Food Guide for 2025 Disney Jollywood Nights Christmas Party
Walt Disney World has shared a look at the dishes, drinks & desserts during the 2025 Jollywood Nights Christmas Party at Hollywood Studios. This guide offers a full list and food photos of the snacks and other special items available for purchase during this hard ticket event, followed by ‘constructive’ commentary at the end.
As a reminder, Disney Jollywood Nights (DJN) is “counter-programming” of sorts for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom (MVMCP). For the third year, enjoy this mistletoe-tally special celebration, available on select nights from November 8 through December 22, 2025.
Before we get going, just a quick heads up that nights are already starting to sell out for the Christmas parties at Walt Disney World. Only the first date is sold out for Jollywood Nights, but many MVMCP dates are gone. To that point, if you’re still debating which to attend, we’ve put together a list of pros & cons for the party in Disney Jollywood Nights vs. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. It’s unlikely any other material announcements will be made for either event, so the time to get off the fence is now, while you still can–if you still can!
The 2025 Disney Jollywood Nights Christmas Party wouldn’t be complete without 82 exclusive bites to go along with it, and more than 35 are brand new. There are also four new dining locations–Backlot Express, Tune-in Lounge, KRNR Rock Station, and Pretzel Palooza–all with exclusive Disney Jollywood Nights offerings. That’s right, it’s taking 4 restaurants to offset the loss of PizzeRizzo (RIP Rat Pizza).

Get excited for brand new treats like the Jolly Jam Slider at Backlot Express and the Jolly Gingerbread Mini Churros at Ice Cold Hydraulics. As usual, the food & beverages for Disney Jollywood Nights look fantastic.
Unlike the average attendee, I do not spend a lot of time dining and drinking at hard ticket events. Time is money at these Christmas parties, and there’s more than enough entertainment and characters to fill an evening. So I don’t really have extensive experience with the DJN food scene.
Last year, I opted to eat at PizzeRizzo during mix-in before the event got started. It was probably the best meal I’ve ever had at PizzeRizzo, which isn’t saying much. It also isn’t helpful, as I chose to eat at the one place that’s now extinct.
The previous year, I had fantastic food at the Brown Derby, where everything was fantastic. My favorite was the sliders–highly recommended. The downside of Brown Derby is that it’s time-consuming, so perhaps not the optimal option if you want to see and do as much in a single evening.
On the other hand, I thought the Gertie cookie was incredibly underwhelming and hyped only for the sake of social media photos. (Seriously, Publix has superior sugar cookies.) But that wasn’t exactly surprising–it’s basically a ‘what you see is what you get’ kinda items. The Duffy Brownie wasn’t anything to write home about, but at least it was large.
Ultimately, our advice is to eat somewhere during mix-in before the 2025 Jollywood Nights officially starts. Not all of the locations will be open, and Walt Disney World hasn’t yet made clear which (if any) will be with the exclusive menus. Backlot Express and ABC Commissary should be safe bets, but you might want to check Mobile Order or the restaurants themselves on your event date. We had the turkey popover and the top floor daiquiri last year as they were both conveniently located near the ToT performers. Both were amazing. But you’re right Tom, there really isn’t a ton of time to eat even if you’re not doing a lot of character meets. We only did the special Muppets photograph, but all of the rest of our time was spent on the entertainment and a few rides.
