Badly Needed New Baby Yoda & Mandalorian Menus Coming to Docking Bay 7 in Star Wars Land
Docking Bay 7 in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World and Disneyland is getting new menus for the release of the Mandalorian and Grogu movie. This covers all of the food and drinks coming to a galaxy far, far away and why the once #1 counter service restaurant on both coasts badly needs these dishes.
For those who are ready for their tasty adventure to begin, keep an eye out for delights like the Sweet-and-Spicy Puffer Pig Pasta at Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or the Bounty Bun with Spiced Beef at Disneyland.
And you’ll definitely be ready to blast off with the new The Mandalorian and Grogu Jetpack Sipper at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Let’s start with the new additions to the menu at Docking Bay 7 at Disneyland…
Disneyland’s New Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo Menu (Available starting May 21; mobile order available)
- Bounty Bun with Spiced Beef and Pork with tomato chutney, golden aioli, and sautéed blue onions (New)
- Adelphi Cheesy Noodles with Fried Chicken Tip-Yip with pancetta, toasted herb breadcrumbs, and sweet and spicy chili sauce (New)
- Youngling Cheesy Noodles with Fried Chicken Tip-Yip served with a small lowfat milk or small DASANI Water (New) (Kids Meal)
- The Surabat Valley Greens Chicken Salad with marinated roasted chicken breast, quinoa-veggie mix, mini peppers, olives, and cilantro dressing
- Surabat Valley Greens Salad with quinoa-veggie mix, mini peppers, olives, and cilantro dressing (Plant-based)
- Grogu Cookies: White chocolate dipped macaron cookies filled with pineapple cream (New)

By contrast, the new Mandalorian menu at Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo in Disney’s Hollywood Studios consists of a single dish:
- Sweet-and-Spicy Puffer Pig Pasta: Flat noodles with pork belly, bok choy, sweet-and-spicy soy sauce, and hard boiled egg (pictured below)
Now, before you shout “be fair to Florida,” there are a couple of things worth pointing out…
First, Docking Bay 7 at Walt Disney World already has a bigger menu and (I would argue) a better menu to the extent that there are differences. Second, Docking Bay 7 just got menu updates at the start of this month for May the Fourth (whereas Disneyland did not). Here’s a rundown of those changes:
- Endorian Fried Chicken Tip-Yip:Â Crispy chicken served with house-made macaroni and roasted vegetables garnished with cauliflower leaf kimchi
- Shaak Pot Roast with Kublag Mash:Â Birria pot roast with turmeric-garlic mash and roasted carrots
- Sweet Puffer Pig Ribs with Portion Bread: Pork ribs brushed with tangy BBQ sauce and served with mac & cheese and sponge cake
- Endorian Chicken Tip-Yip Salad: Guava BBQ chicken with avocado-jalapeño dressing, arugula, radish, romaine lettuce, cucumber, red onion, haricot vert, pineapple, and rice noodles
I haven’t had a chance to taste-test the refreshed menu at Walt Disney World, but it’s high on my list of priorities next week. In preparation for that, I did some very important research this week at Disneyland, eating everything on the menu. Speaking of which…
While all of the dishes were good, the Docking Bay 7 menu lacks variety and has fewer than half as many items as it did back when it launched. This is a sad but typical trend, and something we’ve also seen more recently with Tiana’s Palace, albeit to a lesser extent.
Where Docking Bay 7 excelled when it first opened was offering plenty of options for everyone, from safe and crowd-pleasing to exotic and adventurous–all complete with cumbersome and confusing names. Now, there are so few dishes that there’s less margin for error. If someone doesn’t like fried chicken, bok choy, or fake meatballs, that pretty much rules out Docking Bay 7. We went to Disneyland with family prior to this visit, and Docking Bay 7 was a complete non-starter for half the people in our party. Had this new Mando menu been available then, it would’ve been perfect.
On a positive note, I really like the Surabat Noodles with Crispy Marinated Eopie, and am looking forward to Walt Disney World getting its own twist on a noodles dish. The Endorian Fried Chicken Tip-Yip was also the best I’ve had in a while, and the portion wasn’t as small as last time I ordered that. Ditto the newer Fried Chicken Baos, which were surprisingly stuffed, but still not sufficiently filling for a full meal.
To that point, there’s my standard complaint that they’ve raised prices while cutting portion sizes. On this particular visit, I didn’t leave hungry…but that’s only because I ate $35 worth of food. (In fairness, Sarah felt satisfied with her tried and true Felucian Falafel and Hummus Garden Spread, which is a comparative bargain at only $13.29.)
That’s precisely why I don’t eat much at Docking Bay 7 anymore. As much as I love the food there, I do not love dropping $15 to $19 on a counter service entree…only to leave hungry. That’s happened more times than I can count at the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge restaurant. It’s also happened plenty of other places, but it seems to occur more there than just about anywhere else (“just about” asterisk because Hungry Bear is a bigger offender).
Anyway, I still like the menu at Docking Bay 7 and think it’s one of the best counter service restaurants at Walt Disney World or Disneyland. But all of that is on paper or in theory. In practice, I eat filling guilty pleasure more frequently. This includes my beloved Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese at DHS and my equally-beloved Fantasyland Garlic Cheesy Brat at Disneyland.
The indulgent comfort foods generally haven’t gotten much smaller due to cheaper ingredients in the first place, so amusingly, the things that are worst for my waistline are just as big and bad as ever! Once Docking Bay 7 adds the Bounty Bun with Spiced Beef & Pork and the Adelphi Cheesy Noodles with Fried Chicken Tip-Yip, I expect it’ll join the list of guilty pleasure favorites.
Regardless, I’m looking forward to the expanded Mandalorian menu at Docking Bay 7 at Disneyland.
My hope is that the new dishes supplement what’s already there, as opposed to replacing anything. These items are clearly more crowd-pleasing in nature, so it’d be a shame to lose existing entrees for them. At the same time, these dishes could make Docking Bay 7 more appealing to a wider audience. Or good for anyone who wants a filling, reasonably priced meal.
Even with these added entrees, I still suspect that Docking Bay 7 at Walt Disney World will have the stronger menu. Unless something went terribly wrong with the changes to the pot roast and pig ribs, those should still be better than anything on the menu in Batuu West. They still need a couple more dishes that don’t involve the Chicken Tip Yip, though.

YOUR THOUGHTS
If you’ve dined at Docking Bay 7 both back in 2019 and again more recently, have you noticed the significantly scaled-back menu? What about smaller portions? Thoughts on the food in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World or Disneyland? Agree or disagree with our assessment of the cuisine at Docking Bay 7? Any questions we can help you answer? Hearing your feedback is both interesting to us and helpful to other readers, so please share your thoughts below in the comments!

Ate there in Dec 2019 with one of my sons, his family and his wife’s family. There must have been a dozen of us and most everyone liked the surroundings but left hungry. Took Carolyn there another time but she doesn’t eat much so small portions are fine. I know it’s a different park but one of our fav QS is Satu’li Canteen. If you’re looking to eat “off world” that’s where I suggest.
So are they keeping the original chicken with mash and broccoli? Because this was one of the only places I was thinking my whole family could eat and just maybe they would eat the broccoli and not have Mac n cheese for every meal.
We ate at Docking Bay 7 over New Year’s and noticed the smaller menu, but thankfully portion sizes seemed the same (not prices, though!). These seem like solid updates on both coasts. Though I shuddered a bit at “Youngling Cheesy Noodles”. Is this from Revenge of the Sith? Are they made from younglings?
