Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade Photos
Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade is run during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom on select nights during the holiday season. Christmas is one of the best times of year to visit Walt Disney World, and this parade is a big reason why!
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade debuted in 2007, when it replaced the very similar Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parade; the prior parade had been running since 1994. The current Christmas parade consists of elves, toy soldiers, reindeer, gingerbread men, and Disney characters in their holiday finery. The music in this parade is very catchy, and is available online (find it with our Disney Parks Music Guide). It is not the same as the parade that is shown on ABC on Christmas Day, which is filmed at Walt Disney World the first weekend of December each year.

Your Thoughts…

I loved the Christmas party the first time was 2dollars and we had a wonderful time my husband and I it was our 30th wedding anniversary December 4 and two years later we went again and we had a wonderful time again and then in 2013 I took my sister and me to Disney world but I had to use the scooter but the people were just cutting me off the kids were running in front of me While I was trying to get through so I cut it short one back to Tony’s restaurant and sat out there and watch the parade from there and then we saw the fireworks and we left the crowd was just too much for me and the scooter is more trouble than a people just cut you off and here you are trying to get through so you could go and enjoy everything very rude and I’m sad to say it and I’d love to come again to tell you the truth I love Disney World The best to all the cast members of Disney World with you are wonderful people. Thank you for a wonderful time God bless Elizabeth Eckhart
Awesome parade I loved it my favourite was the reindeers, Mickey and Minnie, Donald and Daisy, Goofy, Pluto and the GingerBread men 🙂
Thank you for these. My daughter and I are going in November and have our Christmas Party tickets already. We were there in 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed the parade, but a lot of our pictures were not very good. I hope you don’t mind me using some of yours to scrapbook the experience after we’ve gone this year. (Maybe we’ll be able to enjoy the parade even more so if we know we already have some great shots.) THANKS again!
How do the Christmas parties work during normal park hours After the last schedule day of “hard ticket” days? Are the parades at night? Does it still snow on Main Street, etc? And when will these start, December 20th. 2014?
This isn’t related to parade but was wondering about the sleigh ride is it worth it or not ?
Great pictures! What camera/lens did you shoot these with?
took my daughter to Disneyland last year during the week of Thanksgiving for vacation, Absolutely ‘LOVED IT”, I have seen photos of it being decorated for the holidays but never had the chance to experience it till then, Hope to do it all again this year..
It’s a fantastic parade. Free cookies and hot chocolate at tomorrowland terrace was a nice touch.
I’ve been to WDW a ton of times…even worked there and somehow never experience MVMCP! Husband and I will be going in November and he’s purchased tickets for this party. I can not wait to go! This review is very helpful as I didn’t really know what to expect and the flow of the event. Great job and awesome pictures!
Where is the best place for great photos during the very merry christmas parade
End of Main Street, near the Christmas Tree.
I just absolutely Loved it, it was a childhood dream to be there at Christmas and I was in my forty’s when I was there, it was so magical, something I think everyone deserves to experience.
