Lightning Lane & Genie+ Selections ‘Selling Out’ & Holiday Availability
Earlier this holiday week, we shared Genie+ Collapsing in Crowds at Walt Disney World. That detailed the many problems with Lightning Lanes and the paid FastPass service during Thanksgiving week, from technical difficulties to limited ride reservation inventory. This post is essentially the sequel to that, taking a look at ride reservation options every two hours so you have an idea how quickly selections are “selling out.”
We also wanted to supplement that post with additional thoughts based on the ~140 reader comments. Many of those offer firsthand accounts from regular guests who are visiting Walt Disney World right now, and are frankly a bit tough to read. (Not because they’re poorly written–due to the really bad experiences some are sharing.)
Those comments are worth revisiting, especially if you thought we might’ve been exaggerating. Some also cover errors and glitches that we haven’t experienced at all. That’s the bad news–that some people have had even more problems using Genie+ this week than us. The good news is that Lightning Lane inventory hasn’t looked as bad the last couple of days…
To be sure, Slinky Dog Dash is still fully booked within minutes of 7 am. Same goes for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance on the Individual Lightning Lane side of the ledger. At Magic Kingdom, Jungle Cruise is selling out relatively quickly. The same is true of Na’vi River Journey at Animal Kingdom and Test Track at Epcot.
In order to give you an idea of what inventory is looking like throughout the day, I’ve been taking copious screenshots over the course of the last couple of days–over 200 this week, with 100+ yesterday alone. I’m trying to find a good way of presenting those (I think the 4 in a row below might be too hard to read for most people) and will continue to tweak the approach as this could be a useful illustration going forward.
In any case, I’ve been checking Genie+ regularly and have the following in 2-hour increments (consistent with the 120-minute rule, since that’s the relevant rule when it’s busy). Commentary follows in case you can’t make sense of the screenshots, or just want an interpretation…
~9 am Genie+ Inventory
~11 am Genie+ Inventory
~1 pm Genie+ Inventory
~3 pm Genie+ Inventory
~5 pm Genie+ Inventory
Inventory is definitely better, and it’s better managed. In the prior post, we mentioned that Genie+ Lightning Lane drops or refills had become more frequent and less predictable. That definitely has continued to be the case. In particular, all of the headliners except Slinky Dog Dash had refills after 9 am. All of the Genie+ Lightning Lane selections other than SDD were available at some point after 11 am. (ILLs are a different story–once they’re gone, they’re gone.)
This is relatively significant because it means that, at minimum, you could’ve booked two headliner attractions in any of the parks. Assuming, of course, that you were diligent about watching for watching for Lightning Lane refills and didn’t get a dreaded access code email prompt or have another random glitch while trying to book. (Big assumptions, I know.) Just casually watching from home during another embarrassing Lions loss, I’m pretty confident I could’ve scored selections for at least 4 headliners in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and even more in Magic Kingdom.
Speaking of which, DHS and Magic Kingdom have been our focus with Genie+ since the beginning and that remains the case. It’s a tougher sell for us at Animal Kingdom or Epcot, which is largely driven by a lack of eligible attractions and the reality that following savvy strategy will accomplish just as much. (In the case of Animal Kingdom, “stay late” remains the easiest advice–many Genie+ return times will end up being late in the day when wait times are short anyway!)
Even with this “better” day, inventory at Disney’s Hollywood Studios was pretty low by 3 pm. Still, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror was available, which would’ve bypassed a 55 minute posted wait and been the 4th Genie+ Lightning Lane selection of the day. That’s not too shabby in terms of total time saved. (That would’ve been the last pick–by 5 pm, even Alien Swirling Saucers was sold out and only shows remained.)
At Magic Kingdom, there were good options into the early evening. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh were still available as of 5 pm. Although I don’t have 7 pm screenshots, there were still reasonably valuable options then. Standby wait times weren’t bad by that hour in the evening, either.
Without question, Magic Kingdom is the best park for Genie+ by virtue of its higher attraction count. This is where the system most resembles MaxPass at Disneyland. Having more attractions also removes some of the pressure, which is part of what makes DHS so stressful and unpleasant for using Genie+ Lightning Lanes.
One of the keys to success with Genie+ is getting a feel for the Lightning Lane selection refills or drops. Sometimes, it only appears that an attraction is ‘sold out’ of Genie+ Lightning Lane times for the day, but is actually just temporarily unavailable. In other cases, the time has progressed into evening, but will soon ‘roll over’ into earlier return times.
