3 New Deals on Show, Hotels & Dining at Disney Springs
Now through September 7, 2026, the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels at Walt Disney World are offering up to 25% off their best rates as teacher appreciation. On top of that, there are new discounts for Summer 2026 on dining and entertainment at Disney Springs, meaning several ways to save if you’re doing a Disney Springs-centric Walt Disney World vacation.
Before we even get going, I want to also draw your attention to the 4-Park, 4-Day Magic Discount Walt Disney World Ticket. That is a fantastic deal on admission, and that type of ticket works well when paired with a stay in the Disney Springs area because this location will give you options after the parks close.
That matters less with Magic Kingdom, which will be open until 11 pm many nights this summer. It’s useful when it comes to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and most valuable at Animal Kingdom, which closes at 6 pm some nights. With Disney Springs open until 11 pm on weeknights and 11:30 pm on weekends, it’s a great option for the hours after the three parks that aren’t Magic Kingdom close.
Enter the latest Walt Disney World resort discount: US and Canadian teachers seeking a break from the classroom this summer can find a big discount at Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels with up to 25% off the best rates. Both United States and Canadian-based educators can book these discounted rates now through August 31, 2026 and stay now through September 7, 2026.
This special teachers’ discount is not valid with any other special offer. Some blackout dates may apply, and availability may be limited. The discount, except where specified, does not include resort service fees, daily parking fees (if applicable), taxes or gratuities.
Each resort is an official Walt Disney World Resort Hotel located within walking distance of the area’s finest shopping, dining and entertainment via the pedestrian skybridge to Disney Springs.
Here are teacher discounts for each of the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels under this discount:
- DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando – 25% off best rate
- Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando – 20% off best rate
- Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace -20% off best rate
- Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista -20% off best rate
- Holiday Inn Orlando -20% off best rate
- Renaissance Orlando Resort & Spa – $39 resort fee dropped
- Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista -25% off best rate
This special teachers’ discount is exclusively available through the Disney Springs Resort Area Teacher Appreciation Discount Website and is not valid with any other special offers, promotions, existing reservations or groups.
If you’re not a teacher or educator, there’s a separate general public promo with rates starting at $99/night that you can book here. The bad news is that this requires booking by June 15th and traveling by June 30, 2026.
The good news is that summer is the slower season for occupancy around Walt Disney World, and we assume that extends to the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels. If so, we’d expect to see another general public offer for July through September 2026 in the not too distant future. We’ll keep you posted!
Disney Springs Resort Area Hotel Perks
Guests of Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels receive additional benefits to add value to their Walt Disney World vacation, including the following:
- Free bus transportation – Hourly bus shuttle service for Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels guests is available to all Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Individual hotel shuttle schedules vary.
- Early Entry – Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels guests enjoy even more magic with 30-minute early entry to any theme park daily.
- Golf – Tee times can be booked up to 90 days in advance with discounts on greens fees and rental equipment for all four Walt Disney World Golf courses.
- Passport to Savings—an exclusive booklet of special offers from select Disney Springs restaurants and shops.
Disney Springs Hotel Missing Perks
Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels do NOT have the 7-day booking window for Lightning Lanes. That might be a potential deal-breaker if you plan on purchasing paid FastPass, as inventory will be more limited at the 3-day mark. You’ll need a strong refresh game to score same-day refills.
Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels are also not eligible for Extended Evening Hours, but then again, neither are Disney Value and Moderate Resort guests. Extended Evening Hours is huge, especially during the summer when it helps beat the heat. Consider this a point in favor of the Swolphin or DVC point rental.
Of the actual perks, the only big advantage is Early Entry (see our Guide to Early Theme Park Entry at Walt Disney World), which all of these Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels offer. That can be especially huge this time of year, and potentially save you from needing to buy Lightning Lane Multi-Pass in the first place.
Another drawback to Disney Springs hotels is the transportation. I’m not a fan of the shared bus service offered by those hotels, especially “to” Magic Kingdom and first thing in the morning or at the end of the night. It’s bad to the point of being unusable. If you’re staying at these hotels, it’s best to have your own vehicle or to budget a bit more for rideshare.
Disney Springs vs. Value Resorts
As always, we recommend pricing out all of the discounts currently available directly from Walt Disney World. This includes special offers for the general public, Florida residents, Annual Passholders, military members, and everyone else.
When the last round of third party discounts was released, we recommended booking All Star Sports at $99/night via the Disney+ deep discount. Hopefully you heeded that advice, as was our top recommendation. Unfortunately, it appears that hotels and dates are now sold out under that and other discounts for summer. Still worth checking, but you might struggle to string together more than a couple consecutive nights.
Even if you can’t take advantage of the $99/night deal due to a lack of availability or eligibility for your travel dates, you should still be able to find rooms at one of the three All Stars for under $140/night this summer. You might even be able to book Pop Century for a rate in that ballpark.
