New Discount for Disney World Annual Passholders & Awesome Must-Buy Merchandise!

After raising prices last week, Walt Disney World has already pulled multiple levers in an attempt to improve the value proposition of Annual Passes, adding perks, and making APs feel more valued.

Their first move after the price hikes was almost immediately announcing Zootopia: Better Zoogether preview dates next month. Following that, Walt Disney World increased the renewal discount on select Annual Passes, effectively undoing the higher base prices.

The latest step is rolling out a new merchandise discount, giving Annual Passholders a special 20% off discount on merchandise. This post shares details about the new deal, but quite frankly, it’s mostly just an excuse to share spectacular souvenirs that Disney just released. I’m not normally a merchandise guy, but there are some new must-buys and it would be downright irresponsible of me to not alert you of their existence!

Anyway, let’s start with the official details of the new 20% off Annual Passholder discount. Here’s the announcement from Walt Disney World:

There’s no place like DisneyStore.com for the holidays, especially with this AP discount. Passholders, it’s the most wonderful time of the year to get a head start on holiday shopping! That discount you love to use in the Walt Disney World theme parks is now available for a limited time to use from home.

DisneyStore.com is offering WDW Annual Passholders a special 20% discount so you can stock up on stocking-stuffers and get the perfect gift for all your Disney-loving friends and family. Deck the halls and get decked out for your next visit to the parks.

You’d better do it in a flurry, because this 20% Passholder deal is only available from October 15 to October 26, 2025.

How to Redeem Your 20% Passholder Discount Online:

  1. Check that your Walt Disney World Annual Pass is linked to your MyDisney account by going to The Walt Disney World website, where you’ll select “Log In or Create Account” at the top of the page.
  2. Once you’re logged in, select the “Welcome” message next to your name at the top of the page to navigate to your account details.
  3. Select “Membership & Passes”
  4. Ensure that your Walt Disney World Annual Pass is linked under Link Memberships & Passes to Your Account. If not, select “Add a Disney Annual Pass” and include your ID Number.
  5. Go to DisneyStore.com and sign in using your MyDisney Account credentials.
  6. Place at least one eligible item into your bag.
  7. In “My Bag,” type “WDW20” into the Add Promotion Code area.
  8. The promotion will be applied to all eligible items in your bag as you continue shopping and begin checkout.

All of this worked automatically for me once logged in–all I had to do was enter the WDW20 code. I was also able to stack that with SHIPMAGIC for free shipping on an $85 purchase. And you can easily spend that much with the great finds we’re about to share with you!

Mickey Mouse Frontier Trading Post Lincoln Logs ($25) – Take playtime way out west with this Frontier Trading Post Lincoln Logs™ Building Set featuring figures of Mickey Mouse and his trusty horse.

This 44-piece play set includes everything they need to build the trading post and two alternate builds. When they’re done playing, they can stow everything in the metal box until it’s time to rustle up more fun and adventure.

Full Frontierland Lincoln Logs Set ($115.97 After Discount) – First of all, I want to thank the many of you who reached out to bring the Country Bear Jamboree Lincoln Logs set to my attention. It’s good to know that my interests and tastes are well-documented, and I appreciate the alerts. Your brave act of public service did not go unnoticed.

Second, obviously we are buying the Country Bear Jamboree Lincoln Logs. That would’ve been true if this release were happening ~5 years ago and it’s doubly true today. Megatron is at the perfect age for something like this, and although she doesn’t have any Lincoln Logs yet, we do have a lot of bigger blocks and magnetic building sets. It’s one of our favorite things to do together…and there’s a slight possibility that I continue construction after she’s asleep.

Purchasing the Country Bear Jamboree Lincoln Logs was inevitable. The real “problem” is justifying the purchase of the full Frontierland set. Can you really have a theater without a runaway mine train or an outpost?! This discount probably gets me there, but we might have to wait until Black Friday.

The other issue is justifying two sets of the Country Bear Jamboree Lincoln Logs, since they are a collectible/priceless family heirloom. Not sure whether I’ll ever be able to make that happen, especially given that I just bought a couple of collectible/heirloom LEGO sets and have my eyes on a few more.

Suffice to say, these Lincoln Log sets get the strongest possible DTB endorsements. Think of them as investments, not just merchandise.

The Muppet Christmas Carol 12-Day Countdown Calendar ($160) – Count down to the merriest day of the year with The Muppet Christmas Carol 12-Day Countdown Calendar.

Hidden behind each window and door is a cute little plush inspired by characters from the beloved film. There’s Kermit as Bob Cratchit, Miss Piggy as Emily Cratchit, Ebenezer Scrooge, the Ghost of Christmas Past and others! With 12 adorable plush in all, this collection could be called the Most of Christmas presents!

Megatron loves stuffed animals, but hasn’t been fully and properly initiated into the Muppets fandom, so this could be exactly what we need. The problem is the price.

When I first saw this, I misread the price as $60. Even that seemed a bit expensive, but probably worth it–especially once there was a discount like this. But $160?! And for only 12 countdown entries as opposed to 24?! That’s a really tough sell.

My hope is that there’s a better deal on this for Black Friday or closer to Christmas. One way or another, we’ll probably end up getting it, because I don’t want to regret it in 5 years and spend ~$200 tracking down the individual (used) plushes on eBay, which is the alternative that I fear.

Santa Mickey Mouse Holiday Cardigan for Kids ($70) – Yule look forward to wrapping them up for Christmas in this cozy holiday cardigan featuring Santa Mickey Mouse! The allover woven fair isle pattern, featuring Fantasyland Castles, Mickey icons, Christmas trees and snowflakes, will definitely bring joy to the world!

I love the look of this (it reminds me of one sold in the parks/outlets in ~2019) and Megatron is fond of any attire with Mickey Mouse on it, but I’m reluctant to spend this much money on clothes for myself that’ll fit forever. Maybe after Christmas if/when it goes on clearance and is half that price.

  1. What they really need to do for WDW APs is what they did about 10 years. They offered 20% discount at all the WDW quick serve restaurants. Doing that again would help all us APs feel appreciated again.

  2. I know park hours and entertainment are periodically updated as the date gets closer, but isn’t November 2 a bit close for what WDW is showing from that date on? They’re still not showing any parade times (daytime or starlight), and are showing fireworks/fantasmic times inconsistent with the ending of daylight savings time. As an overzealous planner, this is starting to get concerning, but is this normal even this close to the date? I don’t remember it being this late for these updates before.

  3. Just to let you know, that sweater looks like a Minnie Mouse one (eyelashes). I assume there is a Mickey equivalent, haven’t looked yet.

Literally laughed out loud at this one. Kudos for the self-knowledge.