Since there’s no modify button (a colossal oversight that urgently needs to be remedied), it’s often advantageous not to book a ride reservation, but rather, to wait for a better time to come along. Cancelling and rebooking is too cumbersome–you’ll usually miss out on the better time, and might get denied a replacement reservation altogether due to the app’s bugginess.
If you’ve yet to visit Walt Disney World, we’d recommend spending some time monitoring the Genie Tip Board in the days prior to your vacation to get a feel for the cadence of refills, when they’re happening, and how quickly the times progress. There’s no good way to explain this via a blog post–learn by seeing/doing.
In the summary of our last post about Genie+ collapsing under crowds, we advised that anyone visiting Walt Disney World this week for “holistic enjoyment” and not just wait time minimization, should opt for a normal rope drop, midday break, late night strategy—and pretend Genie+ doesn’t even exist. If you read the horror stories in the comments, the reasons for that recommendation should be fairly evident. Nevertheless, we want to clarify a bit.
Even with all of these problems, Genie+ can still save you a good amount of time waiting in line–potentially 3+ hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and 4+ hours at Magic Kingdom. However, that’s assuming you utilized no other strategy and stood in long lines during the middle of the day. Hopefully, anyone reading a strategy blog like this one would otherwise be leveraging a solid touring plan and tactics for outsmarting the crowds–so the time savings offered by Genie+ is a bit illusory.
Right now, our recommendation (or lack thereof) is more colored by all of the headaches dealing with glitches, screen time trying to score “good” Lightning Lane selections, and who knows what other problems. Don’t underestimate the “cost” of all that, as it is significant right now.
Stated differently, the extra time you spend in line by not using Genie+ might be preferable to the frustrations and time incurred in bypassing some lines. Unless your tolerance for Disney IT induced pain is high, you might come out ahead just doing standby and not messing with it.
Everything has a cost–whether in dollars, time or your sanity. Genie+ takes the first and third, while giving you the second. At this point, that tradeoff is arguably not worth it–except maybe at Magic Kingdom, where it’s lower pressure and there’s greater opportunity to book more selections before they sell out. (If you were already on the fence about Genie due to screen time or dealing with Disney IT, the conclusion here should be an obvious one for you.)
Finally, a friendly reminder to be kind to Cast Members if you’re choosing to visit Walt Disney World during this peak holiday season. This should go without saying and is always the case, but it’s especially true now. It has been a tough couple of years for them, and having to do with the many woes of Genie+ will not be easy or pleasant, especially given how belligerent some guests can be about it.
Frontline Cast Members with whom you interact have literally zero say over Walt Disney World’s prices, the upcharges that get sold, nickel & diming policies–and they certainly aren’t the ones coding My Disney Experience. Lines at Guest Relations and the “blue umbrellas” have been very long this Thanksgiving week, and we’ve heard some horror stories about guest behavior. You are not going to change anything by being rude to them, only reveal the true content of your character. Hopefully we’re preaching to the choir, and everyone reading this already knows that.
As a corollary to this, it’s also worth noting that the decision-makers are often “insulated” from the operational consequences of the products they release and actual on-the-ground guest experience. We already know that the company views Genie as a great success, because CEO Bob Chapek said as much on the last quarterly earnings call. (Money talks…)
He and other leaders see financial results coming out of Walt Disney World, which undoubtedly look great this week, plus summary reports often written to reinforce what they want to hear. It should also go without saying, but those in the c-suite are not in the parks, fielding complaints. They are also not using using Genie+ themselves to book Lightning Lanes because, on the rare occasions that they do visit Walt Disney World, their visits are carefully scripted and they are whisked around by an entourage of park management and have VIP access.
The point of all this rambling is that we recommend respectfully expressing your opinions as to how Genie+ or Lightning Lane is impacting your vacations or business with Walt Disney World by emailing [email protected].
This is far superior to only complaining in comments, social media, forums, etc. (Although Disney sees all of that, too.) Rather than starting petitions, which are largely ineffectual, share feedback in guest satisfaction surveys, bring it up if you speak with managers or others in park leadership, or even contact Guest Relations. Write your letters is a sincere manner, explaining exactly why you were disappointed and the impact it had on your vacation. Sarcasm or “venting” might make you feel better, but it is far less likely to get results.
