Nothing is quite as special as closing time in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Although Walt never walked this sidewalk, the place takes on a new life at night, at a time when you can really feel “close” to the history of the park and its founder’s legacy.

It’s always a moment – when you are walking down Main Street, the park is closing, you are meandering into the stores not intending to buy anything. You just don’t want the day to be over. When you get to the end of Main Street you can still smell the popcorn and you look back over your shoulder at the castle and a part of you is sad because you know you’ll miss the Magic Kingdom.
I know that feeling exactly. We try to “watch” the Castle as long as we possibly can each day as we exit.

How great would it be to have the park to just you and your family, disney should run a contest where that is the prize, 3 hours at Magic Kingdom at night. That would be AWESOME!
