Up to 40% Off Disney World FL & AP Resort Room Deals for Summer to Fall 2026
Walt Disney World has released resort room-only discounts for late Summer to early Fall 2026 for Annual Passholders and Florida residents offer savings of up to 40% off most dates through October 3, 2026. This post shares the details of these special offers, best dates to save the most money, plus sample pricing, commentary, analysis & other info.
In case you’ve forgotten, there are currently other special offers for both Florida residents and Annual Passholders that run between now and July 29, 2026. Generally speaking, this newer discount is better; not because it’s a higher percentage savings, but because there are lower resort rack rates for the post-summer off-season in the second half of August and September than there are for summer months–but May does come close.
Those aren’t the only deals available for booking right now–just the various special offers for Annual Passholders and Florida residents. For everything else, see All Current Walt Disney World Discounts for 2026. That covers promos for the general public, Florida residents, military members, and everyone else prior to the latest round of deals for August and beyond. So that’s worth checking out if you’re debating a trip in the next several months…
Per Walt Disney World, here are the deal details: Annual Passholders can stay in the magic and save on rooms at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels—for most arrivals from July 30 to October 3, 2026.
- Save up to 40% for stays of 4 or more consecutive nights
- Save up to 35% for stays of 1 to 3 consecutive nights
This offer is valid for the Disney Resorts Collection hotels listed below. View the chart to explore savings.
Annual Passholders must present a valid Walt Disney World AP at check-in. Additional per-adult charges may apply if more than 2 adults per room at Value, Moderate and Deluxe Resorts and Studios at Deluxe Villa Resorts. Maximum length of stay under this deal is 14 nights.
Offer excludes the following room types: 3-Bedroom Villas; Moderate & Deluxe Resort Suites; Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge; and Bungalows and Penthouses at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
You can book this Annual Passholder discount yourself on Walt Disney World’s official website here.
Likewise, Florida residents can stay in the magic and save on rooms at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels—for most arrivals from July 30 to October 3, 2026.
- Save up to 35% for stays of 4 or more consecutive nights
- Save up to 30% for stays of 1 to 3 consecutive nights
This offer is valid for the Disney Resort hotels listed below. View the chart to explore savings.
Proof of Florida residency required at check-in. Otherwise, same terms & conditions apply as the AP deal, including the resort and room category exclusions. You can book this deal on DisneyWorld.com here.
Alternatively, if you want to take advantage of either discount but want someone else to do the work, we’d recommend requesting a FREE no obligation quote from Be Our Guest Vacations, an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and having them book for you. They will happy to assist you with the planning process, help you choose the most economical dates, best add-ons, and so forth. Notably, they also monitor reservations and can retroactively apply new discounts if a better deal is released to save you more money.
One thing to note before we get going is that both the Annual Passholder and Florida resident room rates cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion, except the Kids Eat FREE All Year in 2026 at Walt Disney World special offer.
With this, guests will get a FREE Disney Dining Plan for their kids (ages 3 to 9 at the time of travel) when purchasing a Disney Dining Plan as part of their package for the other members of their party (ages 10 and up at the time of travel). Kids get whatever the adults buy.
This sweetens the deal on every special offer for 2026 for young families, making the DDP pretty much a no-brainer for parents with kids ages 3-9. It’s a fantastic option for doing character meals and other non-Signature table service restaurants (we recommend the standard tier over the quick-service level).
Even though you’ll have to pay to get the Disney Dining Plan for the adults in your party, adding this to your package is going to result in superior savings versus paying out of pocket for food. That should be true even if you do not maximize the Disney Dining Plan.
Here’s what we found for best available rates for this Annual Passholder discount:
This search is for the night of September 2, 2026, which is part of the “Value” rate season at Walt Disney World. On the rack rate chart spectrum, this is one of the cheapest times of the year to visit Walt Disney World in 2026. Note that rates would’ve been even better had this been a 4 or more night stay, at least theoretically. That makes it trickier to find full availability and at the lowest rates, so my sample search is only for a single night.
With that said, rates do vary on different days of the week. Friday through Sunday nights are all going to be more expensive, and less consistent. In general, Friday and Saturday will be the most expensive days of the week, with Sunday through Thursday costing less–but still more than Monday through Wednesday nights. Holiday weeks are also more expensive. Basically, room rates are higher any time when kids are out of school.
For more on timing your trip to coincide with the lowest prices, see When’s Cheapest to Visit Walt Disney World in 2026? That covers price increases and other variables that impact the cost of a vacation beyond just room rates.
