largely sold out for this discount, but we fully expect it to return for 2027. See Deep Disney+ Discount on WDW Resorts in Summer 2026.
- Florida Residents and Annual Passholders: As always, the best deals are reserved for Florida Residents (up to 35% off) and Annual Passholders (up to 40% off). See Up to 40% Off Disney World FL & AP Resort Room Deals for Summer to Fall 2026Â for more.
There are some truly great deals to be had in the coming months. If you’re still debating when to visit, it’ll almost certainly be cheaper to go between now and October 3, 2026 than it will the dates thereafter.
Although sticker prices do not bear this out, summer has become the cheapest time to visit Walt Disney World. The months of June through August are when the biggest and best discounts are typically available, and this year once again offers several stackable special offers that bring prices down to 2018 or 2019 levels. That’s the reality of summer pricing, regardless of what rack rates suggest.
All of this brings us to Walt Disney World’s teaser for the Halloween and Holidays special offer:
Disney+ WDW Room Discount
Celebrate the best time of the year in the Disney Resorts Collection. Staying on property comes with conveniences that make vacation days feel simpler from start to finish, including complimentary transportation, early theme park entry and more.
Eligible Disney+ subscribers enrolled in the Disney+ Perks program can receive a free Park Hopper add-on and save up to 25% on rooms when purchasing a 4-night, 4-day room-and-ticket package.
This Walt Disney World discount is available for eligible Disney+ subscribers to book beginning June 25, 2026 for stays the following dates:
- September 25 through October 8, 2026
- October 19-31, 2026
- November 15-28, 2026
- December 13-24, 2026.

Disney+ Deal is Best Quasi General Public Promo
This Disney+ promo will likely be the best discount for anyone who is not a Florida resident or Annual Passholder.
If you’re not already a Disney+ subscriber but your travel dates match the above parameters, you still absolutely subscribe right now. Unlike Annual Pass discounts, you don’t really need to “crunch the numbers” to determine if you would save more by one member of your party purchasing a Disney+ subscription if you don’t already have one.
I can answer that for you right now: you almost certainly will. The cost of Disney+ for two months is negligible, whereas this could save you several hundreds of dollars. The additional savings will easily exceed the additional cost.
Do not wait until this deal is released tomorrow morning, as there’s always a lag between subscribing to Disney+ and having access to the deals. And since the Disney+ special offers tend to sell fast, that lag can be the difference between booking exactly what you want and being shut out completely!
General Public WDW Room Discount
Guests can also save up to 20% on select rooms with the Walt Disney World Resorts Collection this holiday season. This offer is available to book starting June 25, 2026.
The general public room only discount of up to 20% off will be valid for stays October 4, 2026 through December 24, 2026.
One thing to note about this general public discount is that last year it excluded a lot of dates, and had different tiers not just for resorts (Value, Moderate, Deluxe), but also for days of the week. Sunday through Thursday nights offered superior savings, whereas weekends were worse.
It was a very complicated discount chart. Don’t be surprised if that’s the case again; the above description might make it sound much more straightforward than it actually is.
AP & Florida Resident WDW Room Discounts
There are special deals for Florida Residents and Annual Passholders, too! Booking starts on June 25, 2026.
Florida Residents can save up to 25% for stays the following dates:
- October 19-October 31
- November 15-November 28
- December 13-December 24
Annual Passholders can save up to 30% on select rooms with the Disney Resorts Collection this holiday season from October 4, 2026 through December 24, 2026.
No matter where you’re from, get ready to dash through the snow as you laugh and play all the way to Disney World this winter. There’s plenty of fun to be had as you ride your favorite attraction and sing your favorite Disney song this holiday season, so make sure to check your list twice and start planning now.
Start Preparing NOW!
If you’re already overwhelmed or want someone else to do the homework for you, use a travel agent. Any travel agent! We recommend requesting a FREE no obligation quote from Be Our Guest Vacations, an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and having them book for you.
They’ll assist you with the planning process, help you choose the most economical dates, best add-ons, etc. Notably, they also monitor reservations and can retroactively apply new discounts if a better deal is released to save you more money. Similarly, they’ll help you with discount comparison shopping so you book the best discount for you, not just the catchiest one.
Walt Disney World makes these special offers confusing on purpose so that comparison shopping is more difficult. This is done in a bunch of little ways, which I assume is for marketing purposes or to appeal to different consumer psychologies. I really don’t know. Regardless, we highly recommend using a travel agent–even if it’s not Be Our Guest Vacations. (Just don’t use a Big Box or MLM–see Why You Should Use A Disney Travel Agent for more.)
If you are going to go the travel agent route for the October through December deals, you need to do so ASAP. Don’t expect to request a quote on June 25, 2026 at 8 a.m. and receive an immediate response–you need to get your ducks in a row now. My other advice is to provide them with backup options.