There’s probably more ground to cover with how Genie+ is working–and breaking–this week at Walt Disney World, but those are my key thoughts in seeing how the last couple of days have played out and seeing reader comments. Should more questions or interesting points arise in the comments, I’ll revise this accordingly. Plus, we’ll be in the parks throughout the weekend and early next week to do more testing and research, and will bring you more firsthand conclusions then. Stay tuned!

YOUR THOUGHTS
If you’re at Walt Disney World for Thanksgiving week, what has been your experience with Genie+ or standby lines? Any success or failures making morning Lightning Lane selections? Would you recommend Genie+ to others, or just advise sticking to standby? Have you had problems with My Disney Experience glitches, errors or bugs? Other problems or thoughts to share? Do you agree or disagree with my assessment? Any questions we can help you answer? Hearing your feedback–even when you disagree with us–is both interesting to us and helpful to other readers, so please share your thoughts below in the comments!
Ouch, your article plus all the comments have only reinforced that not buying Genie + is the right plan for us. I was already opposed to it on principle alone, but since we will be there Christmas to NYE (which I can only imagine will be worse than Thanksgiving as far as availability) I doubt it would do us any good anyway so thanks you saved us from wasting a ton of money! We regularly visit Christmas to New Years (only time everyone is free plus) and with fast pass it was very doable and easy to hit the big rides quickly then wait in stand by lines for anything else we wanted to ride. We usually had very good luck and were able to score additional day of fast passes at all 4 parks. Plus it was only one early morning to book all fast passes at once. As west coasters genie + sounds awful! Having to get up super early every morning in the hopes of scoring something good and then spending the rest of the day, every day on my phone is not my kind of vacation. If only there was a hope of fast pass returning but I know Disney will never admit they were wrong and revert to something that was included with the cost of the ticket when they can charge the crap out of people for this mess 🙁
I tried to buy Genie+ today at 6:50ish AM but there was no button available to pre purchase. It was blank. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. It was so frustrating because I could only purchase it once 7am rolled around and I clicked on an experience. By that point, SDD was gone. I don’t understand why the purchase option was blank.
My husband and I will be at WDW for 3 days during the week of Christmas and have purchased Genie + for all 3 days. He is a teacher so we can only go on trips during very busy times of year. I have kept a close eye on Genie + during Thanksgiving Week to see what would happen during a super busy time (as Christmas will be).
Since we will not be staying on property it became very obvious, very quickly that we will not be able to purchase ILLs for ROTR, Flight of Passage or Remy as those were selling out to resort guests well before park open (ROTR in seconds at 7 am). We also are planning to park hop between AK and Epcot one day, meaning we cannot book the Virtual Queue for Remy (park reservation is at AK). Basically, we won’t be able to ride 2 of the big headliners without standing in 3 hour lines (which we will do for ROTR) and have no chance at all to ride Remy (my husband’s favorite Disney movie).
So, a little less than a month away, we are already disappointed with Disney. We are doing our best to adjust our expectations and try to enjoy what we are able to do, but it’s an awful lot of money to spend just to get into the parks (not to mention travel expenses) to not be able to ride the newer headliners. Is this the experience Disney wants to give their guests? Having them disappointed before they even get there?! We haven’t been there in many, many years and already the experience seems radically different. I’m very sad to see this happening.
I do think resort guests should get an advantage since it is so, so expensive to stay on property but could they maybe hold just a few ILLs for us non-resort guests to have a tiny chance? If we could get a refund we probably would cancel the whole thing at this point, but that isn’t an option. I hope we are able to adjust our attitudes enough to get past the bad feelings before we even get there…Disney used to be the one place where it seemed like the higher-ups cared about guest experience just as much as bottom line, but sadly, that no longer seems to be the case.
I read and re-read all of your posts on genie several times for my three day trip- Passholder but prefer not to hop. We did MK 11/26, Epcot 11/27 and HS 11/28 with the after hours Xmas after. Single mom, one kid which, my exhusband now has a family of five. I did Genie Plus for all thee parks all three days. I bought the a la cadre LL for everything except star wars as luckily my 9 year old daughter gets enough out of good old star tours to get her full of that.
I have followed your stacking tips and for the most part had success. I thought it would be super confusing but it was not. I just told Siri via Apple Watch to remind me of genie 2 hours after park Opening and every reservation.
