Astro Orbitor – Disney Photo of the Day
In Disneyland, this attraction is called “Astro Orbitor.” In Walt Disney World, it’s called “Astro Orbiter.” See the difference? Does California use a different corpus than Florida? Was this accidental? Was it completely intentional and the result of an intricate backstory written by WDI of which I’m unaware? These are the kind of things that keep me up at night, and rest assured, I won’t sleep until I have an answer for you all!

As always, a wonderful photo, Tom. Any idea what the ring of symbols are around the bottom? One looks like an Omega letter. Do these have significance?
Thanks for sharing so many thoughts and photos. They keep me going between visits.
Those look like the astrological symbols for the constellations. Virgo, Libra, and Scorpio are in view, left to right.
I wonder if the one in Hong Kong is called Astro Orbitour?
Curiously, it appears that HKDLR goes with the far less traditional spelling: “Orbitron.” Here’s hoping the attraction isn’t as awful as the Observatron!