As with all Walt Disney World special offers, some resorts, room types and dates won’t be available. Flexibility is the name of the game when it comes to deals like this. That’s doubly true during October through December, the most popular stretch of the year at Walt Disney World.
If you want to ‘do it yourself’ but aren’t sure which resort to book, check out our new Rankings of ALL Resort Hotels at Walt Disney World from Worst to Best. Several of the resorts with the biggest savings are in the top 10!
When it comes to the deal(s) that’ll be released on June 25, 2026, that’s all we know. Nothing about participating resorts, excluded room categories, anything else.
One thing I would reiterate is that October through December tends to be the highest occupancy stretch of the year at Walt Disney World, and the discounts have gotten progressively worse over the last couple of years.
As we frequently point out, Walt Disney World doesn’t offer deals out of the goodness of its heart–they do so to fill unsold rooms. If bookings are trending positively (and they are per the last earnings call), Walt Disney World will have less of an incentive to offer good deals or discount as many rooms.
Accordingly, we’d expect many resort, room, and date combos to max out at only 10% off for the general public, regardless of the headline discount. Even with those relatively meager savings, we’d also expect limited availability.
Suffice to say, there are times when you can sit back and wait to book deals as opposed to being part of the early morning rush on drop day. Despite the not-so-stellar savings, this is not one of them. Fans who are planning on visiting Walt Disney World during the best time of the year will take a “something is better than nothing” outlook, and we’d encourage you to do the same by booking ASAP.
Alternatively, you could visit over the next few months, when Walt Disney World is much cheaper. Of course, it’s also much hotter, and your hotel’s air conditioning may or may not work. That’s the tradeoff of traveling during the summer to take advantage of Walt Disney World’s biggest bargains of the year versus waiting for more desirable seasons.
So what gives? Why would Walt Disney World offer lesser deals than last year given the scorching summer sales? One straightforward explanation is what we discussed at length last year in Why Summer is the New Low Crowds Season at Walt Disney World.
The whole point of that post is that attendance and occupancy are not down across the board; that this phenomenon is confined to the summer. This is why we cautioned readers against wanting to confirm their own narratives about Disney pricing out the middle class, higher prices, fewer perks, or Disney’s declining reputation.
The only explanations that work for the crowds slump are ones unique to summer. Because the rest of the year, especially the cooler months, is getting comparatively busier due to guests shifting their trips away from what used to be the summer tourist season.
That alone could explain the increase in discounts for May through September, but a decrease in deals for October through December. (Expect a similar story in January through March; the discount decrease then might be even more pronounced as winter crowds increase.)
Speaking of which, we still wouldn’t rule out more aggressive discounts for August and September 2026, even after the release of these October through December 2026 deals.
As you might recall, there was a “Priceline Happiest Price on Earth Flash Sale” last year in the first week of July that offered stellar savings. There have also been several Disney+ Perks limited room discounts over the last couple of years.
If there is another sale for the off-season, I’d expect the best deals to be on the following resorts (asterisks indicate Disney+ deal eligibility):
- All Star Resorts*
- Port Orleans Riverside Resort*
- Coronado Springs Resort
- Family Suites at Art of Animation Resort*
- Saratoga Springs Resort*
- Old Key West Resort
- Animal Kingdom Lodge*
- Cabins at Fort Wilderness
This list is based on a mixture of the aggressive Disney+ deal, plus previous inclusion in aggressive discounts and Priceline Express Deals. Speaking of which, it’s entirely possible there’s not another last-minute discount for the off-season travel, and that instead, Walt Disney World opts to unload unsold room inventory via Priceline blind bookings. We’ll also be watching that closely and will keep you posted!
Finally, I wouldn’t expect this summer’s aggressive Disney+ deal to be surpassed. That was really good and sold out fast; if Disney learned any lesson from that, it’s probably that they don’t need to dangle 50%+ off. But we shall see!
We’ll be watching closely during ‘Christmas in July’ and will keep you posted about any aggressive flash sales that might be released. Subscribe to our free email newsletter for instant notifications when any Walt Disney World discounts are released or rumored!

Hmm why exclude the timeframe that includes dec 5-11? I thought those were lower crowd dates?
While the “Special Offers for Merry Holiday Savings” is described here: https://disneyparksblog.com/wdw/holidays-at-disney-world-christmas-lights-deals-and-more/
as of 6/24 1pm Eastern time, the actual offer has NOT been yet added to disneyplus.com/perks
Once again, Disney shows it’s not yet “One Disney”. Currently, they are more ready to talk about pixie dust than they are ready to actually sprinkle it into the correct places. This is a sign to me that it’s time for a long break. See you in 2027.
How does a discount work if a trip includes some but not all of the included dates? For example, if a trip is December 20-28, would you get park hoppers for the 20-24 or are you just not eligible?
Tom, any idea of what the timing on these releases has been historically? Midnight, 7 AM, something else? I’m interested to see the general public discounts. Appreciate it!