Literally the only ride we did not get to do, as many have said, slinky. But– we did every single attraction we wanted to with no lines. The price for Two is doable. I would not go to any of the parks without it. I am of the mindset that money comes and goes but time is irreplaceable. So,, given that we got everything we wanted and actually bailed on two because we did so much and were tired, I will not go to the parks and Not get Genie. My daughter and me miserable in line vs 30 bucks/ day and between $40-50 a la cart for the three days .
I took the small things of your advice, the 7 am, the good wifi, having a priority list, stacking throughout the day and I had a major success.
The app is goofy and difficult to navigate/confusing but the actual process worked for me great–SO THANK YOU
However- this system does make me cringe for once in a lifetime Disney goers and larger families, small disposable income.
My point is I guess, I got it to work just fine for me and to have only not gotten one 1 ride I wanted is a raging success and fortunately for two I can swing that.
Were there 12/17-12/22 right before the stacking hack disappeared. It worked brilliantly on the 19th (still a slower day 6/10 crowds); began the day at AK (rope-dropped FOP) and then stacked rides at HS after-park hopping in the afternoon using Genie +. Park hopped after 2 and had up to 5 LL’s at a time. It was lovely. Tried it again Saturday the 20th. Huge disaster. Increased crowds mean the LL’s sell out as Tom mentioned and it made the Genie + purchase a waste of money. Ironically I was able to purchase Genie+ at 6:30 but as soon as I tried to save a time for slinky at 7:00 the app did the “code to email” fail. This happened again on Sunday while trying to get a virtual cue for Remy. No problem being logged in for the genie purchase but as soon as I tried to get a virtual cue time for Remy I was directed to my email to get a code to login. My husband commented that it was Disney’s way of making us pay for ILL for Remy. I didn’t know at the time it was happening to many and thought it was my fault.
I will say that our best money spent was paying for the Very Merriest After Hours. The wait times were sublime, the firework show lovely, and riding SDMT twice with a 10 minute wait at the end of the night was fantastic. We also stayed in a Boardwalk villa and the extra 2 hours in MK on Wednesday was totally worth it. We live in Oregon and go every other year and therefore forked out the $$$ to pay for Very Merriest After Hours. Yup, I am one of the suckers that paid for it but would do it again. During the busy Christmas time I would recommend not purchasing Genie+ and using that extra money to buy the after hour party.
By the way….the Salmon at Space 220 was amazing.
Thanks to you both for your blog and advice…I’m forever a fan:)
I don’t know if emailing Guest Relations is at all helpful. I had an absolutely horrid experience a couple of weeks ago (essentially everything Tom has pointed out for this week even before the holiday crowds could be “blamed” for the issues) and have gotten zero response. Not even an automatically generated “Thank you for sharing, someone might contact you in a few business days” form email.
I really don’t think any of the higher ups care about the guest experience as long as the money keeps going in. I *beg* of everyone on this blog who has been recently with a bad experience: please stop going. Don’t talk yourself into going again in a year to “get your Disney fix,” don’t let hype for new attractions sway you, tell all your friends it really isn’t worth the money right now, etc. Because if things can be this bad but profits stay up, the company will have less than zero motivation to change anything. There are plenty of bloggers like Tom who will keep reporting on things so you’ll know when it is “safe” to go back and experience something approximating the magic from before the shutdown. (I was there in Feb 2020 and despite larger than expected crowds and the dreaded Virtual Queue had a far superior experience to my one day earlier this month.)
We bought Genie+ for every day of our upcoming trip, Dec 29 – Jan 4. We should have priority for ILL. I realize that may be unpopular but for those of us who saved and cut back on meals out and other entertainment all year, well the past few years, I have to maximize our one big vacation that may not happen again for a couple years.
Like I said in another post, we did not buy Genie+ but we did have park hoppers and my family of 5 with three kids 5-9 hit all 4 parks on Friday. We got lucky with transportation and ended up calling a dining reservation because the restaurant was behind. We were able to do most everything we wanted (we did skip many thrill rides because my kids are not daring). I waited in lines I said I’d never wait that long for, but the crowds were large so we just said “suck it up” and made the best of it. I caved and bought Remy because the kids really wanted to ride (7:02 am completed the purchase). That was a lovely line experience though I didn’t like the ride that much, the boys loved it so money well spent. We did wait for 1.5 hours twice for fireworks so we could have a relatively non-cramped spot with complete views of the castle. Another thing I noticed was that there were a TON of VIP tours this week. I saw at least two groups of 16 people. I don’t think we will go back on a holiday week again unless we have more than five days to be in Disney.
