Christmas Sleeping Beauty Castle – Disney Photo of the Day

Disneyland is unquestionably the most beautiful Disney theme park at Christmas-time. We recently had the pleasure of experiencing it for the first at Christmas, and we were absolutely blown away. We went in with very high expectations, and they were easily surpassed. From Haunted Mansion Holiday to “it’s a small world” holiday to the beautiful decorations all over the park–my favorites being in New Orleans Square and Frontierland–it was an absolutely amazing experience. The nightly snowfall shows and “Believe… In Holiday Magic” (included in the cost of admission every night unlike at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!) were also highlights. After our first day in the parks, Sarah said, “well, this is a new yearly tradition.” Hopefully she’s right!

  1. Hi Tom,

Such a beautiful photo. This is exactly how I remember Disneyland as a child, when we went around New Year’s.

I’m wondering if I may have your permission to use this photo on a custom postcard, as I don’t have any postcards or photos of our Disneyland trip.

    Cheers,
    Ellyse

  2. So Jealous! This is an amazing Photo and If the rest of what you post from the trip is this good, You’ll pass yourself as my favorite Disney Photographer.

  3. I went for the Christmas season last year and was blown away. I will now be a Disneyland Christmas snob…I can’t wait to go back regardless, but I will always wish it was decorated for Christmas. I absolutely LOVED the christmas loop on main street…i could sit and listen to that music all day! (and i do at home and while driving frequently)