Most of the deals on Value Resorts are going to beat this discount, even with the 20% to 25% off discounts. That’s due to resort and parking fees for the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels, along with the distribution of rates once you get past the advertised starting rate. Be sure to do the math beyond just the post-discount rates, as the extra costs that exist here but not at the Disney-owned hotels can add up fast!
This is not to dissuade you from the Disney Springs Resort Area! We’re big fans of the skybridge from these hotels over to the actual Disney Springs. If you enjoy a late dinner, nightlife after the parks, shopping or even a snack crawl, this is a huge advantage. Disney Springs is the place to be if you’re a night owl.
That’s doubly true for the summer months at Walt Disney World. You’ll want to do everything you can to beat the heat, and that’ll sometimes mean minimizing midday activity before a “second wind” at night. Unfortunately, the parks will mostly close at or around sunset, leaving Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom (plus special events) as the easiest beat the heat options.
And on top of the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotel discounts, there are a couple of other special offers…
Kids Eat Free at Jaleo
The popular ‘Kids Eat Free’ promotion is back at Jaleo by Chef José Andrés at Disney Springs, running Monday through Thursday from June 16, 2026 through September 3, 2026.
To take advantage of this special offer, each adult must spend a minimum of $30. That’s a pretty easy bar to clear at Jaleo, where many of the entrees cost that much. Each kids’ meal at Jaleo costs $14, so this could end up offering stellar savings (or not) depending upon the allocation of children and adults in your party. It’s much like Walt Disney World’s Free Dining Plan for Kids in that sense.
Kids’ meals include the basics like a smashburger, hot dog, chicken tenders, grilled chicken breast, and grilled cheese. There are also more ambitious options, such as the grilled flat iron steak, seared Atlantic salmon, and Pisto manchego with fried egg.
We’re huge fans of Jaleo, and take a “something is better than nothing” perspective on deals like this. At the same time, we feel it’s worth noting that Jaleo is a staple of Magical Dining Month and other discounts at Walt Disney World. Comparatively, this is a fairly tepid deal unless kids outnumber the adults in your party and you’ll be ordering relatively inexpensive entrees.
Of course, that information does you no good if you’re a tourist visiting only this summer. But if you’re a local, you might want to wait for that better deal to roll around. (Honestly, I’m surprised none of the Disney Springs restaurants are partaking in VIPASSHOLDER Summer Days, and offering 20% to 40% off for that.)
Drawn to Life by Cirque du Soleil Discounts
Another option is pairing this hotel deal with the Drawn to Life discount to celebrate Cirque du Soleil’s birthday. Guests can take advantage of special savings of 30% off adult tickets purchased now through June 17, 2026, for Drawn to Life performances now through September 27, 2026. Note that this discount cannot be combined with any other special offers; it’s one or the other.
There’s also a separate special offer for Cool Kids’ Summer at Walt Disney World. With this deal, parents can purchase a child ticket for $25 with the purchase of a full-price adult ticket throughout the summer season. The special kids’ tickets, available for children ages 2-12, are on sale now through September 6, 2026 for performances from May 27 to September 20, 2026. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Disney Springs box office.
Perfect for both kids and kids-at-heart, Drawn to Life by Cirque du Soleil tells the story of the love between a father and a daughter, drawing inspiration from more than 100 years of storytelling by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The show celebrates iconic Disney stories and characters through innovative design, thrilling acrobatic feats, dazzling choreography, an original musical score and animation.
What to Do at Disney Springs
Beyond that, there are a ton of things to do at Disney Springs, especially for Cool Kids’ Summer. Most notably, the highly anticipated Level99 is set to open its doors soon at Disney Springs West Side, right next door to Drawn to Life.
On select nights this summer at Disney Springs, the Waterside Stage will come alive with high‑energy dance parties celebrating the newest original movies coming to Disney+. Guests will be able to jam all night to hits from Descendants: Wicked Wonderland and Camp Rock 3.
There are the fan-favorite snack spots, Gideon’s Bakehouse (and the upcoming Six Ravens) and Salt & Straw, along with a wealth of table service options. Other favorites of mine include Happy Hour at STK (which is also available after 10 pm), Morimoto Asia, Jaleo, D-Luxe Burger, along with our old school favorite, Raglan Road.
Many of these restaurants will seat guests until 11 pm (11:30 pm on weekends), so you can be out until well after midnight if you so desire. Nothing beats a waterfront table at the Boathouse at the end of a long summer day. That cool breeze hits the spot, as does that delicious food.
Pairing these restaurants with the hotel deals with the 4-Park Magic Ticket, which doesn’t offer Park Hopping is a winning combination. Post-park closing shopping, dining, or entertainment at Disney Springs can really help extend your day.
A couple of weeks ago, I did this twice, once for a late-night meal at eet by Maneet Chauhan and another time for STK, and had a ton of fun at Disney Springs. If only they would’ve brought back the drone show for Cool Kids’ Summer!