All of this new Genie, Genie+ and LIghtning Lane trickery is just too much! I’m making my first solo trip soon, and will be hoping the “single rider line” provides some benefit???
Your screen shots of your GENIE+ screens were too small for me to read. Maybe I am IT challenged because I could not figure out how to enlarge them. I am an old dog, sorry.
We are so thankful for your updates and just returned from 4 days at DW. We loved LL and Genie+, but my son who was traveling with another group had a horrible time! His horror story is that he waited in line for over FIVE HOURS for Rise of the Resistance, finally got on and it broke down. They offered him a lightning lane pass to come back, but who can really enjoy it after that? No ride anywhere in the world is worth 5 hours. Disney needs to get a better handle on their LL system!
We just completed a week at Disney. Thanksgiving week, Sunday – Saturday.
Here ‘s what I learned and wishwould happen ( or perhaps exists but I could figure out):
Crowds through Thanksgiving were too large.
Friday after Thanksgiving seemed so much better.
When purchasing LL, hold my selection for 30 seconds while I verify my party and hit pay button. I don’t want to choose a 10 AM slot only to learn after purchasing that it can’t be redeemed until 3 PM.
After hours special tickets ( Mickeys Merriest) lovely time and great crowds. Don’t waste your $$$ purchasing a daytime pass before.
Improve breakfast options for pick-up.
Allow guests to order meals the day before ( Hated trying to organing everything at 6 – 7 AM each day)
Pipe fireworks music to dock speakers around seven Seas Lagoon. .
Put ip signage to indicate walking bridge is closed at night to allow redocking of boat light show.
Adult only hot tubs. And yes, small children in hot tubs are NOT, being supervised. Very scary.
California Grill was fabulous in every way, Thank you!
Way to go Disney! Another in an extremely long list if epic failures….
Currently in the parks with a group of 11. I have only two words for Disney regarding Genie Plus…. Epic Failure. As my Dad always says, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I miss Fast Pass.
We visited earlier this week and found the system very stressful. Trying to book around our dining reservations and trying to figure out how to add only some party members but not others to rides, trying to drop, etc., and yes, having to log in repeatedly and wait for emailed codes… Happy we were able to get the main rides we wanted, but was happier when we could book those well in advance and not 7am the morning of visits. The new way is good for rope drop guests and those planning a trip last minute, but we are neither. Just ended up paying more than we used to and having more stress during the vacation.
We’ll be there in a week. I’ve decided not to even mess with it and have already informed the fam that we’ll see what we see and the pack some patience. Thankfully my kids are a little older, can handle waiting in line and are most definitely willing to skip things we’ve done a hundred times before. No one will be upset if we don’t ride Peter Pan because we stood in line for space mountain. I don’t want the headache or stress of trying to book things while I’m there. I just want to enjoy it.
We visited WDW Nov. 17-21, 2021. We had Genie+ for our 3 day hopper and we purchased multiple ILLs. Our party was 2 adults, 4 kids ages 9-15 on 2 separate reservations. I “controlled” all Genie+ and ILLs selections from my account; hence I was more or less on my phone alllll day.
Thurs DHS: 7 am booked SDD 2:10-3:10 then purchased ILLs for Rise ($15, 12:15-1:15) and MMRR ($14 I think? 11:35-12:35).
Used Genie+ in the parks on Toy Story, ToT, and was gifted a freebie for SDD because we had a yucky morning (Anna in guest relations was lovely.) We used early hours and were in line at 7:40 for Rise, but it never opened so we got out of line around 8:30. We rode Smugglers Run around then, then did standby for RnRc, then Toy Story then MMRR. Slinky was down all morning, too. Long story short, weather was gross and half of our party left around 2 pm because we had done everything that we could with Genie-+ and the two main headliners were still down- Rise and SDD. We missed our ILL and Genie+ for both due to both being down during our timeframes. They both eventually came back on around 2:30/45 and we got on SDD at 3:10 and then got on Rise around 3:30. (It was a mad dash for half of our party to come back to make our original SDD by 3:10). All in all it was a stressful morning. Two of us came back at 7 pm and got in standby for Rise. We were on it within an hour! Long, somewhat frustrating day with extended down time.
