2019 Cyber Week Deals for Disney & Travel

Cyber Monday is over, but the deals aren’t coming to an end! Retailers have extended, with Cyber Week discounts continuing. Amazon is doing a “12 Days of Deals,” and there are great Disney and travel options for everyone on your Christmas list! We round up the best discounts on toys, books, and travel gadgets that’ll improve your trips to Walt Disney World and beyond. (Updated December 3, 2019.)

With many of the best posts on this blog being about saving money at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, etc., it should come as no surprise that we’re frugal and love a good deal. Naturally, we’ve already made many purchases for Cyber Week 2019 (albeit none yet that are explicitly “Disney”) and we’re sharing some of our top finds with you in this post!

Some of these discounts are on Disney books & toys, whereas other things are practical items and gadgets that will come in handy while traveling–or potentially even at home. We’ll update this post throughout Cyber Monday Week, adding and removing things as deals go live or sell-out…

As always, Amazon.com is dominating Cyber Monday Week. I don’t know if they coined the term “Cyber Monday,” but Amazon pretty much defines it and accounts for the vast majority of the best deals today. Check out Amazon’s Cyber Week/12 Days of Deals page for the biggest savings and most popular deals.

Note that many of Amazon’s top offers (especially on that page) come via Lightning Deals, which are available for a limited amount of time or until everything is claimed. One of our top strategies for Cyber Monday is to simply refresh that page and see what new deals appear. They rotate with surprising regularity!

Naturally, the go-to place for Disney merchandise is…ShopDisney. On top of normal savings, you can save another 30% off purchases of $150 or more (with 15-25% savings on lower totals) by using code CYBER in ShopDisney’s Cyber Monday (Extended!) Sale. That’s on top of discounts on parks merchandise, toys, holiday decor, etc.

Honestly, 30% off full-priced items is not a huge savings. What we’d recommend doing (and what we’ve done ourselves) is browsing the Sale Section to save as much as possible–lots of good items from the parks and beyond. That’s the best way to sweeten the deal, so to speak.

Disney Frozen 2 Elsa Musical Doll — Elsa sings “Into the Unknown” and says 14 film-inspired phrases, and also has a dress that lights up in a gorgeous pattern inspired by a dramatic film moment.

Sphero BB9e App-Enabled Droid — The Sphero Star Wars droids are awesome, and this is the best deal of the bunch. If you’ve never played with a Sphero before, you’re in for a real treat.

Slinky Dog in Retro Packaging — Good for kids, but arguably even better for adults given the retro-styled packaging, which reminds me instantly of the Slinky Dog Dash queue!

Lionel Disney Mickey Mouse Express Train Set — If you’d prefer a more traditional train, this awesome Lionel holiday train set with remote is a great alternative to the LEGO one below. At 47% off, it’s a great deal!

Mickey Mouse “Hot Dog Dance” Plush — I don’t know what this dance is…and I’m not sure that I want to know…but this is a good deal if your kids are into this sort of thing.

Lightweight Travel Backpack – Another good deal (for some colors and sizes), this super lightweight bag is perfect for a day bag in the parks, and will easily pack into your luggage.

Packing Cubes – Another brand we’ve never tried, but once again, the price is right.

TravelPro Crew11 Suitcase – We mentioned this in the Black Friday post, but this 63% off suitcase deserves more attention. TravelPro is the only brand of suitcase I use (see my Luggage Tips & Recommendations post). It’s the most popular brand with flight attendants, and for good reason–mine still looks brand new after years of heavy use.

Get Away Today Walt Disney World & Disneyland Ticket Deals — Through December 3, 2019, you can save up to $98 on Walt Disney World tickets (via promo code BLACKFRIDAYFL). Alternatively, you can buy score Adults at Kids’ Prices on Disneyland tickets. The Disneyland deal can also be stacked with hotel bundles to save even more. (And you’re also locking in ticket prices now before the inevitable February 2020 price increase.)
