Rare Disney PIN Code Deal on 1-Day Disneyland Park Hopper Ticket for Now to Christmas 2026

Disney has released a new deal for a discounted 1-Day Disneyland Park Hopper ticket via an elusive PIN code with savings of up to $165 off! Here are dates & details about the special offer, plus comparisons to other past & present ticket promos, an assessment of the value proposition, why this bodes well for future discounts.

Let’s start with the basics in case you’ve never heard of PIN codes or have not received an email from Disney about one. PIN codes are the rarest of Disney discounts: targeted, non-transferrable special offers sent to a limited number of recipients that offer deep-discounts.

How PIN code recipients are selected is a process that is shrouded in secrecy. Some fans speculate that it’s based upon a complex algorithm that takes into account various factors in order to ‘nudge’ certain potential visitors to book. Others believe it’s random, dictated by manatees pushing around name and discount balls or monkeys with darts.

PIN codes are a good way for Disney to thread the needle by offering discounts at more popular timeframes to hit attendance or occupancy goals. Targeted discount offers like PIN codes are a more sophisticated approach to offer discounts to certain guests while excluding others.

PIN codes offer granular control of special offer inventory, similar to offers aimed at Southern California residents, Disney+ subscribers, or Disney Visa Cardholders. Except even more limited since Disney can choose the exact number of people eligible for PIN codes; the email could go out to precisely 195,500 people, as opposed to being open to however many millions of Californians, Disney+ subscribers, etc. there are.

The goal is to offer the discount to a very limited number of potential guests, and also (and this is key!) use surgical precision to target those guests who most need to be incentivized. Such as those who have not visited for a while according to Disney’s records. The discount is a carrot to lure unsuspecting(?) guests to visit. If you’re regularly booking trips, you’re probably not going to receive a PIN code; no need to entice behavior that’s already happening!

In the case of this new 1-Day Disneyland Park Hopper Ticket Deal for Late 2026, we actually did not receive the special offer at any of our email addresses. Not even dormant ones no longer associated with MyDisney accounts. This email was forwarded to us by a friend who received the PIN code, suggesting it’s even more limited than last year’s PIN code deal (more on that in a minute).

This 1-Day Park Hopper Deal is valid through December 18, 2026, meaning it covers both the heart of Halloween Time (see our Guide to Halloween Time at Disneyland), as well as Holiday Time at Disneyland (see our Guide to Christmas at Disneyland). It also runs during our favorite week of the year, which is seldom-discounted!

Here’s a look at the email followed by official details via Disneyland:

Don’t miss out on this limited-time offer! Enjoy both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park with a 1-Day Park Hopper ticket for only $149. Tickets are available for use from September 10 through December 18, 2026, subject to park reservation availability. Lightning Lane Multi Pass can be added for additional fees.

Offer valid only for recipients of an email with a personalized, nontransferable PIN, and valid PIN is required to purchase the tickets. You may purchase up to 5 tickets per transaction, with no more than a total of 3 transactions per PIN. Tickets must be ordered in advance of your arrival. (PIN usage “freezes” for 15 minutes when only one usage is remaining on the PIN.) Children younger than age 3 don’t need a ticket.

Tickets valid for use between September 10, 2026 and December 18, 2026. Tickets are nonrefundable, may not be sold or transferred for commercial use and excludes activities/events separately priced. Offer may not be combined with other ticket discounts or promotions.

Subject to restrictions and change or cancellation without notice. Sales may be paused from time to time or terminated at any time. To enter a park, both a theme park reservation and a valid ticket for the same park on the same date are required.

Theme park reservations for these offer tickets are limited in number and subject to the availability of park reservations allocated to the Special Ticket Offer as determined by Disney, applicable blockout dates, and theme park capacity. Reservation availability for these offer tickets is not guaranteed for any date, and reservations may be difficult to get for any particular date, especially as the ticket expiration date approaches.

To ensure best availability, make reservations early. On any given date, park reservations may be available for general theme park tickets even though park reservations allocated to these offer tickets are fully reserved. Special Ticket Offer holders are not entitled to any reservations Disney makes available to others.

This might sound familiar, which is because there was a similar email that went out on the exact same date last year. The key difference is that the 2025 PIN code was for 1-day, 2-day, or 3-day tickets. Here’s the flier we received last year:

Hopefully there’s value in sharing this as a “heads up” as PIN codes frequently get caught in spam folders. Every time we post about them for Walt Disney World, we invariably get reader comments that they wouldn’t have seen the deal but for our post.

It’s a good idea to check your old email accounts and spam folders if you’re interested in this deal. (For reference, my email came from [email protected] and the subject line read: “Limited-Time Ticket Offer Inside.”)

Additionally, if you have not received the email yet, all hope is not lost! Our records reflect this going out in multiple waves last year, with additional recipients appearing to have received the PIN code later in September. It’s not completely clear (at least to us) whether this was truly a second wave, or if the first email got caught by spam filters and subsequent ones went through. Disney gradually sending out more PIN codes would make sense if the goal is granular control over capacity and discounting. Regardless, it doesn’t hurt to keep an eye out!

In a normal year, there are a few main types of ticket deals. The big one is the winter and spring special offer, available only to Californians (usually Southern California residents). Disneyland has done this consistently for at least the last decade. It’s the much more established and longstanding deal.

This year’s version of that SoCal resident deal was the best we’ve seen in a while, and was actually better than last year. It started in early January and ran through May 21st. It was so popular that Disneyland actually stopped selling it in April because the parks ran out of reservations for that ticket type with over a month left in the promo.

Following that, there was the $50 Disneyland Kids Tickets for Summer 2026! This Kids’ Ticket Deal is valid for visits through September 7th, meaning it just ended. Children ages 3 through 9 can visit Disneyland and Disney California Adventure for $50 per child with a 1-Day Park Hopper ticket.

In addition to that Kids’ Ticket Deal, Disneyland would normally release a summer and early fall ticket discount to replace the last California resident ticket deal that ended on May 21st. In a normal year, that would expire in late September.

For reasons unknown, that summer Golden State deal did not happen this year. As for why, our best guess is that Disneyland overcorrected after offering “too good” of a deal in the winter and spring. It’s not as if Disneyland was packed with people this summer. To the contrary, the last two months have been much slower than the height of winter and spring. Instead, there was a $59 nighttime ticket deal that sold out in a single day, along with an Anaheim resident deal that is offered annually.

Suffice to say, it’s been a really weird year for discounts at Disneyland. The return of this PIN code, albeit without the multi-day options, on the exact same day it was released last year is arguably one of the more normal things that has happened. And that’s despite this deal being totally unprecedented up until last year!

Since it’s been an interesting year for discounts, I’m going to conclude by sharing special offer ticket prices from the last several years and let them speak for themselves…

Ultimately, this Disneyland PIN code ticket deal is a great option if you’re eligible, want the Park Hopper option, and only want to make single-day visits to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure for the Halloween or Christmas seasons.