Friday MK and After Hours: 7 am booked PP with Genie+, purchased ILL for SDMT. Got to the park late, 11:30, by then had booked Pooh at 11 so we rode all 3 from 12-12:30 and still made our lunch reservation at The Plaza by 12:45. After PP and Pooh, I booked additional Genie+ selections (Pirates, Dumbo, Little Mermaid). Rode some standby (Barnstormer, Teacups, PhilharMagic, PeopleMover) and shopped. We had After Hours tickets (check in was a cluster of epic proportions and an email complaint has been sent). Parade was canceled because it was wet (??) but we saw part of the stage show and the fireworks at 11:15 pm. Three of us did stay till 1 AM and we rode Pirates, BTMRR, Splash, Haunted Mansion, SDMT, and Space multiple times. Never made it to Buzz or CoP, but that was ok with us. Party was disappointing with awful check in (in line for 50 minutes, missed Enchantment, system was down for check in, only 2 cast members manually checking people in..,), no parade, no merchandise, and bad weather, over which they have no control.
Sat: 7 am booked ILL for Rat ($14 I think? 2:55-3:55 pm) and FoP ($14 again I think?? 4:35-5:35) as we were splitting the day between Epcot and AK. Then booked Genie+ for Soarin before lunch at Via Napoli. Rode and ate, then did TT single rider, then Rat, then walked to Boardwalk to catch a bus to AK. Rode FoP with ILL then booked Genie+ Dinosaur and did Everest single rider and stand by like five times. Went to Animal Kingdom Lodge to show half of our party the lobby then half went home and half of us went back to Epcot to catch Harmonious. Sunday we did both Universal parks before flying home. (Velocicoaster was incredible! That was our #1 priority there as we’ve ridden everything else).
All in all I was OK with Genie+ (Studios was tough! Not a great day, plus things were gone early and lines were long) and more than OK with ILL selections. We only visit once a year so we were fine with paying extra to ensure we rode our must do’s. I’m a pretty seasoned visitor, I do my research, and yet there were times I still felt overwhelmed and frustrated with emails and access codes and ride down time.
Your blog helped tremendously with our prep! Thanks for your hard work!
I am here now. I had previously commented that I had lost the ability to cancel a Genie+ LL reservation. The “Cancel” feature reappeared today for me.
Today was a complete waste of Genie+. I paid for Genie+ only to use it for STAR TOURS. Started out at AK. Bought Genie+ planning to stack some LLs for HS park hop. Booked Millennium Falcon at 7:00am. Did not get the time I chose. Rope dropped FOP, then did Navi, safari, and Everest. Very early lunch at Satuli. Afternoon rest and on to HS. I had also booked Rockin Roller, but the time I chose was not the time I was given. I got a time right in the middle of ADR at Minnie’s Holiday Dine. So couldn’t use it and there was no more availability. I also bought ILLs to ROTR and MMRR to avoid the lines. Was unable to use the LL for MFSR because ROTR had broken down so it was very backed up by the time we got in the queue, and the time had expired for the MFRS LL. I’m not sure if they would have let us on MFSR late since we were delayed at ROTR, but we opted to do SDD… we did stand by because I knew not to even waste my time trying to get a LL for that. So the only ride I used a Genie+ LL for was Star Tours, which was worthless because it was only a 10 minute wait anyway. I was unable to book Toy Story because all LLs were gone… even LLs for Alien Swirling Saucers were gone! My mistake for thinking I could successfully stack any LLs I could use with (1) an ADR and (2) two ILLs purchased. It could have potentially been successful if the times I chose for LLs were the actual times I got. That is a huge problem.
Oh my the headache genie + creates!!!! Hollywood studios was decent yesterday( perhaps less people due to Thanksgiving?) it gave me hope for today. Animal kingdom today not as smooth. App kept signing us out, my LLs were not showing on my plans, we missed lion king show and made my son cry. All that being said we were able to get LL for everything except the safari. My kids were happy and entertained,AND huge bonus my thrill seeking husband was able to get on Avatar and all the big non kid friendly rides. The chaos and constant phone checking was less than enjoyable to make it all happen. A sangria or 2 may have been bought to deal with it !