My assessment this discount is pretty positive. This deal has been one of the best of the year for the last few years, thanks in equal parts to it coinciding with the late summer and early fall off-season (meaning better selection), having lower rack rates to begin with, and an above-average savings chart.
It was better last year, at least for Annual Passholders, as it included a limited selection of dates deeper into the holiday season (October 20 to November 1, November 17 to November 24, and December 6 to December 22). That was relatively unprecedented and availability was constrained, so I’m not surprised Walt Disney World didn’t do it again. Would’ve been nice to get a headstart on booking those dates, though!
One big winner with both of these deals is young families in that sweet spot age range for the Kids Eat Free promo. Thanks to that, those guests should get a better deal in 2026 with either the FL or AP deal than they would’ve last year in the absence of the Kids Eat Free special offer.
Obviously, that only applies to a subset of guests. And others might feel left out by virtue of not qualifying, especially parents with tweens just above the cutoff age with small appetites. It technically leaves us out, too, albeit on the lower end of the spectrum, so not nearly as painful. Still, we love to see year over year price decreases–even if only for some guests!
There are $115 Value Resort prices, and $145 for Pop Century is not bad at all. Moderates are in the sub-$200 starting range is great. Several other Deluxe Resorts in the $300s and $400s per night! Those are really good rates, especially if you stack them with the Kids Eat Free promo.
Generally speaking, it’s difficult to complain about these prices, although we do notice several hotels are about +$5 to +$20 more expensive per night than last year. At this point, it’s difficult to tell whether that’s a result of our specific searches or across the board rack rate increases that more or less track with inflation.
As always, it pays to be an Annual Passholder. Florida resident rates are still very good, but not quite as attractive. Also, there’s the requirement that you book longer for maximum savings, which just isn’t realistic for locals, most of whom probably prefer shorter staycations.
If you’re still not sure of which hotel to book, be sure to check out our new Rankings of ALL Resort Hotels at Walt Disney World from Worst to Best. Several of the resorts with the biggest savings are in the top 10!
Between those prices and the on-site perks, it’s tough for us to justify staying off-site–at least in budget or mid-tier accommodations. The circumstances would be different if we wanted a luxury hotel, large vacation home, or something more novel.
But the days of doing one of the standard Flamingo Crossings hotels, or even Disney Springs, are pretty much over as long as discounts like this are offered–and have availability (not always the case when booking last minute!).
When it comes to on-site perks, don’t underestimate the value of Early Entry and (potentially) Extended Evening Hours. We’ve found that many fans dismiss the former due to it being “only” 30 minutes, but we’ve found Early Entry to be incredibly advantageous (see our Guide to Early Entry at Walt Disney World).
For those who are eligible, Extended Evening Hours is absolutely fantastic (see our Guide to Extended Evening Hours at Walt Disney World for strategy and other info). We wouldn’t recommend booking a Deluxe or Villa Resort just for Extended Evening Hours, but if you’re on the fence or thinking about a split stay…it’s a good idea. Consider putting that money towards upgrading your accommodations instead of something like After Hours.
Oh, and don’t forget the return of the on-site advantage of ride reservations. If you’re going to purchase the new line-skipping service, having the 7-day window (plus length of stay–up to 14 days) is huge. It’s probably going to be make-or-break when it comes to booking popular rides. See our Lightning Lane Multi-Pass at Walt Disney World FAQ.
Finally, for the Floridians who are driving or anyone else renting a car, there’s also the added bonus of not having to pay for parking. Most off-site hotels still charge for parking, so that’s something to consider if you’re debating Disney hotels or something at Universal Orlando, Flamingo Crossings, Disney Springs, Bonnet Creek, etc.
Ultimately, if you’re an Annual Passholder who is eager for late summer getaway to Walt Disney World, these deals are really strong. There’s a surprising amount for repeat visitors to experience, from the tail end of Cool Kids’ Summer to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets, Mandalorian & Baby Yoda Mission on Millennium Falcon, enhanced Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and more.
Just not major marketable new additions, but honestly, that’s probably for the best for us from the perspective of crowds and demand! On that note, one thing to keep in mind is that last year’s last-minute deals offered scorching savings that surpassed 40% for select resorts. Those rates were last-minute and more limited, but we’ll nevertheless be keeping an eye out and will notify subscribers of our free email newsletter when any Walt Disney World discounts are released or rumored!

Surprise, they raise the advertised rack rate by 40% then offer a 40% discount to certain qualifying groups. It is such a gimmick, and runs dangerously close to violating Florida’s promo rules. If you book through DVP directly or a Disney Diamond Earmark vacay planner they’ll get you deals just as good without the hassle.
Lots of tempting options for our mid-August trip! Numerous club levels and 1 beds at about $600/night. Thanks for the heads up. I decided to trade in my 1 bed at the Boardwalk for the Riviera. We’ve never stayed there before – usually too expensive!
I was surprised that my AP discount for POP only saved me $20.50 over my bounce back.
I almost didn’t use my bounce back opportunity expecting that my AP would be so much better.
So glad I did because right now I can’t even find availability for the cabins (which I got for under $300 a night with bb).
The lesson here boys and girls is ALWAYS take advantage of your bb. You can change it later if something better comes along.
In the past we generally do POP for a week then WL for a week and this year thought for a change to end with the cabins but I’m very tempted to do something crazy.
The All Stars (whose rooms are the same size as POP) are so cheap, that we could do the same two weeks PLUS an extra day and save over a $1,000. Since we have the luxury of a car I’m considering it. We’ll still be riding the skyliner during our stay.
I’d really appreciate some opinions.
Nothing available for AP or even the regular discount, early September. I gave up & hope something becomes available, later.
Switched our 30% off on campsites to 40% off in September. $99 for the top tier site is a great price! Could have (and normally do) gone with cheaper site because everything was available- but we love the Premium Meadows at this price! We go 5/6 times a year (out of state AP) and bring our MH or catch a POR deal sometimes since we have our puppy.
I was just waiting for this – thanks for the heads up this morning!
I just want to say thanks Tom for always letting us know immediately about these great deals when they come up. I was able to call right away this morning and switch our August trip from the 30% off Summer deal to the 40% off AP deal and saved $1,098.95 for Saratoga Springs! We have a great bounce back offer for our April trip at French Quarter. Anyway, because of you, we have gotten the best deals for most of our trips over the years and we really appreciate it. The information that you provide is for us all is amazing! Keep it up please, and just wanted to send a big THANK-YOU!!
Tried getting the AP deal for my trip in late September and the inventory for the deal was terrible! Ended up going with the regular 30% deal because we couldn’t get anything at Coronado with our AP deal. I have never had an issue with inventory on an AP deal like this.
These are some fantastic AP deals–I can’t remember the last time I saw the Poly 35% off! But it doesn’t seem to beat the bounceback rate I already have booked there for my annual solo Labor Day weekend trip. I’d extend it, but I’m taking the Brightline from MCO to catch a cruise on the Destiny afterwards. It’s tempting me to sneak in another weekend in September though!
This isn’t looking good at all for me. No All Star Movies in the list for my dates, and the cheapest one–aside from the campsites–is POR, at $228/night, which is somewhat higher than my current, non-discounted ASM reservation, and a lot higher than my Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek reservation. No, the latter does not offer Early Entry, DDP, etc., but we are talking about a roughly $500 difference, and parking *is* included there, so that difference will hold. I get a 1 BD with a washer/dryer, and deluxe-type amenities like a lazy river and miniature golf course. I was willing to let that go to stay on property if the prices were close to equivalent, but I can’t even pull up a single value resort. I did take my last date out and re-ran the search; lo and behold, POR drops to $205/night, and Pop shows up (though for $156). Timing is everything, I suppose.
That’s a big bummer–totally see why you’d keep the Wyndham in that case. I’ve stayed on the hotel side and it’s really nice!
With regard to your subsequent search…did you try a single night after that? Or have you considered booking the first stretch and then just checking back later to see what happens? Might be easier to pick up the straggler night if you already have the bulk of the stay booked. Good luck!
@Tom: Currently, the non-discounted preferred $191/nt rate for the same timeframe and number of nights is the same as what I booked a week ago as a placeholder, so even 30% off would’ve been nice. I searched dates around it, just in case (though we got a killer airfare for our dates that we can’t replicate and is about half what current rates are), as well as stays of 5-7 nights (we’re booked for 8), and no ASM rooms showed as available under the AP deal.
I’m going to keep my current ASM reservation for the time being, to see if inventory changes. Does that tend to happen? I’m still new to AP room discounts, this being our first year having the Sorcerer Pass.
Glad to hear you are positive about the Wyndham option. It does mean driving, but at least we’d have free parking, and we had already rented the car for this particular visit anyway. After staying at Pop twice, OKW, BCV, and PVB over the past 10 months, I’m okay with trying a place off-site as long as I’m going to have a car anyway, and I can’t complain about the amenities, especially for the price.
